I just got home, so when I opened my phone to see the notification for this..... Let's just say I immediately ran into my room, and screamed "YAAAAS" at the top of my lungs.... My neighbor's are probably scared now XD.
You know, it's kinda interesting to view Dark, Anti, and Blank as related characters to each TH-camr's respective persona. You can kinda draw a parallel to a mental illness with all of them. Blank would be anxiety, panic attacks, and stress disorders. Anti would be depression and suicidal thoughts. Dark would be repressal of negative emotions, especially towards grief, betrayal, and being stuck in a sticky situation with no easy solution. Blank seems to be this nagging thought that always talks to Ethan; something that you can repress, and has little power, unless you allow it to take control of your feelings and run away with it, spiralling into a haze of thoughts about what could've been. Blank really seems to be a projection of severe anxiety, the desire to be perfect and the fear of messing things up, and how such thoughts can consume you to the point where you almost feel like an empty puppet; broken but still being pulled along on routinal strings. Anti seems to be this pestering, intrusive, expressive idea that never goes away, never backs down, and will do anything to get you to comply. It's not easily repressed nor dealt with, and never fully goes away; it's always there, always destructive, and acts on a whim. However, it's also *_patient_* at the same time; it bides its time, waiting for the most opportune moment to strike with all the pent-up thoughts and feelings all at once. Has the least amount of power in light of positive thinking, but even in positive thinking still finds a way to poison that train of thought. Also something you can't run and hide from; it's something you constantly battle, because the only alternative is giving in and losing. Anti perfectly embodies a suicidal mindset, especially with the fact that Anti, by design, always has cuts on him. Dark is the most calm and patient, but also the most dangerous for that; because it's not as immediately noticeable as a problem. In fact, it's such a subconscious impulse that you never really notice how powerful those thoughts and feelings have gotten until they're overwhelming. It's an amalgamation of just pure repressed negativity; a person made of two betrayed souls seeking vengeance on the person who wronged them. Completely consumed by their bloodlust and hatred at this that they've become detached from any good from before that. All of those things just get pushed to the side, neglected, forgotten, all because of a series of things that started off small, then grew quickly and chaotically. There's enough control to try and work through it, but there's so much pressure and tension, and it's overwhelming and painful; knowing that it needs to be confronted but getting discouraged by what's already there and being unable to move on from past mistakes, to let go of past grief, to move past former relationships, because once it's done, there's no going back. Might be reading too much into it, but it's quite interesting how well these characters match up with these things.
How does every FREAKING ANIMATION YOU MAKE GET BETTER AND BETTER?!?! I just love the idea of Mark Jack and Ethan are playing the Ouija board together.....This is clever, magnificent, mind-blowing, and SO MANY MORE ADJECtiVES THAT I CAN'T NAME!!! Outstanding Job LIV :D!!!
If im being honest its too choppy to be an animation so its more of a smooth animatic, obviously since they're art style is detailed this would take too long so animatics are probably the best way to make these.
Mark seems like the type to square up against Dark after a while, Ethan would probably be leading them on a chase, and I can see Jack adopting the "no child left behind" strat.
They HAVE to see this! they HAVE to make another video! Mark needs to call jack and Ethan to make this a real thing!! Edit: seriously, I love this so much it sends shivers down my spine!
I liked the ending how Anti, Dark, and Blank turned into their shadow forms after jack touched the ouija board the music and the rest of the animation was amazing I give it five stars 👍👏👏

I really love this animatic! the whole energy of it is super cool! I also love how you've started to add more backgrounds/enviroments, it really adds a lot to the scene. Generally speaking I love all the action and emotion in your animatics, especially this one, and the storyline on this one was really cool and interesting. I know I am gushing a bit but I just think you're a really cool creator with equally as cool creations.

This idea came from the song "Kill the Lights" by Set It Off and my idea is that the Alter egos of Mark and Jack are kind of at war with each other (or just a serious rivalry that got out of hand) and after some time, the two groups are being led by Dark and Anti.... I'm pretty sure their friendship shattered along the way

Hey liv, I don't want to be a bother, but i have a new idea for you! This idea came from the song "Kill the Lights" by Set It Off and my idea is that the Alter egos of Mark and Jack are kind of at war with each other (or just a serious rivalry that got out of hand) and after some time, the two groups are being led by Dark and Anti.... I'm pretty sure their friendship shattered along the way
