@dariang4725 Ha! It's very clear that YOU know nothing about the case. I encourage you to read "JonBenet" by Steve Thomas...one of the leasing detectives on the case. He paints a very clear picture that it was someone in the family who killed JonBenet.

After reading quite a bit, I’m convinced that the older brother was molesting her and her death was an accident or purposely done by him. The parents covered it up to save their son so they wouldn’t have to lose both children.
Yup. People who don’t realize this have only ever listened to Jon’s side of the story or the tv specials and never read the actual evidence or heard anything about SA in families and among children. Insane how much time and money continues to be wasted on the lies
And why did the killer use patsys pad, patsys felt tip pen, leave the note where only patsy would find it, use patsys paintbrush, and have the same language and writing tendencies of patsy, “hence” the overuse of patsy’s exclamation points! Oh and patsy the painter used the same kind of duct tape on the back of her paintings etc etc etc! Not to mention patsys fingerprints on the bowl, glass and wine cellar door.
The killer was in the house while they were gone. He planned on kidnapping JonBenèt but accidentally killed her b4 he could take her. He had plenty of time to write the note and see John's bonus laying on the desk. He put the note on the stairs b4 he went to JonBenèt after he killed her he escaped leaving the note there.
I’ve never had a strong opinion about this case, I was very young when it happened. Now, hearing that interview from Patsy, something catch my attention. When they tell her “we have scientific evidence against you”, she continued secure in her position. I think someone guilty would start asking questions, wanting to know what they have on them. She was like whatever you have, is not me.
Because the killer was in the house while they were at dinner. He found John's bonus check on the desk and used Patsy's tablet to write the long note. He probably planned to kidnap JonBenèt but killed her b4 he could do so.. He had already placed the note on the stairs b4 he went to JonBenèt. After killing her he hid her body and escaped out the window leaving the note on the stairs.
@@joegordon2915 Patsy’s police interrogation was literally filled with instance after instance of her responding with terse, to-the-point responses. That, my friend , is video evidence that is 180 degrees opposed to your flippant remark here…
The note said explicitly and forcefully NOT to tell anyone or call anyone and that the house was being watched. And what did they do? They called everyone under the sun and had tons of people over immediately. She didn’t even mention to the police to keep it quiet.
That little girl was killed by the brother or mom, probably accidentally, then Patsy went about starting to stage it as a kidnapping. The intent was to move the body outside the home. However, at some point, John woke up and he had Patsy call the police.
Whenever I start to doubt the family had anything to do with it, I always go back to the ransom letter. Nobody would've wrote that in the house except someone who lived there.
How about the theory, that intruder did the crime BUT the parents thought it was B, so Patsy wrote the ransom letter and they messed up the crime scene inviting folks over etc, later on they realized it wasn't B but they couldn't anymore tell the whole truth. The Body Language Panel has mentioned this possibility.
Did Patsy find JonBenet dead and think Burke did it, so she wrote the note to protect her son? Maybe it was an intruder, but Patsy erroneously thought Burke did it? So she tried to protect him?
- The notepad, the pen, the materials used to make the weapon (& assault her) - it all came from inside the house. This would be consistent with an accident & rushed overnight coverup attempt. - The “first draft” of the ransom note began with “Mr & Mrs Ramsey”, likely indicating both parents involvement in composing it. It was later changed to “Mr. Ramsey” only, possibly in an attempt to distance Mrs. Ramsey from her involvement in the entire thing (consistent with a husband protecting his wife). - The ransom note is all about John, & Patsy’s handwriting couldn’t be ruled out by all handwriting experts. This also points to both parents being involved in composing it…John dictates it & she writes it. - The ransom note was so long it took 20-30 minutes minimum to write. It takes 20m just to copy/rewrite it by hand (without the ‘thinking time’ needed to actually compose it). If it’s a kidnapping you don’t need to say a lot; if it’s a coverup then you do… - This is one of the only cases where a ransom note & deceased victim are found in the same house. It’s basically unprecedented. - The contradiction of the note & body existing in the same house…becomes more explainable if there was an accident/coverup - followed by a disagreement between the parents about removing the body from the house overnight. The mother could’ve changed her mind & didn’t want the child placed out in the winter cold somewhere. - John is the one who finds the body. Getting the DNA match would be interesting, but I’ll only believe it when that person also has no alibi & fully confesses.
Who ever did it snuck in threw the basement when they with friends and hid in the basement and wrote the note while they waited for the Ramseys to come home as to make police think it was a kidnap for ransom waited for everyone to fall asleep tried to take her out of the basement window couldn’t get her out so he did his plan right there in the basement and hit her over the head and left there was no snow in the backyard so no foot prints people have screamed in her bed room while other were in the master bed room and they haven’t heard anything
The killer was in the house for hours able to find the amount of Johns bonus laying on the desk. He wrote the note while they were gone, waited for them to return and go to bed. He placed the note on the stairs and planned to kidnap JonBenet but something got out of hand and he killed her b4 he could take her. He escaped and didn't remove the note from the stairs. Not rocket science, just logic.
@SC…….. depends who the DNA belongs to. If it’s a criminal who was located in Boulder on the date of the crime with no alibi, that brings back intruder theory. If it has a more innocent explanation then that puts the focus back on the family. Have to wait & see. Just because there’s foreign DNA doesn’t mean that it automatically belongs to the person who is responsible.
Has there ever been another case where an intruder entered a home, assaulted and killed a child, and then left the house? I sure don’t remember such a case. Usually the child is removed and found else where.
