Seems like taking the plunge and travelling to other countries is far safer than staying in India for women.

Are you crazy in south east asian countries they kidnap women in car if she is walking alone
Atleast women in india can travel alone atleast till 10 in train in most of the metro city also you could see women at street food location and at certain places still 2 Pm while this is not the case with muslim countries

@@Ani_Blitz007 @quizudita you have to also account for india 1.4 billion people. One state Uttar Pradesh has more people than Brazil, russia, BD individually. Crime rate wise we stands at 90th position. Just check indian NRI crime rate in foreign countries and you will find indians to have lower crime/ grape rate in almost all the western countries. Lower than natives. I think india needs better education for our rural dispora (they lack civic sense and have no knowledge how to behave outside but im confident enough that genz boys have good civic sense atleast in tier 1 and 2 cities. Old people needs to re-educated and our education system needs to introduce chapters about civic sense.

What's the point? If we girls can't go out at night in India. We really need something like "death for death"

Well, men has "dhaai kilo ka haat", they don't need paper sprays in case you are wondering. Have you ever seen a lion roaming with a stick to protect himself ?Women are tend to be soft, the nature made them that way. Their bone structure, overall strength is not at all like men. You can easily understand that by the difference in their weights. Women are not made by the nature for fight, for hard work. So it is very unlikely for a woman to fight defend herself. But they have to, atleast nowadays. Specially how the world is now, not safe for neither men nor women. Hence all women should take self defence class

It sounds as if she is speaking to all the men alive on the planet Earth. I feel so bad for her and for every single woman who suffrers this disgusting act of molesting, harrasing, teasing, passing vulgar comments trying to touch. I am and Indian and feels so bad that where the country is moving towards nowadays. The rape cases are not being solved quickly the rapist are getting into any political party or seeking help from one of those out there to keep themselves safe. I feel like telling sorry to every woman out there, what all they suffer because of being a woman. Respect to all of them irrespective of religion. Yes, men gets attracted to women but it doesn't mean that we have to be so cheap and disrespectful to them. Men should think about their women those who our sitting in their homes, moms, sisters, wifes, daughters if they be in the same situation? This is the only thing which can stop a man, but he should have respect for his women.

    When you are Alone... ????
When two or three people are together... They feel secure.
    If alone...
They have to contact a third person for help. That's not possible or trustworthy.
Nobody will come forward to help a stranger or a person in trouble because it's risk taking.
    So... If you are alone..
    1. Keep yourself busy talking over phone.
    2. Prank with a toy gun to save yourself.
    3. As well known... Pepper spray.
    4. Raise alarm in case of trouble... Help Help...
    5. Make some genuine instant friends with women.
    6. Travel with women copassengers
    7. Call the mobile police who do their duty in their limits
    8. Learn some martial arts.
    9. Use something that you have in your bag for self defence.
    10. Keep chanting bhajans, slokas & be religious.

Everything is so disgusting right now. I am watching every video , commenting on it to unison my voice after the horrible doctor case of Kolkata. Whole childhood was spent in checking whether the clothes are 'appropriate' or not , whether time of going out is ' right' or not ,whether person sitting next to you is good or not and that's only when I am adult because in younger times I could not travel even to nearer areas on my own because of all this . Like your life is dependent on some stranger's actions!! A kid is treated as some ' body 'before a human being! Why a girl can't live like a conscious being ? No freedom ,feeling trapped. What kind of growth can we expect if half of a human race is dumped!
