Why does everyone play the music so loud. And why put music on in the first place. This is an instructional video. It's not a music video. You undermind the purpose of your video. My opinion. Thank you for the work and ideas.
You can cheat and clear the waste in the handles on the second project with the drill press and then clean them up with the chisels and shinto unless you just like using the chisels. That's the way I do all of mine, clear it with the drill press as much as possible then refine with chisels or files.
Haha, thanks for the tip! I guess I just have a soft spot for chisels, they make me feel like a true woodworking wizard. But hey, if the drill press can help me cheat a little, why not give it a whirl? Cheers!
Newb question. Were you doing the rips on the first project with the small boards on the band saw because it is safer than using the table saw? That paper products holder is terrific. There are lots of options there for customization and personalization. They're all good projects but that one was the most inspiring.
Not meant to last long. Sell more. You don't make things to last as your old stuff will compete with your new stuff. Car makers use this business model.

@@RodriguezWoodWorks Not my explanation but does give you some idea:-------Gluing a wood joint is important for several reasons: 1. **Strength**: Wood glue creates a strong bond between pieces of wood, helping to hold them together securely. This is crucial for ensuring the structural integrity of the piece, especially in furniture, cabinetry, or woodworking projects that need to endure stress. 2. **Precision**: Glueing helps align the parts of a joint accurately, ensuring that the pieces fit together snugly. This precise fit enhances the overall appearance and stability of the work. 3. **Durability**: A well-glued joint, when done correctly, can last longer than mechanical fasteners like screws or nails. It forms a bond that, once dried, often becomes stronger than the wood itself. 4. **Aesthetics**: Gluing helps maintain a clean, smooth surface. Unlike screws or nails, glue is not visible once it dries, leading to a more polished and professional appearance. 5. **Flexibility**: Wood glue allows for some degree of adjustment before it sets, giving you time to correct misalignments during the assembly process. In woodworking, gluing is often essential for creating tight, seamless joints that hold up over time, improving both the function and appearance of the final piece.

So I’m practically new to woodworking, but why is glue important, if I can nail, staple, or screw everything in? Honest question.