Literally tons, Richard Ramirez was literally known for this MO. It might not have necessarily been children, but there are thousands of cases like this. Ted Bundy did it at an FSU sorority house, and heck even the Idaho murders which are recent. The person who committed this crime is most definitely one of the pedos who were hunting at those beauty pageant contest. SEVERAL mothers of girls in those pageants said that creepy men were showing up and watching. Men who had no ties to the recitals. With no check ins, unfortunately this was easy pickens for these sickos. Girls in the same pageants were attacked in the night, a few weeks before the Ramsays but the mother woke up and fought off the attacker. Boulder went with statistics, but ignored the actual evidence. You don’t have more than once incident like this, and them not be connected. That is, unless you think the Ramsays were going around at night and attacking others in boulder.
Putting aside the question of the guilt or innocence of the parents, it makes me sick to see a young child dolled up and made up as an adult. It is exploitation of your own child, pure and simple, making your child a target for pedophiles.
Just found out: Handwriting analysis: Forensic analysis of the handwriting on the note further added to the suspicion, with some experts suggesting similarities to Patsy Ramsey's writing.
It would if they had taken the body. But storing her in the basement, after sitting in the house and writing that 2.5 page note? No. You have time for that, you can take the body with you. Also if this was a stranger, they would have to have been all over that house, and no evidence whatsoever of it? That doesn't fly. And yeah, there were too many similarities to Patsy's handwriting to be a coincidence.
Not really, as trust in the Boulder police at the time was pretty low given how badly they botched the investigation and were claiming to have evidence they didn't have regarding fibers.
I used to think something was wrong about the family... But watching this episode now, that actually showed me how much they loved her! They have grief written all over their faces... It's so weird that the internet mob wants to turn them into scapegoats.
The family(especially the mom) has always given me bad vibes in this case. I just can't shake the chills I get when I see her smiling that weird creepy fake smile starting at 15:40 during the interview. Also did anyone notice at 16:39 she says "the body" I feel like that's a poor choice of words. Sounds so distant and cold. I feel like if that was my loved one I wouldnt say "the body" I feel like I'd say "omgsh my baby" or something like that. Idk I know everyone handles these situations differently I just have this feeling I can't shake that the family is involved. Whether that's mom, dad or brother and everyone is coverung something up. Idk cases like these make me wish I was a detective with all the resources at my finger tips to investigate it myself.
@@theoryofpersonality1420DNA was contaminated by the family cause the cops let them find her and hug her body….contaminated and cleared are two different things
@@theoryofpersonality1420DNA did not clear the family. Their DNA was not found on the body or at the crime scene. A DA years later “cleared” the Ramseys but that was a formal investigative process. They are not cleared, if new evidence was uncovered that pointed to any one of the Ramseys in the death of their daughter they would be charged.
@@theoryofpersonality1420Not true again. DNA not found does not mean cleared. And Team Ramsey levels lawsuits at anyone that dares to speak out. Didn’t seem to file a lawsuit against famous medical examiner Cyril Wecht who spoke openly about his theories and findings regarding the SA of JonBenet. John Ramsey knows that would have opened it up for cross examination and force him to answer questions.
She said: "This case ruined us financially and emotionally." In that order. The two of them are just strikingly cold, controlled and well behaved and not in touch with their own emotions.
As much as it looks bad, having them be materialistic and not normal with how somebody is expected to react when their daughter is found, murdered, it does not mean that they did it.
Whether they did it or not, they definitely act weird and suspiciously. There's a reason still to this day people think they did it. They are odd ducks. Something feels so off.
The cops should have been put in jail for the absolute horrific way they handled the entire case! So sad for a family to suffer the ignorance of a cop pointing the finger! Pray for the family to get this solved! 18 years of hell..... shameful!
What about the DA who blocked the PD from doing their job? The DA gave Ramseys atty all the police files, refused search warrants, made them release the body before they were ready to, wouldn't allow them to bring Ramseys in for questioning then let their atty control the interviews....
don't forget the parents did not do their job in securing their home, though. Jon broke that cellar door window weeks prior to the Dec 26th tragedy and knew his home was NOT SAFE for a long time. One cannot overlook this detail however it plays into this case. This was not an accident. I am not saying the parents are murderers, I'm just saying they did not protect their child their full ability and they had more than the means to do so.
@@goodpure1154 You sound like a complete goofball! A lot of people forget to fix things around their home. To blame the victims for not fixing a window is stupid.
As a native English speaker (from England) AND I am not pointing the finger at anyone as I quite clearly have no idea who the person responsible is/was but “we have a kidnapping” strikes me as such a strange thing to say, it’s possible that this phrase is lost in translation, is it the kind of thing that an American person would say? RIP JonBenét ❤
As an American I believe most would say, "My daughter is missing," or "I believe my daughter was kidnapped because I have found a ransom note and we can't find her."
Idk...in times if extreme stress, you can end up talking strangely. She could have just used "we" as in reference to herself & her husband. "We have a kidnapping" just means we as a couple have this situation going on her which is a kidnapping. Sure, it's a weird choice of words but we don't know how we would react in a situation like this..
Patsy always comes across as fake and areogant in her way of speaking. Her personality is the one thing that always makes me question the family. Not saying it was her/them.
