I just received this helmet the Trailhead version (painted), and the sizing is completely WRONG! I ordered the L size, which was supposed to be 59-60cm according to Scorpion website, but it was 58-59cm and runs very small! Not happy with this purchase!
I’ve got the 950. I hate the weight of it. The modular mechanics are heavy. I do like the scoop on the top of the helmet. I wish they had incorporated that in this helmet.
While technically they are the same base helmet some mods can be required of the brand to get DOT homologation here in the USA. If you're in the USA we always recommend purchasing the USA model so you have warranty coverage. Scorpion EXO is quite generous with a 5 year plan, protect your investment.
As far as I am aware this is a fibreglass lid NOT carbon fibre... it is carbon effect... quite misleading as it IS very light... you gotta ask yourself if you can really get a carbon lid for £250 sterling... I dont think so....more like £500-600 I may be wrong however and they may do 2 x versions but I have def just bought the fibreglass version...in africa twin colours.. very impressive lid for the money tho and rivals Klim arai and shoei on some levels...

Thanks for the feedback I was hesitating between the 2 sizes, my RF1200 is a Medium, but looks like this one will be a Large.

Yeah modulars are typical a bit fat. This XT9000 is certainly leaner and meaner. ETA to purchase end of this month.

Comm units come with adhesive tape so you can run the boom mic along to bottom of the helmet next to the speaker pocket,

I would recommend the XD-4 or the brand new XD-5.

My mistake... the XT IS the carbon version.... the ADF 9000 is the fibreglass version which DOES have rhe flip down inner visor... WINNER !

Just bought this and it has garbage foam for the side cheek protection. Very disappointed. You have 1/2 inch of protection between helmet and cheek. 😢
The air pump makes the pressure hard not comfortable. My old $100 Gmax has superior inside foam compared to this 😂.
