J’s one of those weirder characters for a trailer to focus on. Yes she *is* a character but to give her this *big* marketing push for the series finale? It’s perplexing. Especially given that the scenes *with* J in the trailer just gives her these worried/shocked looks.
I have 2 theories why she might be significant: First theory is that she fights Tecyn/Cynessa with the help of others, they don't succeed however and have leave the planet (and we did see a shuttle leaving a exploded planet in the trailer) J might be the one to help everyone get off since shes really the only one left who could drive the shuttle away smoothly if J finds the keys. (Would be a bittersweet ending) Or Theory 2 (which i really don't wanna happen) Cynessa/Tecyn is able to control J to work against her bidding (since she's still her administrator unlike N and V which sucks), The other characters see J as evil and fight her, she dies for some mid reason in the fight or gets defeated close to the ending, and then they escape by magically learning how to drive the shuttle at the end (the worst ending) my fear of this theory is intensified since they're seen on the channel banner together on the glitch channel
Things could not look any bleaker for any and all J fans out there. She's under Cyn's administration, her screentime is all but limited, and she likely will suffer an untimely demise. Despite all of that though, she will always remain one of the best characters in the show for how she initially kickstarted Uzi and by extension, the audiences connection to the show. J's journey will end smoothly, or so help me, we will get Justice for J.
Hey at least she has a purpose, Bing aside villain for cyn is better than sitting and doing absolutely nothing, but still it isn’t much, i honestly don’t get the hype for J, yes she’s better then N and V (a.k.a. my least favorite characters) but she doesn’t do anything, and I think that’s the only thing that makes her higher then these other two (opinion) I know that’s very hypocritical of me because my favorite character in TADC is Gangle (a character that does absolutely nothing) but at least she’s gonna have her own episode.

I dont know which part of the credits you are referring to but I only saw one J scene where she is destroying the original landing pod, which she destroys in episode 7, that end credits scene was probably just a recap I dont know if J is either repairing the landing pod or destroying since we never knew how J destroyed it, either a missle or a bomb, but in the end credits, we can see J on top of the landing pod with some sparks going off so she might be repairing it aswell? Who knows, it could be either

