Does anyone else try to throw Ana nade through your teammates to anti the other team but it just ends up hitting your teammate and you just feel dumb?
If you jump just before you throw it. You can usually get it to just barely go over their heads and splash the ground in front of them.
yeeep. Also lots of wasted Kiriko suzus same way.
@@Linaardwhy would u Suzu the enemies
@@Arif-mr2mkto mess up their aim duh
nah, I throw it to my teammates to heal them and they jump over it because I aimed too low 🧍
I did a little bullet point for the issues I saw with the Ana, and pointed out three things on Kiriko.
The key things you should focus on to improve with Ana is:
*Posistioning*
-Where can the enemy see me from?
-Which angles can they attack me from?
-Can i still heal my allies?
*Less scoping*
-Scoping isn't bad in general, but it slows you down and makes you an easier target
-Pre-heal works better unscoped as the scope is hitscan, unscoped is projectile. Shots go through fully healed allies.
-A huge pluss would be to learn quickscoping with Ana.
*Tunnelvision*
-There are two supports, on attack first point Orisa died cause Ana was chasing the Ashe that was quickly picked up by mercy.
-Make sure to not stay scoped for long periods of time unless needed to, as this creates tunnelvision and also makes you less aware of enemies flanking, etc.
*Heal Priority*
If a target is in a fight, they need more healing than a person who leaves the fight, like when the Echo flies away at 15:52 they have access to a Mega healthpack, and is also out of your line of sight
*Scoped / Unscoped*
When close to allies, its better to unscope as it has a lower recovery rate between each shot compared to scoped shots, meaning you can get in more healing unscoped if i remember correctly, someone point out if this has been changed please.
The kiriko gameplay was decent.
*First Point Defence*
Only picky thing on defence first is 5:30 being a bit too far forward, leaving heals to not connect as well and moving onto the torb in the little confusion, while also remaining quit exposed.
*Second Point Defence*
On second point, staying on 7:30 is quite risky as your right outside their spawn door, and the Kitsune rush was quite risky cause of just having Ramatra there, so it would be better if it was saved for later. The other thing on point 2 is the tunnelvision on the reaper, after pressuring him out, don't chase, i get you wanna confirm the kill, but you isolated yourself from your team, while they get less healing. Just make a note of it and adjust positioning accordingly along with a call in voice chat.
I don't really have anything to point out on third.
You use the cleanse in situations where you get less value, but if it can buy time to get in more healing, then its fine. I'd like to see more DPS from you when all allies are on full HP, pre-healing is fine if there is a fight about to start or already going, but its better to get in some DPS if you don't need to be healing. Times spent healing full hp targets, especially between fights could be used to set up for the next fight, like climb to high ground and get a good posistioning for some cheeky shots.
I don't think aim is a problem, key things I'd work on is definitively posistioning, its often the key to climbing. Game sense will come with time. I was really impressed by your Kiriko, and I do not think you belong in bronze with Kiriko. Remember that you can wall climb and take advantage of that to get out of sticky situations and to also get into better posistioning.
Awesome to see people putting effort into helping each other.
I would add one encompassing bullet point as an overarching theme they can base their mindset around:
*Think not what the enemy can do to you, but what you can do to the enemy*
- To whom can you apply pressure through damage, anti nade, sleep? Who can you most easily bully with your abilities and damage?
- Whose plays are most easy for you to shut down consistently? Whose value can you negate the most? Which reoccurring fights can you consistently turn into your favor?
For example, knowing the two tanks will constantly duke it out every fight, look to find an angle where you can throw an anti nade when your tank gets low - so you both heal them up quickly while also anti-ing the enemy tank who is going for the kill. Sleep the enemy tank as often as possible when they're engaging in fights. Deal damage to those on the enemy team that are dealing damage to your allies. Focus on healing criticals that are in immediate threat of dying, and if nobody is in immediate threat then look for damage / disruption rather than healing.