@WarriorOfScience that still doesn't seem conclusive to me (not an expert on the crime scene or DNA) if they had people in and out of their house for the holidays and had spent the night at a holiday party... It makes me question. Couldn't anyone's DNA have gotten on anything at anytime... 🤷🏽♀️ Like I said I'm not an expert... Just sharing thoughts. Also I don't trust what John Ramsey said she WAS wearing when she went to bed...
Patsy calling her friends after 911 is the nail in the coffin for me. She just read a ransom note and the supposed "killer" would behead Jon Benet if they call the police. The last thing you would do is call "friends" to your house. Her and John should have won an Oscar for their performances on December 26th 1997.
They never regretted that either which is weird if they’re innocent. JBR was killed and they got the cops involved exactly as the note said but they didn’t even take it seriously
I noticed here that when they call themselves out saying they didn’t do it, they don’t include their son’s name. I’m in no way blaming Burke, it’s just something that caught my attention. I don’t think the parents did anything, but I can see a mom writing a note to cover for her child; love is unconditional.
That’s my theory. I don’t think Jon or Patsy did it, but I think Burke may have out of jealousy and they tried to protect him. But that doesn’t explain the foreign DNA found in her panties.
My gut feeling tells me this family is involved, ever since the first moment this video started. First, the exaggerated, not appropriate beauty photos of a six year old child, then her mother crying on the phone about the disappearance of her daughter, saying “my daughter disappeared. She’s blonde”… as if her physical appearance was super important to the mother, which fits the narcissistic photos of her child. Then, at minute 3:58, she is asked if she hurt her daugher, she says “no” while nodding positively with her head. A clear sign she is most likely lying. Then, when the interviewer says “people think you did it”, the mother answers “they are wrong” while shaking her head negatively, as if saying that people are NOT wrong after all. Too many red flags. No wonder people believe she did it. I knew nothing of this case and immediately felt something is off with the mother here.
How do we explain the unknown male dna? The DNA has been put through the police data bank but no matches. Why haven't they sent this dna to the genealogy experts?? Who owns the DNA and who makes the decision to forward to the experts? Anyone know?
From what I have read, there is a DNA report on the places tested, but there is so little DNA that they cannot even say if the samples are from the same person. There isn't enough DNA for a profile. Only one to two alleles were found at all the locations tested. An EXTREMELY insignificant amount that matches a huge portion of the population.
The dna is a mixture or so insignificant that the results can’t be used to match anyone yet Jon continues to push it because he knows it’s the perfect gaslight to throw suspicion from Burke
From what I understand, it's touch DNA that was likely left on the clothing during manufacture. It's verified the underwear was new and hadn't been washed before wearing.
No disrespect to anyone, but it's pretty obvious now that the brother did it and the parents covered it up to not lose both kids. Look at how resigned the father is to not finding a killer. Any father would be gnashing their teeth trying to find who hurt his little girl. He knows exactly what happened.
Some of the reasons people suspect the Ramseys: 1) there are a lot of reasons to doubt that there was anyone else inside the house but the Ramseys 2) the lengthy ransom note was written on paper found inside the house 3) the Ramseys have never been able to explain how Jon Benet was found to have eaten pineapple shortly before her death, and that a bowl of pineapple was found with Patsy’s fingerprints on it, despite the fact that the Ramseys have always claimed that Jon Benet went straight to bed when she got home 4) the Ramseys tried to cast blame on several other people, including some of their friends 5) the police felt the Ramseys were dodging them early on in the investigation 6) the alternative put forth by the Ramseys, a deranged pedophile, is incongruous with someone leaving a ransom note 7) some handwriting experts formed the opinion that Patsy could have written the ransom note 8) the note appears contrived based on the contents of it, and on the fact that there was no kidnapping 9) the room that Jon Benet was found in was not easy to find for someone who had never been inside the house 10) the majority of murdered children in the US are murdered by one of their parents 11) the body was discovered by John Ramsey 12) On the 911 call Patsy sounds hysterical and appears to think she hung up, and after that voices can be heard on the line that sound much calmer 13) the police interviewed hundreds of witnesses and investigated the case for years, yet have never identified another suspect 14) it is not clear that the DNA evidence came from the killer, or even a single person 15) a so-called garrote with some rope and unusual knots were found, and John Ramsey was familiar with tying knots because he was a sailor both in the Navy and in his personal life
16) "Burke had a 'history of scatological problems'." (JonBenet Ramsey's bedroom walls and Christmas presents were 'smeared in feces by disturbed brother Burke' - after new claims emerged he killed the child beauty queen, Daily Mail 2016)
While I have respect for Dr. Werner Spitz, and his honesty regarding JFK’s autopsy, for him to say no stun gun leaves marks like that on Jonbenet, is mind blowing. Just searching through 2 handfuls of pics online, you can see multiple, which look just like the ones found on her body. 🤦🏼♀️
Parents need to stop sexualizing their kids, let them live a normal life. I see them at '''Beauty Pageants'' all made up , their parents living THEIR lives through their kids?
The way the mom and the dad both smirk when they’re being asked questions about it is disturbing. That’s all I know. You should have despair on your face, not a damn smirk!!
I think at that point, they're just over the PDs horrible way of handling this case. It's almost comical that they are only singling out the parents and no one else. If it was unequivocally them, they'd be arrested. It's been almost 30 years? Come on.
How despicable, that you equate a smile with a smirk....who are you to denounce them? She was desperately sick with cancer while this was being interviewed.