the reason the drones see humans as black is because they cannot remember what they look like in memories. we we’re seeing N’s memories. he only saw himself, V, J and cyn (and the other drones but I’m guessing that was because they are still drones and N sees a ton of drones) it’s obvious that it would be weird if N couldn’t see himself, and he has been with J and V for years probably. and considering that Cyn is a big charterer in the show, it wouldn’t make sense for her to be black (plsdontcallmeracistidontmeanitlikethat) that’s why the corpse of tessa is able to be seen. we saw her color. that’s because N was seeing her in real life, not a memory.
Holding my J plush watching this and covering her eyes hoping and praying to our lord and savior Liam Vickers that she gets a character arc and doesn't die (or dies for the character arc, if she truly must die)
seeing as J was wasted and thrown away for 5 out of the 7 episodes (Pilot and 5 don't count), it feels like regardless of if J has a large presence on screen in the finale, which who can say for certain if she even will, it just might not be enough. with all the stuff that's likely going to be packed into the finale, there probably isn't much room for a character like J to have much of anything, seeing as she's such an unimportant character to the story. even if she does do something like teaming up with Uzi and the crew to fight Cyn (and likely dying), it might not even be that big of an impact to the episode overall, like Doll or Alice's deaths where, like them, J would be quickly dispatched and the story would move on with little acknowledgement that she even died. they really should have utilized her character more, obviously. given that she's 1 of the 3 disassembly drones, even despite dying and coming back, she should have had a much more important role in the story. but they didn't do that, and now it's too late. only the finale remains to give justice to J. they should have done something with her so much sooner, like in episodes 6 or 7.
J has always been and always will be such an interesting case. And there are more than a few factors going in when it comes to this. -the runtime, and that’s a major one. So far Glitch with Meta Runner has shown that they’re willing to lengthen their finales -the fact that J has all this marketing honed in on her. Not Thad or Lizzie who we don’t even see. J might not be a main character but if she does get something going by the footage, even for the finale, I’d mostly be fine.
What if j killed tessa in the gala and cyn is using tessa skin so when j rebels against cyn cyn will show her what actually happened to tessa Evidence: when tessa enters the gala and cyn does her talking and stuff j is standing behind her and has the x on her screen like what the murdere drones had when they are in killing mod
It's the finale episode. She had absolutely no screen time even tho she is literally 1 of the 3 murder drones. This last episode I know for a fact won't do justice for her. 😕 Even if the last episode is gonna be 1 hour long, the amount of screen time she got is unforgivable. She had a lot of potential in this whole series.
Us fans are even happy she showed up in the trailer at all, but if she dies for some goofy ahh reason then ill be sad forever (I can already imagine how the doll and V fans felt when their characters died for seemingly pointless reasons)
Either J "knows", but believe it's still Tessa, or she will discover and Cyn will taunt her by revealing that it was J that got her hands dirty and force a flashback to that moment on her. Edit: also if the J plush promo is somewhat cannon, them J don't deal well with mistakes, and that would make hard to convince her of the truth, since she won't believe that she not only killed her friend but also is working with the drone that made her do it and is also cosplaying as Tessa.
I'll be prepared to make her a memorial 😭😭😭😭😭 but if she dies ill be so saddened by her death, doll and V wasn't as impactful to me since they weren't really my favorite characters but if J dies my eyes will be cosplaying waterfalls.
Also I think J was the one who killed Tessa. She was being controlled by Cyn and shut the door behind Tessa. Tessa was killed by J under the control of Cyn.
I think your theory of what will happen with J and Cyn in ep8 makes alot of sense but I would like to remind how random and unpredictable Liam is, I am both happy and sad that this show is concluding, I loved every moment of it.
I'm not sure if J will have a full character arc, but I believe J's role might be more significant than expected. J has been resurrected seemingly just for Episode 8. Given this and the crucial nature of her relationship with Tessa, J is likely to have considerable screen time, possibly even a dedicated sequence. While it's still possible that J might die-especially given what we know about the episode-it suggests that J could achieve at least partial redemption. I envision a scenario where J comes to terms with Tessa's death, which could be when J meets her own end.

Listening to this makes ME feel heartbroken at the show for treating my favorite character like this.....but you are right...and i will share the same feeling, if she does get a big blastoff moment to die as a regretful/loyal heroine rather then a worthless puppet/tool. Then i will be begrudginlgy consent with it. Even if ll still be heartbroken, even moreso when seeing the pain shell go through as she dies. 2:22 True that Cyn still has J's admin, but considering that when Cyn tried accessing N's, she had to be holding him, so there is a chance that Cyn can't remotely take control of J without needing to get a hold of her first, which gives J a fighting chance. 2:33 Cyn is wearing Tessa's corpse because in the memories episode, she promised Tessa that she will not discard her, just as the AbosolueSolver promised Cyn. 5:26 there is the chance of keeping J around as she and N are the last of the original group, meaning that N would be all that J has left to family, which might make her start treating him better. Giving her some much needed development. There is another thing that's working against J, and that is that Cyn has caused the deaths of two other antagonists, which were Alice and Doll. And since J had been an antagonist, Cyn will end up killing her as well. Another thing working against J is the image of Cyn about to eat a DD core. Which would most likely be J's, or possibly V's if she survived. We can only hope it's one of the cores that Alice had in the oven as those were still around. Personally, I think it's kind of pointless to kill J as 1. she's already been killed before and that it's been joked about her being killed multiple times, so killing her again would be just a bad joke. And 2. As J has said, effective drones were cloned more, and so even if Cyn is killed off, there could be a system in place where J is transferred to a new body every time she's killed off, making her death possibly pointless as she could transfer to a new body and since Cyn should be dead, she'd be free from her control.
I problem with J tries to find the spaceship keys, At the end of episode 7 Uzi sacrifices herself as soon as she sees the keys and uses the AS to throw them at N leaving him a chance to escape
Regardless of what will happen this will be one hell of a finale, We (May Have) lost V, we may lose J, and I’m concerned what will happen to N. Uzi may be the sole survivor
If the murder drones are being manipulated don’t they have the X for their eyes? In the episode home when J and Tessa storm the gala and cyn raises her fist in the air she controls all drones in the room and they all get the X on their eyes so maybe J isn’t getting manipulayed
J's character has a lot of potential, I wish we'd seen a lil more of her... I respect Liam's decision to end the series on a high note (like what Alex Hirsch did with Gravity Falls) but ngl I'm devastated my favorite series is ending so soon! I really hope we get more content in one form or another in the future 🙏
I have strong feeling that J will realize Tessa is not actually Tessa, but the solver cyn who killed her best friend and is wearing her corpse as a skin suit, and this will cause J to fight against the solver.