@@Real_MisterSir I think that as much as they submit their games for content, its not really done justice unless they can get some proper tips out of it. I also feel a bit bad for the comments some people make. I have games I'm terrible at, and games I've been really bad at, but improved and climbed. Considering the Title, the player really wants to climb, and if I can help with one comment and some of my time, then I'm greatful its taken to heart :D
I reached GM as Ana / Bap (my main support picks) last season, being stuck in masters before. I don't think I'm a god gamer, i could probably drop as quickly as i climbed. That said, I don't think people should be saying negative stuff considering the rank the player is at. Respect the player regardless of the gameplay, everyone wants to improve and I'd want to help encourage that, not discourage :)
@@Vs3Walker I absolutely agree. One thing is criticism in terms of feedback that actually highlights potential pitfalls and don't sugarcoat blatant issues, but there is no reason to outright hate or ridicule. As long as comments are in the spirit of helping the player improve, that's what matters and makes a difference.
I have coached quite a few people from bronze to gm (most being plat-masters), and one of the most common themes I see in games is frustration of not being able to realize why their team is underperforming, and desperately trying to find sense in it by blaming a symptom of the issue, rather than the cause. And these symptoms always end up being "bad team mates, bad matchmaking, rng unluck, bs hero mechanics" etc. Essentially all the things that tend to be outside the player's own control. So it's refreshing to see when people like you can come out and help shed light on what the person can control in their own gameplay, so that everything around them that is outside their control gets less mental importance.
Srry if this is long I just wanna talk abt it (I'm on console btw)
I wanna try out comp I've never played competitive for any type of game nd I've only been playing for like what 3 months? Nd only have 26 hours all together. I
I've definitely gotten better since the first time I've ever played, it was with friends. I couldn't aim whatsoever, I was all over the place nd I was overwhelmed a bit but then after a few months after that first game I played my brother has me play for him on Ana nd I was doing amazing I was healing a lot nd my aim was great to keep em off point afterwards my aim was rlly bad on ana but I've gotten better so far.
I kinda wanna try it out but I'm kinda nervous abt the toxicity if I'm rlly bad or just not being able to provide in general so any advice would be great nd tbh this is the best I've seen abt it😭😭 rn.
For support I main mercy or ana but I can't get the full potential of her movement nd for ana I can't aim too well.
For dps it's sombra, mei nd sym and I've been trying to play ash(yes ik they're the top 5 most annoying characters to people but I just find them fun ☹️) I forget I can go invis as sombra as well as putting down my teleporter. I'm pretty okay as mei but I dont get enough value out of her wall but I do use her ice cube to distract but sometimes I fall short bc I don't use her secondary fire enough nd on sym I just don't know how to make smart plays with her turrets.
And for tank it's dva bc idk how to play other tanks but I've tried out ball a few times I think I'm pretty good at her but I don't use metrix enough nd I dive the team without supports sometimes
In general, I'm not good at movement, I don't jump enough or I don't know how to position myself correctly honestly idk what to do in terms of that or how to get full value out of my plays if u guys could help that'd be amazing fr
Not coaching tho just tips that you suggest would help me get into comp or just get better in general
His Kiriko was like maybe silver but his Ana was definitely bronze 😂
ok i’m the kiriko i didn’t know you did this so now i’m watching this on my france trip lmao thank you for watching idk if you gave tips because i’m pre commenting
edit: also i almost never play ana xD i am too bad with her i know
Work on your positioning
use your climb passive to reach high ground and don't stand in front of your tank
save your suzu to save yourself or counter the ana nade.
If your tank gets slept they'll get up in 3 seconds and ultimately not worth it unless their health is low
Don't just heal bot use your kunais and take your time aiming for headshots so you can 2 tap 200 hp targets
You're a silver Kiriko (but yeah maybe a B5 Ana, so many nades wasted on your purple tanks). The Kitsune into their spawn was a mistake, but your whole team was making the mistake of not backing up to the choke for the next fight. Even if you died in their spawn yall still probably full hold 2nd point with Kitsune held for the fight at the end. And then the couple of things Emongg mentioned on point three.
The whole thing about B5 is the insanity of it all, how the Sym stayed alive in their spawn forever, how the tanks ignore all the squishies to shoot at the other tank.
@@grife3000 i dont even believe this is silver. I've seen "high bronze" and its still bettter than this.
@@cooltwittertag I'm saying that the OP is good enough to rank up to silver, not that this was a silver game.