Not that it matters anymore…Patsy didn’t answer the 1st question she was asked- then she went on to say how this affected them financially- everyone grieves differently but money?
John Ramsey is 81 years old. I hope and pray some qualified agency will solve this case before he dies. It's a shame what he and his family has had to endure over the years, on top of losing his daughter.
I still believe either the parents, specifically the mother or the brother had something to do with it. The letter that was found used words that Patsy used, and a lot of other things. It seems like they tried to cover it up. And it worked. So far.
Their daughter was MISSING! But, when the police arrived the father went downstairs and found her body, seven hours after she was reported missing! Why did the concerned parents not search for the most obvious place for her?
It was his second time going through the unexpected death of one of his children. His wife had just barely survived cancer. I wouldn't be surprised if he just felt numb by that point. You think Patsy had a lack of emotion? People would make fun of Patsy for crying "too much"!
It doesn't matter there will never be justice here for that baby , when my Daughter was murdered I was inconsolable I wasn't smiling I wasn't calm my soul was ripped apart their behavior from day one has always been abnormally disconnected all these years later that hasn't changed !!!
You weren't accused of murdering your daughter, though. They HAD to remain calm because of the accusations being leveled against them. I think there's a lot more to this story than can be admitted to the public. Dirty little secrets of cover-ups. Lin Wood, to this day, the Ramseys' attorney, is being persecuted, too. He knows more about the ones behind this cover-up, and they want to keep him blackmailed into silence.
What is really tragic about this case is that BPD knew quickly that John, Patsy and Burke were innocent because they had DNA evidence pointing to an unknown male yet they never told the media the family was not suspect and they failed to investigate appropriately. The behavior and actions of BPD is criminal IMO. Law enforcement should be held to the same standards as citizens. They wanted to destroy the family
At 3:52, the reporter asks if JonBenet had a bedwetting incident that night. And it looks as if the question is directed towards Patsy because she, Patsy, swiftly replies, "No, I did not." Interesting Patsy skipped over the first part of the question, which asked if JonBenet wet her bed that night. Instead, she immediately defends herself.
It’s very interesting how all of these shows seem to focus on Lou Smit’s investigating, ignoring the fact that the police DID build a MASSIVE case against the parents; then you had the DA assign Kolar to the case who reached the same conclusion and then there was a 13 month Grand Jury investigation-voting to indict.
Im gonna say it. Its horrible what happened, but you dony do this to your children. U dont sell em to the world. This is not hobby for her, this is for makin money, clout, and usually the moms are a ex model who didnt really make it. Im talking about the modelling stuff. Its so wrong. Ur job is the raise her, educate her, teach how the world works, but balance that they dont come one of these depressed "i have anxiety" youths. Not put her on stage for some creep to look at. The more I think about it the more it doesnt make sense, why would anybody do that to their kid. Edit. I dont believe the parents did it. If there is dna, its just a matter of time and work. And if theres dna like that in the data. Give it to the people who solved the golden state killer case etc, lets just hope it would happen before the father dies. He reflected on beauty pagent issue in the end, said he wouldnt do that again. Ppl can be very judgemental when theyre angry, just like me when I wrote this before seing the episode. Edit. Sounds like horrible police work. But then again this is the first document ive seen about the case so I really dont know much, how and what was done, Indont know whats in the letter etc...at first I was thinkin its the mother.
This right here. The fact that this child was exploited and abused her whole life, probably, and some of these comments here.. talking about "you're forever admired." A total stranger saying this about a child, who never should have been used this way. It's sick and I agree with everything you said.
You don't understand the American South, obviously. Pageants are incredibly popular and have been for a very long time. I was a pageant kid growing up and I LOVED it! It was so much fun getting dressed up and dancing/singing. Nothing at all wrong with it.
I think the more serious issue is the actual crime but yes the parents put her in the spotlight and made her dress as a grown up etc it’s similar to mom managers
To me, having followed this case for years, added to the absolutely horrific crime to their daughter, was the way the parents were treated by both the police and the public. The never ending accusations was a crime in and of itself. They were never given time to grieve their precious child. I can't imagine. I pray the father finally gets an answer someday.
No way. It was an intruder. They suspected the parents so the police did everything they could to cast suspicion on them. That poor woman never had a chance.
patsy just is so defensive it’s embarrassing, they suck at trying to cover up that they did it. all 3 of them smiling so much and showing no remorse makes it so clear that they had part in it. these are the stupidest people i’ve ever seen.
I've never thought they did it. I think someone close to the family, or involved in pageants was infatuated with her. I think it's someone who had been in the house before.
The reenactment of Lou Smith standing on the suitcase and exiting the window was not done the same way as the crime scene photo shows the way the suitcase was positioned. The suitcase was placed vertically and when the reenactment was done he turned the suitcase horizontal. I mean that is the way I would place it. So this leaves two questions; Was the suitcase staged to make it look like someone or did Lou Smith make a mistake during the reenactment and not place the suitcase correctly because it was not possible to do the other way or too hard to do. I mean no one has picked that out!
An FBI behavioural analyst refuted the accusations against the parents. There was a similar attack against a child a short distance from the Ramsey home. Any person who continues to accuse and tornent is as cruel as the killer.
This case can be solved. I don’t think the Ramseys had anything to do with it. It was either a stranger or someone with a grudge against the Ramseys set them up.

