I am in accounting. I have been avoiding hiring employees. Because I thought I am in a marketing business. And I did hit the wall in growth. Thank you Alex
I've listened to you for a long time and sort of faded away but either I'm in a different spot or your content has exploded with golden nuggets. I can't stop listening. Thanks for all you put into making these videos happen.
Had a similar thought with my public speaking training business. Thought it was about getting clients to become better speakers, but really it was about making others see them as credible. Nuanced but made a huge difference to how we market the business.
Alex will go down as one of the best entrepreneurs of our generation. This value is so so high. His ability to articulate business is unlike anyone I have ever learnt from and had been a huge influence on my life as an entrepreneur. See you at the top. I’m all in and have been for years .
To summary 1. Understand what business you are actually in: mc donalds ceo said i am not in hamburger business i am in real estate business. Find out which critical criteria of your business that would unlock your ultimate potential +100 m and beyond 2. Focus on making that : when you find out the important thing. İt might be a very new problem, or something that you didn't expect if you just do that and put the work in you will make a generational wealth. 3. Dont get distracted: it might take years to solve that thing but when you do solve it on the other side of the wall a big chunk of gold is waitin for you. So stick with it and think about the advantages you will have over other entrepreneurs when you have a decade more experience in that industry.
As a musician/small-time artist, this video is extremely helpful because I have a tendency to be more emotionally tied to my products (music and courses for guitarists) and have had a hard time seeing what the business truly is.
Wife: You seem to love this guy. You are always watching his stuff. I wonder why he's always wearing a cap, flannel plaid shirt over a tank top. Oh, that thing on his nose is new, isn't it... Me: Babe, you've just understood and described branding at its best, which is just one of the many things the guy is great at... Thank you for sharing your wisdom in business Alex ... Faith, passion, consistency, perseverance...
Alex, I usually sleep at this time, but I saw that you just published a video and decided to stay up and watch it. You're continuously dropping video after video, and I feel like I'm getting all the top-secret business knowledge and premium-quality coaching just from TH-cam. Thanks, Alex
me same as you, i stayed up for Alex cause he is always beneficial and he always shows honesty! no filter at all and i always got upgraded after watching his content anywhere! ❤
I feel like Alex Hormozi and Steven He would get along great. “Why isn’t my business doing better?” “You’re a failure!” Except Alex is encouraging about it 😊
Lmao I freaking love the way you explain things Alex. The dating analogy for your business. That was perfect, had me literally laughing out loud. You're freaking awesome 🥰🫶🙏
I love how brilliant Alex when it comes to understanding the essential. He seemed to really values efficiency and effectivity, and saw marriage with the right person could be the vehicle. So much different than Orion the Psyc. who keeps teaching delulu aspect of men and lower down marriage and women's value, because he saw it from self centreness & his economic perspectives, and not like Alex who saw marriage as a methods and highly valueing Leila, and both build each other without exploitation. Out of topics, but always admire Alex deep understanding on things
As someone who grew up with an absent father figure, could you do a tutorial on spotting good women? I think this lesson from you and your marriage would help people like me. Thank you for all your efforts and content. You do inspire to keep going even when the whole world seems to have stopped. Big hug from a younger brother out there.
When this guy explained business growth with simple words - do better, more, new - I knew I was in the right source of information I am developer and recently was thinking about starting a team and open a business but then I realized I'm not good at mentoring beginner devs, I tried mentoring, then I saw my skills aren't that good to be team lead for big scale projects Now I'm working on improving my skills and creating knowledge base that I hope helps me to build the best team I want in future So yes it really was true, unless you're doing something better don't think about doing that thing in a bigger scale
I'm 21, about to be 22. Working 2 jobs; Amazon Delivery, & assistant manager at Gamestop. Making roughly 50k and trying to get out of 8k in debt. Thank you for the motivation and the drive to do what I love!
As an artist, this really resonated with me :)) I thought freelancing was a business about illustrating, but as it is turning out, it's more the business of cold emails and proposals 😂
If I've learned anything over the years from Alex is that the grass always looks greener on the other side (cus there's 10 tonnes of manure you can't see yet). Glad I'm staying focused on chipping away at my brick wall every day.
Alex, please put together a deeper dive on this topic. Really fascinating on identifying what business you’re really in and how to build it from there (ie talent recruiting for professional services). How do we get there and unlock that to grow.
I swear the universe has its ways of doing things. Every single piece of content Alex has dropped, starting from $100M Offers book till today, couldn’t have come at the MOST PERFECT time. It’s like, I become aware of a constraint in my business or limiting belief… Shortly after Alex comes through with THE PERFECT SOLUTION TO MY EXACT PROBLEM!
I love woman in the red dress segment😂 I do remember my single days and all the bs that went into peacocking. Im so grateful for the relationship Im in rn, she’s my rock bc she let me marry my current biz 👌 more solid advice from Alex
As a B2B business selling Alternative Finance at this point I am working on scaling my marketing and sales as of now I believe that’s the business however after watching this video Im wondering if a brick wall is going to emerge from the horizon when I go to the next level and actually I’m excited to see what that will be!
Great lessons in this video .. I'll recommend this video to that business owner who is fully stucked in his business 😕 just watch it and get your next move 📈👍