I have a reason why Cyn is useing Tessa's skin! It's so she can pass all of the "are you a robot?" test and all of the tests like that and if she is facing backwards then she can lead people to her and attack them from surprise

I found that the common theory is that J will be freed from Cyn’s control through memories. In this case, you bring up that J would remember her times with Tessa, and start to learn that Cyn is tricking her. I think that would make some somber character growth, as it shows that J is a try-hard at the end of the day, and just wants to prove herself. The fact that she would realize at the end of her life she was tricked with be a very tragic way to end her story! However, I remember hearing one theory that brings V back. In this theory, J and V would fight each other at least twice. Through these fights, V would try to convince J she’s doing something wrong, but J won’t listen, and will have to try to begrudgingly kill her. I imagine by the climax of that fight, V would spit out, “Look at what you’re doing! _Really_ look! If you go through with this, then you’re no better than Cyn!” This would ultimately break J and make her snap out of it, embracing V. But, then Cyn appears and demands to know why V isn’t dead yet, with J now seeing the truth. I enjoy both of these, this one here included! What do you think?
It would be nice to see J go through a short version of 5 stages of accepting the fact that she was manipulated by Cyn, like she will be in the whole episode with rest of the caharacters, but not taking the spot light by just sitting and go through reflection maybe and as the best ending for her character is taking a major role in killin Cyn or at least damaging her a lot and dying in the process. But it's just a perfect version J's fan fantasy and probably will never happen. (Also sorry for bad engilsh if you see it, it's not my first language)
I think I know who J is pointing the rocket at. It has to be N. Hear me out, in the Pilot episode J says: “N, you’re worthless and terrible, and if the company allowed it, I would straight up kill you myself!” Take note that at this point only N knows the truth of why the Disassembly Drones were deployed to Copper 9. J doesn’t; she still thinks the company is the one who sent them. And if someone was to allow J to kill someone, say, someone who worked with the company, J would definitely do it if given the go-ahead. Tescyn wants N and Uzi out of the way, and since J states she would kill N if allowed to, Tescyn would definitely give J permission to do so.
Honestly, I think I kinda like J more than Uzi for whatever weird reason somehow or something. In addition, I kinda like MD trio of J, N, and V more than some of the Worker Drones. I don't know why but I'd like to see more of the J vs. Uzi friendly rivalry as well as the decent friendship stuff between J and V stuff in season 2 if possibly necessary somehow. I don't know, just saying ok so yea haha.
If they decide to kill J, that would be a really disrespectful move from Glitch and Liam. But I think they mostly plan to give her more screentime and more development to her with this final episode.
Note: J might not even have her memories, in fact she might not even know who Tessa is just her boss. The reason she knows about what happened at the Elliott Manor was because she probably got a quick rundown from her. And the one that J's aiming a rocket at is most likely N, What if she does have her memories that could make the situation even worse, maybe N even brings up Tessa during the fight and she blows up at him, and the two get into an argument.
I highly doubt J is aiming the rocket at N, if she was she would literally have no remorse on her face whatsoever unlike how she looked in the trailer scenes, she literally tried to kill him before in the pilot, so I still believe she's aiming the rocket at Tecyn, but I do agree about her not having her memories. Uzi saved N and V from getting theirs deleted but not J, so I feel like the solver managed to delete her memories so that she wouldn't remember the gala or anything (making it more likely she doesn't know tessa is cyn) Cyn is also still Js admin, so she could literally control her at any time like Uzi was 💀