I think your Kirkuk is gold level, but your ana is not good
As an Ana main, I saw a lot wrong with the attack round. Emongg focused on the positioning and tunnel vision most but the nades and constant scoping in were also big problems, also try to shoot more, several times you held shots until you were perfectly lined up when it is more important to learn to aim and shoot at the pace of your weapon.
They were bad but you’re not going to get punished for hardscoping in bronze nor will your team take advantage of proper nades. If they fixed the positioning and tunnel vision they could probably get to gold pretty easily.
i mean the constant scoping was what contributed to the tunnel vision the most so it was technically also critiqued
i love how they always scope on ana no matter how far their teammates/the enemies are lol like they never hipfire
I am the complete opposite, lol. I nearly always hipfire and stay close to my team instead of keeping distance.
maybe they secretly know that scope = faster healing! (hitscan vs projectile). such 100 iq bronze play.
“I deserve higher than bronze 5”
*round start infront of the tank*
“I’m high but can be higher” 💀
Can we get much higher?
bro not only was in front of the tank but immediately put himself between the tank and a pocketed widow
genius plays
With the mechanics alone, no doubt he could climb to bronze 4
With the ow2 rank system they should be way higher if this is a normal game and not just the best game they've ever had.
@@Relevart9169 how? this is some bronze 5 gameplay. You're just delusional and blame the ow ranked system for everything.
In Bronze 5 I go for a flank and the entire team turns around and kills me. This Sym/Soldier flanks and not a soul notices.
Honestly Emongg is an amazing announcer.
Im a Kiriko Diamond player and I dont see enough flanking to get a pick and tp back to safety. That really crucial because Kiriko is one of the best duelists in game. Other than that I think you could be silver.
wholesome comment. offers critique without being mean or judgy about it and says something encouraging (that they do deserve a higher rank once they work on a big issue). I love that :)
he deserves plat
You watched the Awkward video, I see.
@@ultimateblaze23 Not even close. This is silver gameplay at best.
it sucks because even in plat/diamond people keep trying to call you back with the team as kiriko but it’s like… dude… i can teleport… flanking and getting picks as her is fun but difficult if your team doesn’t understand
this person definitely has potential. I think their suzu problem comes from watching streamers in top 500 who will suzu an ally who is low *when there isn't anything worth saving suzu for* like ana nade or JQ ult. this person seems to be in the habit of just using it to heal someone who's critical and sometimes that can be the right play, but most of the time, your ofuda will do the trick.
but their potential really shows when they use kitsune to initiate a fight. that shows good awareness of the flow of the fight, and awareness is one of the most important things for a support.
i think they will benefit a lot from being more proactive during fights. don't just spam healing. there is enough time while your ofuda are reloading to throw a kunai. technically i think there's time for two but when you're first starting to work on this, don't min max, just start small and get into the rhythm. you don't even need to hit anything, just get into the habit of heal-heal-heal-kunai. little bits of damage on top of healing mean you get kitsune faster, which is always good.
and of course, positioning is super important. don't put yourself at risk just to throw some healing to an ally. find the safest places possible while still being able to do your job. save swift step to get out and use wall climb to get off angles. kiriko can contribute so much value by pressuring the enemy by shooting from off angles.
off angles doesn't mean hardcore flanking. it just means adding another angle from which the enemy is being shot at. why? the enemy has to choose between shooting you or your team and shielding/mitigating damage from you or your team. if they choose to shoot you, you have swift step for an easy escape.
anyway this is just my two cents. good luck to this person!
Every kiri at low rank just forgets they can wall climb it can get them out of so many situations
the positioning is what is holding them back
that and the fact that they have tunnel vision and heal fully healed targets and neglect dying ones. And ofcourse use abilities at random moments.
their decision making is kinda off, one can clearly see a huge sleep or nade oportunity but they dont make that happen, the easiest one i saw is spam sleep dart on rein since shield off or punish bad enemy position with nade but yeah they need more confidence to do plays like that
Their positioning is a symptom. The root is inexperience with what value means. They don't understand the concept of value, so they just gravitate towards what they can see and play reactively to everything. They tunnel vision, they give away good positions, they healbot, they fail to seek oportunities that provide a future advantage, because all they are capable of seeing is current in-the-moment issues, and they end up playing catch-up constantly.
For them to improve and rank up would take a ton of playtime, or dedicated coaching.