She's exactly right. They don't appear angry. They don't appear anything. That's why it seems so off. Normal parents would appear angry. They don't seem to have the real emotions one would have in this situation. They seem so suspicious.
If the mother hadn't written that phony ransom note, the parents would have a lot less suspicion on them. The note points directly to the mother with complicity from the father.
Something's fishy about those parents; that mom's smirk instead of tears when talking about her daughter's being killed and her lack of anger about losing her is just creepy! 🤔😬🤨 Something wasn't right.
It was a taser. And the predator found her through the pageants she participated in. He stalked them. The brother was a child and unable to sexually abuse her.

@@dariang4725 *if there was an intruder they surely waited inside the house.

*the broken window has not been DNA tested
@@dariang4725 whatever for tho? he didn't try to kidnap the kid, as she was already dead, so why make so much fuss about it?
After reading quite a bit, I’m convinced that the older brother was molesting her and her death was an accident or purposely done by him. The parents covered it up to save their son so they wouldn’t have to lose both children.
Bravo for you
Yup. People who don’t realize this have only ever listened to Jon’s side of the story or the tv specials and never read the actual evidence or heard anything about SA in families and among children. Insane how much time and money continues to be wasted on the lies
They need to just be clear about it at this point. They owe it to her.
That's honestly the most plausible answer to me as well.
Interesting
She would be 34 years old now if she still alive, possibly even being a mother herself.
So what? She hasn´t been alive for 28 years. So "she would" for 28 years or what? She will always be 6 years old so don't apply math!