2:35 I feel like the robots can actually see the humans, we just see them in black in white for possibly 2 reasons 1. When we see humans, there from memories, in episode 5 we see they come from Ns memories, and due to cyn trying to take them down, his memories are fading and might not remember the humans 2. Humans are probably way more complicated to animate in a 3D animation program. Making them black and white could possibly save a lot of them of animating when this show focuses more on robots than humans themselves

Also about your theory. I think it's gonna be much different (if you guys don't wanna read it, don't read) So what I think is gonna happen at the start of EP 8. While Khan, Lizzy and Thad are about to start fight J. N will immediately land infront of these 4 trying to explain to them that they have no time for these games because the planet is about to get eaten. "J being J" will of course start thinking that N is just going crazy and is saying nonsense. N will then try to explain J that Tessa the one everyone was following, it wasn't actually Tessa it was CYN who wore her skin and pretended being her. J will of course still won't believe N thinking he just needs to cool down. N will try then to eventually convince J and then J will enter the space capsule to save Uzi and the whole planet. While rescuing Uzi, Uzi will try to remove the administrator CYN from J before CYN would use J against N, Uzi, Thad, Lizzy and Khan. In doing so CYN probably will trap Uzi, N and J in some kinda horror place to deal with them by herself. J will then start asking questions towards CYN, demanding to know if everything what N said was true, in doing so CYN will admit and then the whole battle thing happens. That's what I think is gonna happen in the episode 8.

seeing as J was wasted and thrown away for 5 out of the 7 episodes (Pilot and 5 don't count), it feels like regardless of if J has a large presence on screen in the finale, which who can say for certain if she even will, it just might not be enough. with all the stuff that's likely going to be packed into the finale, there probably isn't much room for a character like J to have much of anything, seeing as she's such an unimportant character to the story. even if she does do something like teaming up with Uzi and the crew to fight Cyn (and likely dying), it might not even be that big of an impact to the episode overall, like Doll or Alice's deaths where, like them, J would be quickly dispatched and the story would move on with little acknowledgement that she even died.
they really should have utilized her character more, obviously. given that she's 1 of the 3 disassembly drones, even despite dying and coming back, she should have had a much more important role in the story. but they didn't do that, and now it's too late. only the finale remains to give justice to J. they should have done something with her so much sooner, like in episodes 6 or 7.
It's sad to see that they completely wasted my second favourite character;(

J has always been and always will be such an interesting case. And there are more than a few factors going in when it comes to this.
-the runtime, and that’s a major one. So far Glitch with Meta Runner has shown that they’re willing to lengthen their finales
-the fact that J has all this marketing honed in on her. Not Thad or Lizzie who we don’t even see.
J might not be a main character but if she does get something going by the footage, even for the finale, I’d mostly be fine.
What if j killed tessa in the gala and cyn is using tessa skin so when j rebels against cyn cyn will show her what actually happened to tessa

It's the finale episode. She had absolutely no screen time even tho she is literally 1 of the 3 murder drones. This last episode I know for a fact won't do justice for her. 😕 Even if the last episode is gonna be 1 hour long, the amount of screen time she got is unforgivable. She had a lot of potential in this whole series.

Either J "knows", but believe it's still Tessa, or she will discover and Cyn will taunt her by revealing that it was J that got her hands dirty and force a flashback to that moment on her.
Edit: also if the J plush promo is somewhat cannon, them J don't deal well with mistakes, and that would make hard to convince her of the truth, since she won't believe that she not only killed her friend but also is working with the drone that made her do it and is also cosplaying as Tessa.

I think your theory of what will happen with J and Cyn in ep8 makes alot of sense but I would like to remind how random and unpredictable Liam is, I am both happy and sad that this show is concluding, I loved every moment of it.