Kinda amazing to think that in order to climb in different ranks you actually have to consider how BAD your team is and change your playstyle around it.
For instance, blue beam isnt going to do anything for dps that cant hit a shot. Where as dumping more heals into the tank who refuses to use natural covet will. GM players would complain about "use blue beam more" but it doesnt work the same as it does in highe ranks. Then when you get into diamond masters, your play style has to change again because now enemies can hit their shots but so can yours. Just, interesting to think about
What people like this guy really have to think, is "the enemy is full of Bronze players. Let me shit on them like a true smurf would". And if you can't shit on them like a smurf, well then you aren't ready to climb cus if you DID deserve a higher rank, then you would essentially be a smurf already in terms of pure individual skill diff. You would be able to spot their weaknesses and misplays, foresee their intentions, and be prepared to counteract almost everything they do.
But the mindset of forgetting that the enemy players are supposed to be far worse than you, is something a lot of people do because they subconsciously act as if the enemies are equals and that fighting them is difficult. Anyone who truly deserves to climb (quickly/consistently) wouldn't feel like they're playing vs equals.
"use blue beam more" isn't the same thing as saying "use blue beam the way a GM would." it literally means use blue beam more. if your dps can't hit a shot, damage boost your tank or your other support. but still damage boost dps when they throw Ashe dynamite and similar abilities.
this isn't the main point you were making, but it bugs me when people misunderstand or misconstrue or misstate advice about mercy
New sym and soldier invisibility buff?
Once an Orisa starts 1v1’ing the enemy Orisa there is NO stopping that 1v1 untill the other perishes
I like how they intentionally get up as close into Reaper's face as possible.
I think if they use aggresive ana nades a lot more frequently, they will win a lot more team fights.
right now there's a lot of time between nades.
Emongg would be an insane rapper with the speed he can talk at.
Their ana was terrible but kiriko was less terrible. Ana's nades were absolutely terrible. Nade the tank when they are crit, otherwise you should be nading the enemy any single time they are grouped up, dont prefire and preheal on a nearly full hp tank. Use the time between healing to make plays, always play from cover. Your sleep game was non existent. When close range, dont scope. Learn ana's projectile speed and no scope close teammates and enemies. Hard scoping at close range you are gonna be wasting time trying to get someone in your crosshairs. Dont tunnel, as emmong said. Look at enemy comp, if they have a shield, play closer to your tank. If they dont, you can play further back and lob nade without fear of it getting blocked. If they do have a shield, let your teammates know if they are out of your line of sight or behind an enemy shield. If they have dive (not a problem at bronze really) play close regardless of if they have a shield or not. Dont ever stand in front of your tank. Never nade yourself unless you are being dove. When rein charges and he will a lot in bronze. Sleep him when he is on the move or when he hits the wall and nade him while he is asleep. This should become and automatic reflex. Same for if doomfist is blocking.. etc etc. Always try to hold an angle where you can see the entire ally team. I know this isnt always possible but definitely you should keep an eye on the tank and other healer always. ALWAYS PLAY FOR HIGH GROUND, win the fight from the high ground THEN get on the objective. Always try to get ana up high. As emmong said, much easier to land nades if you are above a target. The one time you went high, you immediately jumped down. You could of shifted right along the catwalk to keep your team in sight and been behind the enemy team. They were ignoring you. Its risky yes but the reward is massive if they ignore you. All the advice i can think of at the moment. Your kiriko was silver. Your ana was definitely bronze. Do aim labs for a bit to improve. Youll move up. Masters Ana here.
Kiriko is just 10x more forgiving than Ana. He still made major blunders by missing suzu or wasting it often, healbotting instead of applying meaningful pressure, etc. Kiriko's baseline value is just much more obtainable and its hard to punish her so bad positioning isn't as much of a risk factor.
@@Real_MisterSir oh yeah their kiriko wasnt great either but was definitely better than their Ana.
If he really wants to climb go baptise he’s easy to use just need to be hit hits scan shots imortallity he’s very similar to kiri but has the healing capabilities of Ana and a window of opportunity bap is also the best of most worlds he just can’t really heal echo or phara
Emongg's rapid fire play by plays are so fire 😂🔥🔥
Man, bronze is really a true masterpiece recipe to WHATEHELLISGOINGON???