I had a cleaning business that I started because I liked to clean, and I liked making the customers happy with the results. I hated hiring and finding good employees to do the job. I started really disliking the business. I am now pursuing my dream of being an artist. Others seem to love my art, but I can’t figure out what problem I’m solving. What does an artist solve?
business marriage analogy is awesome! Stop dating your business and get married to it :))) Thank you Alex! in another perspective i will write what i realised recently. most humans marry other people while giving up their dreams, instead of getting married with their own dreams. So i will not get married with another person and divorce my dreams, but my life partner has same direction and enjoy the joruney together.
there are a lot of millionaires/mentors out there that give free content on on how to get rich. I strongly feel Alex is different because he "REALLY REALLY" wants you to get rich. I take pride in being a person without biased opinions (I'm right sometimes, I'm wrong more often) and this is one of those times where I, without doubt, know that I am right. And maybe Alex speaks too fast cus he feels there's only so much truth he can deliver, because life is short (please pardon my English)
Im in graphic design services, and sometimes I think business owners really don't care how does their business looks and feels to their clients How can I sell something that people don't even care about? Just swapped all of my last ETH and swapped it into XAI65K. Already up a little bit. Unfortunately I have some other junk staked which won’t free up for a while. Still now I am on the train!
6:50 he likes real estate better than he liked the gym. See sometimes you like a business better than another. He liked investing in real estate better than the gym business.
I’m 20, recently moved states with some friends and ended up 6k in debt after being in between jobs, and having to get a car and do maintenance on it, any advice to get out of this hole I’m in? I’m working two jobs both at around 15/hr, getting 50-60 hours a week, and at this rate it’ll take a year and half to pay it all off, but I’m supposed to go back to school in a couple months. I’d love any advice.
A bit of unsolicited advice: try and look for problems that other businesses/people are solving that you think you could do a better job of solving. This is what helped me figure out what business I wanted to start.
the time you're wasting trying to find the perfect idea, is time you're losing not getting better at running businesses. Just solve specific problems and go from there

Lol so true, he just keeps reminding him self

The part about the cleaning business is exactly what I do. I had to double check we hadn’t met before because the details were eerie lol
The irony in your name being Logan 🤣
You’re on fire with these videos! Keep it comin.

Alex, thank you for all the tidbits of knowledge.. It has been enlightening and very useful.. Keep up the content that delivers results to all of us!
best educational video for business on the internet, keep it up Alex, you helped alot and heeps me on track as a 16 years old

That was one of the best of Hormozi so far😂❤

People in the billboard business often think they’re in advertising when they’re really in commercial real estate.

Hi Alex!!! I think it would be amazing if you could make a system or teach us how to find the constraint in our business
Can make more videos on these business types 😮

I love the creative advertising with the nose piece.
What a great metaphor!! I will marry my business 😊

Physique looking nice bro
Great video Alex! This really helped a lot!
That dating analogy is perfect 🤣.

I can not think of a good business idea to save my life. If I had a good idea. I'd go for it. I'm just spinning my wheels. I'm stuck.
Start by figuring out what you’re good at . And continue to sharpen that skill
A bit of unsolicited advice: try and look for problems that other businesses/people are solving that you think you could do a better job of solving. This is what helped me figure out what business I wanted to start.
Sorry but that is a lie. Your just afraid. Pick one of your top three ideas and go for it for at least three years.
What do you feel you would need to get more clarity on this ?