I'm not sure if J will have a full character arc, but I believe J's role might be more significant than expected. J has been resurrected seemingly just for Episode 8. Given this and the crucial nature of her relationship with Tessa, J is likely to have considerable screen time, possibly even a dedicated sequence. While it's still possible that J might die-especially given what we know about the episode-it suggests that J could achieve at least partial redemption. I envision a scenario where J comes to terms with Tessa's death, which could be when J meets her own end.
Sigh. Listening to this makes ME feel heartbroken at the show for treating my favorite character like this.....but you are right...and i will share the same feeling, if she does get a big blastoff moment to die as a regretful/loyal heroine rather then a worthless puppet/tool. Then i will be begrudginlgy consent with it. Even if ll still be heartbroken, even moreso when seeing the pain shell go through as she dies.
At the same time im afraid that she will just get killed off right away and thrown aside for the 'big heroes' to steal the stage and ruin J entirely.....that i am really scared about and if that happens then the show is completely dead to me and i never want anything to do with it again

2:22 True that Cyn still has J's admin, but considering that when Cyn tried accessing N's, she had to be holding him, so there is a chance that Cyn can't remotely take control of J without needing to get a hold of her first, which gives J a fighting chance.
2:33 Cyn is wearing Tessa's corpse because in the memories episode, she promised Tessa that she will not discard her, just as the AbosolueSolver promised Cyn.
5:26 there is the chance of keeping J around as she and N are the last of the original group, meaning that N would be all that J has left to family, which might make her start treating him better. Giving her some much needed development.
There is another thing that's working against J, and that is that Cyn has caused the deaths of two other antagonists, which were Alice and Doll. And since J had been an antagonist, Cyn will end up killing her as well.
Another thing working against J is the image of Cyn about to eat a DD core. Which would most likely be J's, or possibly V's if she survived. We can only hope it's one of the cores that Alice had in the oven as those were still around.
Personally, I think it's kind of pointless to kill J as 1. she's already been killed before and that it's been joked about her being killed multiple times, so killing her again would be just a bad joke. And 2. As J has said, effective drones were cloned more, and so even if Cyn is killed off, there could be a system in place where J is transferred to a new body every time she's killed off, making her death possibly pointless as she could transfer to a new body and since Cyn should be dead, she'd be free from her control.
I problem with J tries to find the spaceship keys, At the end of episode 7 Uzi sacrifices herself as soon as she sees the keys and uses the AS to throw them at N leaving him a chance to escape

J's character has a lot of potential, I wish we'd seen a lil more of her... I respect Liam's decision to end the series on a high note (like what Alex Hirsch did with Gravity Falls) but ngl I'm devastated my favorite series is ending so soon! I really hope we get more content in one form or another in the future 🙏

I have strong feeling that J will realize Tessa is not actually Tessa, but the solver cyn who killed her best friend and is wearing her corpse as a skin suit, and this will cause J to fight against the solver.

I really like The segment where you explain how J will die, sadly this is written by Liam, and I don’t think J’s death will be good, just like a lot of deaths, but you know what, I think you vanity should write MD, in your MD theory trailer videos, your theories are actually better then MDs actual writing.

I hope J lives to the end. They wouldn’t have to dedicate too much time to her if she does, just show her having a look that communicates to us that she’s mourning Tessa and now has to face the fact she’s without someone to take orders from and now has to forge her own path.
I have a reason why Cyn is useing Tessa's skin! It's so she can pass all of the "are you a robot?" test and all of the tests like that and if she is facing backwards then she can lead people to her and attack them from surprise