Luzifers channeling that middle child energy. 🤣🤣🤣
That soldier's habits are ganna catch up to him when he hits gold 1 💀
“How is this Sym still… oh finally.” 😂😂😂
She ain't using wall-climb effectively. Like, she ended up in a meaningless 1v1 with a reaper for example, where she could have just wall-climbed the boxes and kept healing/peeling the reaper.
My advice (I’m no pro I’m a gold healer).. climb walls before teleporting… when attacking utilize walls/boxes and angles.. and get closer to them.. I’d save teleport to get away 🏃🏻♀️
the first 30 seconds of the game i had a game so simmilar that i had to check the name to make sure i wasnt in the game lol
0 value on the cleanse which is Kiriko's strongest ability + not enough dmg and healing high hp allies is totally bronze level.
Not rlly, if you have a mentallity to farm kitsune, which is a game changing ult, is fine to heal tank. What is holding him back is definitly the fact he doesnt flank to get picks nor uses wall climb. Also the positioning a bit.
@@trigotauro3631 flanking for picks is relatively high level. You can 1000% get out of bronze without doing that. prob not a good idea to tell low rank players to do that
healbotting, awful positioning in front of her own tank and in widow sight lines and pretty bad aim. also i don't think this kiriko has a fundamental understanding of her abilities.
@@chimkimyeah I’m actually laughing at people saying you need to get picks on kiri to get out of bronze. It’s so clear these people don’t know the game at every level
Ohhh im sorry for trying to help
Off topic but: Red Tank makes me want to scream out in rage.
They spent so much of the match trying to heal full HP targets.
i hate when i’m kiriko and i try to suzu my teammates who are almost dead and the enemy team is fighting them and i throw the suzu as someone who’s fully healed jumps in front of me
As a bronze Ana, quickscoping is such a crucial movement to learn, once you kinda start getting the hang of it your gameplay changes a lot
Stop healing your teammates at full health and do some damage bruh
As a silver player I can confirm that this player is a smarter than 90% of silver dps players.
The music 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Luzifers was cooking this game, lets not lie and all admit that right now
Who knows? Let’s find out xD
God I love these
The biggest thing between a silver and bronze support is how bad your team is.
so many new tanks think that walking forward and shooting is all there is to tanking. nothing else matters and the concept of behind them doesn't exist. just forward bots.
i swear Orisa players have tunnel-vision.
had one just last match, her entire backline kept getting wrecked while she was "making space" the only issue was that she just went halfway across the map completely ignoring the enemy team running past her, their tank in our backline while she is blisfully ignorant of this fact and then she asks for heals.... Uck....
And this is one of the reasons why I personally detest playing support; No one in your team turns around to help!
XD But wait there's more! They'll definitely ask for you to heal/support (and even get angry, mad and say you are bad at the game will you're trying your best just to survive)
I guess it's annoying but honestly, if you stop expecting your team to help you, you won't be disappointed (and it'll be really exciting when they do!) and you'll get better at positioning and survival because you're not relying on team resources. this is something I did and once I started, I improved so much and focused a lot more on what I can do for my team and to the enemies instead of what I thought my team wasn't doing for me
and squashing chat entirely or blocking and muting at the first sign of nonsense will make your life so much easier. we don't get to control a lot of things in life, but we do get to control whether we continue to listen to nonsense in overwatch
@@sethescope What do you mean by stop expecting my team to help me?
And just to keep this out of the conversation: I'm not saying if a player is placing himself/herself in bad position or play like a donkey on a wheel, what I'm trying to point out is the lack of team work in OW.
@@kanekianti-sora1666 you're right, that's pretty unclear, thanks for pointing that out so I can explain!
let me give you an example from my own experience. I play a lot of Mercy and I used to go for some resses because I would expect my tanks (bc this was ow1) to help me out in some way, like zarya bubbles or Rein holding the shield up. it was rare, but definitely not unheard of, for this to happen and I ended up dying a lot and getting super frustrated because why wasn't my team helping me?