Why does a kidnapper leave a ransom note after killing the hostage?
And why did the killer use patsys pad, patsys felt tip pen, leave the note where only patsy would find it, use patsys paintbrush, and have the same language and writing tendencies of patsy, “hence” the overuse of patsy’s exclamation points! Oh and patsy the painter used the same kind of duct tape on the back of her paintings etc etc etc! Not to mention patsys fingerprints on the bowl, glass and wine cellar door.
@@joegordon2915I never believed her
The killer was in the house while they were gone. He planned on kidnapping JonBenèt but accidentally killed her b4 he could take her. He had plenty of time to write the note and see John's bonus laying on the desk. He put the note on the stairs b4 he went to JonBenèt after he killed her he escaped leaving the note there.
But not "accidentally" @@LindysEpiphany
She's six years old and blond? Why would the mom mention that she is blond? The mom was not asked for hair color..
“This child”? Why didn’t she say, “our child” or “My daughter” “our baby”? Something
She also called her the body in a interview
She doesn't mention her daughter's name...
She does. You didn’t listen very well. The poor woman was trying to survive.
The parents didn't do it.
However I do think she knows who murdered her.
I still don't get the random note unless the parents couldn't deal with the nature of the crime.
Lol I will ask what evidence when I am innocent
@ Ohh I wouldn’t because they definitely would take it like you are nervous or worried. Those interviews are tricky.
Why would a ransom note be pages long?
Mental health?
Patsy wrote it to cover up what happened, rambling away in her handwriting
Patsy tended to be dramatic and long winded!
And then sent Burke to a friends house with ZERO police protection!
@breemcbride8988 I don't think they were thinking straight- they were in shock! The Police should have been thinking for them.
How do you know that's not what got their daughter killed? Maybe the "intruder" was waiting to see what they'd do.
It was to contaminate the crime scene. John and patsy contaminated the crime scene intentionally.
Also, I would think the parents will focus on that as one of the main pieces of evidence they have. They hardly bring note up in interviews.
@@kikikeel7695That's a great point!
Dna cleared her family. Anyone claiming her family are responsible should be sued for slander.
If it’s a kidnapping you don’t need to say a lot; if it’s a coverup then you do…
- This is one of the only cases where a ransom note & deceased victim are found in the same house.
How do you explain the dna not matching? 🙄 Obviously it wasn't the parents
@SC…….. depends who the DNA belongs to.
The kidnapper was in the house probably way before they left for the day and he went through everything. They didn't do anything to their daughter
Has there ever been another case where an intruder entered a home, assaulted and killed a child, and then left the house? I sure don’t remember such a case. Usually the child is removed and found else where.
Maybe because their house was so large?!
Of course there is.
Yes, of course. This very channel just posted a case a few days ago - a guy walked into a house, slit two little girls' throats and walked out.
@ I said usually, and I don’t think that’s a good comparison.
Putting aside the question of the guilt or innocence of the parents, it makes me sick to see a young child dolled up and made up as an adult. It is exploitation of your own child, pure and simple, making your child a target for pedophiles.
Jon Benet's mother was a lifelong beauty pageant participant, so it was a long-time family tradition.
Pageants were a normal family activity.