I found that the common theory is that J will be freed from Cyn’s control through memories.
In this case, you bring up that J would remember her times with Tessa, and start to learn that Cyn is tricking her. I think that would make some somber character growth, as it shows that J is a try-hard at the end of the day, and just wants to prove herself. The fact that she would realize at the end of her life she was tricked with be a very tragic way to end her story!
However, I remember hearing one theory that brings V back. In this theory, J and V would fight each other at least twice. Through these fights, V would try to convince J she’s doing something wrong, but J won’t listen, and will have to try to begrudgingly kill her.
I imagine by the climax of that fight, V would spit out, “Look at what you’re doing! _Really_ look! If you go through with this, then you’re no better than Cyn!” This would ultimately break J and make her snap out of it, embracing V. But, then Cyn appears and demands to know why V isn’t dead yet, with J now seeing the truth.
I enjoy both of these, this one here included! What do you think?
It would be nice to see J go through a short version of 5 stages of accepting the fact that she was manipulated by Cyn, like she will be in the whole episode with rest of the caharacters, but not taking the spot light by just sitting and go through reflection maybe and as the best ending for her character is taking a major role in killin Cyn or at least damaging her a lot and dying in the process. But it's just a perfect version J's fan fantasy and probably will never happen. (Also sorry for bad engilsh if you see it, it's not my first language)
I think I know who J is pointing the rocket at. It has to be N. Hear me out, in the Pilot episode J says: “N, you’re worthless and terrible, and if the company allowed it, I would straight up kill you myself!” Take note that at this point only N knows the truth of why the Disassembly Drones were deployed to Copper 9. J doesn’t; she still thinks the company is the one who sent them. And if someone was to allow J to kill someone, say, someone who worked with the company, J would definitely do it if given the go-ahead. Tescyn wants N and Uzi out of the way, and since J states she would kill N if allowed to, Tescyn would definitely give J permission to do so.
Honestly, I think I kinda like J more than Uzi for whatever weird reason somehow or something. In addition, I kinda like MD trio of J, N, and V more than some of the Worker Drones. I don't know why but I'd like to see more of the J vs. Uzi friendly rivalry as well as the decent friendship stuff between J and V stuff in season 2 if possibly necessary somehow. I don't know, just saying ok so yea haha.
If they decide to kill J, that would be a really disrespectful move from Glitch and Liam. But I think they mostly plan to give her more screentime and more development to her with this final episode.

Note: J might not even have her memories, in fact she might not even know who Tessa is just her boss. The reason she knows about what happened at the Elliott Manor was because she probably got a quick rundown from her. And the one that J's aiming a rocket at is most likely N,
What if she does have her memories that could make the situation even worse, maybe N even brings up Tessa during the fight and she blows up at him, and the two get into an argument.
I highly doubt J is aiming the rocket at N, if she was she would literally have no remorse on her face whatsoever unlike how she looked in the trailer scenes, she literally tried to kill him before in the pilot, so I still believe she's aiming the rocket at Tecyn, but I do agree about her not having her memories. Uzi saved N and V from getting theirs deleted but not J, so I feel like the solver managed to delete her memories so that she wouldn't remember the gala or anything (making it more likely she doesn't know tessa is cyn) Cyn is also still Js admin, so she could literally control her at any time like Uzi was 💀
I don’t know what the future holds for J, but I DO know that whatever happens is probably going to make me cry over a show for the first time in a while

2:35 I feel like the robots can actually see the humans, we just see them in black in white for possibly 2 reasons
1. When we see humans, there from memories, in episode 5 we see they come from Ns memories, and due to cyn trying to take them down, his memories are fading and might not remember the humans
2. Humans are probably way more complicated to animate in a 3D animation program. Making them black and white could possibly save a lot of them of animating when this show focuses more on robots than humans themselves

I think it's gonna be much different (if you guys don't wanna read it, don't read)
So what I think is gonna happen at the start of EP 8. While Khan, Lizzy and Thad are about to start fight J. N will immediately land infront of these 4 trying to explain to them that they have no time for these games because the planet is about to get eaten. "J being J" will of course start thinking that N is just going crazy and is saying nonsense. N will then try to explain J that Tessa the one everyone was following, it wasn't actually Tessa it was CYN who wore her skin and pretended being her. J will of course still won't believe N thinking he just needs to cool down. N will try then to eventually convince J and then J will enter the space capsule to save Uzi and the whole planet. While rescuing Uzi, Uzi will try to remove the administrator CYN from J before CYN would use J against N, Uzi, Thad, Lizzy and Khan. In doing so CYN probably will trap Uzi, N and J in some kinda horror place to deal with them by herself. J will then start asking questions towards CYN, demanding to know if everything what N said was true, in doing so CYN will admit and then the whole battle thing happens.
That's what I think is gonna happen in the episode 8.
