In order for you not to get caught up you have to prove a lot of stuff like they’re gonna ask for a lot of information when they investigate you my advice would be to know exactly what they’re gonna ask for so you can falsify as much as you can if you do not own a business remember there are so many things they can ask you for and if you don’t have that information you stuck like chuck its only forgivable if you can prove what it says on the application and there are ways they can verify if its true so be careful.

I can’t believe so many people are willing to commit fraud. Knowing the high level risks. The thought of applying for one of those loans never crossed my mind. Not even once. I’m know a couple of people with legit businesses and didn’t get the money.
You don't have to have employees. A sole proprietorship or independent contractor can apply. You would pay yourself owner's compensation. The loan would be forgivable. But you have to have a Schedule C from your tax return which proves your gross income that you filed with the IRS. Rather simple, when it's legit.
Edit: And, what is Envy saying, 🙄 lol, smh... the PPP is, so to speak, the SBA. The SBA, Small Business Administration of the United States, is the agency that oversees the Paycheck Protection Program, aka the "PPP" acronym.

I am an accountant and people keep saying they're having a hard time getting loans which is not true. If, every year, you take a loss and make 0 profit (so you can avoid paying any taxes), then the government can't help you. The government is trying to replace money that you typically make. If you never pay taxes and claim you are always broke (and make 0), then why should the government give you money for claiming you make 0?
Now the fake businesses with their "draft tax returns" got all the money quickly and a lot of legit business got nothing.
How is no one talking about the fact that to get this loan ..when it was filed by whomever.
It was told to the goverment that this business made over 100000 for the past two years.
So even if they somehow manage to make it seem legit then they will owe the gov back taxes on this imaginary company.
The breakfast club shouldn’t judge someone who tries to finesse a system that is built for you to fail.

1:38 you'll slow. The PPP loan is an SBA loan. It's fully forgivable (free money) if you follow the rules.
The EIDL loan is also a SBA loan exception that is not forgivable (run them they coins)
If you are a uber/lyft/door dasher, you may qualify
If one lie about business they don't own it is fraud people are being prosecuted for small and big loans. There is a list online all people who took PPP loan with the amount listed.