just for clarity, I don't go into voice chat, any possible benefit of voice chat isnt going to outweigh how distracting other people are and how distracted I get from just the possibility that someone is going to get toxic. if you go into voice chat and your team is too, asking for the specific help you need will mean there's a better chance of getting it (though of course it's not guaranteed, sometimes people aren't in a good position to help or they don't have the cool down, etc)
so, because I had noticed a pattern where I wasn't getting help with resses, I decided to just assume my team wasn't going to help me and play accordingly. I started playing as though my team didn't even know I existed. I changed up my positioning, I started to do stuff like track enemy cool downs that could affect me (Winston jump so I could GA away, sleep dart for res, etc). I would only go for resses that I was 95% sure I could get off safely without any help (the extra 5% is because I'm a feeder lol and sometimes you gotta go for the yolo resses in overtime when someone has a big ult you need)
I generally think it's just good overall practice as a support to focus on needing as few team resources as possible. why? so the team can devote as many resources as possible to capturing the objective. granted, ideally, our teams would recognize it's a good idea to sometimes invest some resources in us lol but again, that's not always going to happen so I just feel like it's a better idea overall in ranks below masters (maybe diamond) to play as though your team doesn't know you exist.
this means you'll stay alive longer (again, unless you're a feeder like me but that's a personal problem I have) and if you're alive longer, you're able to support your team longer and increase the chance that your team will win. and you'll also break some bad habits too because we all have some, no matter what rank we're in.
I want to be clear that I don't mean to just hand wave away your frustration although it may have come across this way. it is frustrating. it's also possible that your teams are trying to help you or want to help you but just don't know how (either in general or just in the heat of the moment because we all mess up sometimes under pressure). but a lot of the time, yeah, our teammates are completely unaware of what we're doing, and there are absolutely people out there who just think supports are mobile health packs. they're wrong, and that opinion just proves their ignorance about a significant aspect of the game. it doesn't make it any easier to hear/read, though, hence my decision to avoid all chats so I don't have to deal with that nonsense lol but I get that's not for everyone necessarily. but I DO encourage everyone to block and mute at the first sign of negativity. even if you just SUSPECT they might get like that, imo it's better to be safe than sorry
@@sethescope There you go! Know we're going the right path XD.
I shall take into consideration the blocking/muting the "I know more than you" kind of people (I usually just ignore them) and try to hold my ground the best I can with low expectations on the others (Not going to be fun, but worth the try)
@@kanekianti-sora1666 it definitely takes practice, but it gets easier over time. stuff will happen sometimes that'll still frustrate and annoy you but it'll be rarer than before. tbh, this just makes the game more fun for me and it's easier to just focus on what's in my direct control than the goofy flanks someone on my team is going for haha
oh, dude, once you get into the habit of just immediately blocking and muting people, life gets soooo much easier imo. you don't owe it to them to listen to their nonsense if they're bringing bad vibes to the match, AND even if you do your best to ignore them, I still find it stressful to have that negativity anywhere near me and god knows I already have enough stress in my life lol and it's just always worth trying something new like this imo. you might find it works for you, you might find it doesn't, but at least you know for sure either way, you know?
These are the kind of ppl to complain about Sym being op and annoying lol
As a Gold Ana main....🤣🤣🤣 lol the comments
yall are acting like she said she belonged in masters XD she aint bad and has potential no idea why yall are tripping so hard in the comments
Yeeerrrr
based on the first 5mins, probably like high gold, healbotting too much but thats also how you win bronze games

why is kiri healing max hp teammates 85% of the match

This would be a disaster
true
i would love to see that
yeah no they belongs in bronze
silver 2
they deserve bronze
Fr lmao. Bottom 500😂
Gold players with high egos smh probably silver altleast they weren't that bad
nah. Silver is probably suitable. They were a step above bronze but just barely. They were also held back severely by teammates positioning. Which is what happens most matches for support mains. If your dps/tank position horribly, you're forced to aswell as support. Regardless of you knowing better spots.
although i got to say, them jumping down from high grounds constantly annoyed me.
Have u seen any other bronze vids? Or even gold? The Kiriko was way better than those
@@Arif-mr2mk not enough dps, not taking high ground advantage, not using natural covers, mostly ends up in the frontline, rarely hits a suzu, also a healbot, high bronze is the best i can say
Way more damage is needed. Healbotting wont win you games on your merit, you’ll get carried. You cant climb if ur only carried
kiriko not doing damage mixed up with healing
no, you belong in bronze 5
stay there
