Hope everyone enjoys these projects, they were a lot of fun to make and pretty easy to batch out. They make great gifts when visiting family for the Holidays.
Brother, can I just tell you what a great job y'all are doing on the are doing on the channel.(If you're doing all this on your own, without your wife's help, then it's absolutely fantastic!)😎
Just stumbled across your channel recently. Love your easy explanations, showing us your mistakes, and how you would improve projects. It helps me out tremendously as a newer woodworker. Subscribed, and cant wait to watch your other videos!!
Interesting small projects. Thanks for sharing. Did you find out what was the problem with the band saw? If it's only not holding the tension, there can be a problem with screws and/or bearings that don t hold the blade in the correct direction.
So the tensioning mechanism doesn't actually appear broken, it's just bottoming out, without properly tightening the blade. Plus it seems to be missing pieces that hold the blade in proper alignment. It's hard to say what's missing because I bought it used years ago and it wasn't running great then, but I made it work. Thanks for watching!
@@boydstongrove I must admit that I didn't watch the tortilla press video, until half an hour ago. The main problem occurred very suddenly. At first I thought that the blade broke, but in that case you can't do anything any more. The tension mechanism itself is quite strong, that doesn't break off just like that. Nowadays you can find everything on the internet. If you have the exact type of the band saw, you should be able to find the user manual as well (I guess you don't have one) For sure there are pictures which show where bearings and other things that keep the blade in place. The upper part with bearings should be only a few millimetres above the wood you are sawing. When did you last time change the saw blade? Every band saw has it own specific length. There is some tolerance but not much. My saw blade should be 1400 mm. I'm sure that when I would have a blade that is 1420 mm, I won't get it at good tension. Good luck on having the band saw repaired. I'm sure it won't cost much and spare parts will be eventually easy to get. But at first you need to find out what the problem is.
Absolutely agree! I have to admit that sometimes it haste, I do not suit up in the proper PPE. I need to slow down and get better at that. Thanks for watching!
Ok, this is good to know. I had a funny feeling I was on the wrong track, but my local store didn't have anything different. I'll put in a little research, because I really like using the scroll saw. Thanks!

Great small projects, enjoy your videos, but when watching you with the router (no safety glasses) I said that’s an accident waiting to happen.

You’re using the wrong scroll saw blades, otherwise this would have been a breeze to cut… you make some beautiful pieces.. great job!