I agree.
Ransom note after killing the child?! Nah that don't make any sense yo.
Just found out:
Handwriting analysis:
Forensic analysis of the handwriting on the note further added to the suspicion, with some experts suggesting similarities to Patsy Ramsey's writing.
It would if they had taken the body. But storing her in the basement, after sitting in the house and writing that 2.5 page note? No. You have time for that, you can take the body with you. Also if this was a stranger, they would have to have been all over that house, and no evidence whatsoever of it? That doesn't fly.
And yeah, there were too many similarities to Patsy's handwriting to be a coincidence.
the fact that they refused exhumation is telling.

@theoryofpersonality1420 okay thanks for sharing. Still doesn't shake that feeling for me.
@@theoryofpersonality1420DNA was contaminated by the family cause the cops let them find her and hug her body….contaminated and cleared are two different things

@tazmrm0373 ...and I didn't claim that as a fact (although it seems likely to me personally).
Well, looks like you solved it 🙄
I had never heard her say that till right now and it just blows it ALL up in their faces. P.Ramsey is a murderer.

Why are you mad at the cops but not the Boulder DA’s office ? Their ethics were appalling, in favor of the well-monied Ramseys.
don't forget the parents did not do their job in securing their home, though.

Yea, I suspect this is correct.
As an American, NO, it’s an awkward thing to say.
Except that Patsy is both southern and privileged.
Is there a single person that believes the killer(s) did not live in that house?
There is a DNA that didn’t match with anyone from that family. In 20 years or so we all will have a DNA passport and this crime will be solved.
Exaactely 100 percent them, and Lou is hoodwinked.
Also they had her date of death on her gravestone as the 25th, when I believe her autopsy says the 26th.
Was the foreign DNA tested to match Burke? No one tested him I believe. Could have been him
What a nonsensical comment. Blaming a literal child for doing something to another child what an adult has done.
He was 9 year old...come on
But not sexually assaulting the child with a paint brush
Because its a mixture from 6 people. Not a full DNA profile.

Some of the reasons people suspect the Ramseys:
1) there are a lot of reasons to doubt that there was anyone else inside the house but the Ramseys
2) the lengthy ransom note was written on paper found inside the house
3) the Ramseys have never been able to explain how Jon Benet was found to have eaten pineapple shortly before her death, and that a bowl of pineapple was found with Patsy’s fingerprints on it, despite the fact that the Ramseys have always claimed that Jon Benet went straight to bed when she got home
4) the Ramseys tried to cast blame on several other people, including some of their friends
5) the police felt the Ramseys were dodging them early on in the investigation
6) the alternative put forth by the Ramseys, a deranged pedophile, is incongruous with someone leaving a ransom note
7) some handwriting experts formed the opinion that Patsy could have written the ransom note
8) the note appears contrived based on the contents of it, and on the fact that there was no kidnapping
9) the room that Jon Benet was found in was not easy to find for someone who had never been inside the house
10) the majority of murdered children in the US are murdered by one of their parents
11) the body was discovered by John Ramsey
12) On the 911 call Patsy sounds hysterical and appears to think she hung up, and after that voices can be heard on the line that sound much calmer
13) the police interviewed hundreds of witnesses and investigated the case for years, yet have never identified another suspect
14) it is not clear that the DNA evidence came from the killer, or even a single person
15) a so-called garrote with some rope and unusual knots were found, and John Ramsey was familiar with tying knots because he was a sailor both in the Navy and in his personal life
16) "Burke had a 'history of scatological problems'." (JonBenet Ramsey's bedroom walls and Christmas presents were 'smeared in feces by disturbed brother Burke' - after new claims emerged he killed the child beauty queen, Daily Mail 2016)

The incompetence of this Boulder Police Department!
That DNA was contaminated.
I heard a long time ago that the father left town and came back in the time before they called the police, could have planted random DNA on her.
What the police is afraid to investigate, is obvious here among some comments (pointing to the brother)
They covered for Burke & created the whole crime scene. The ransom letter says it all, HELLO!!!

Completely agree. Plastering your child in makeup, dressing them up for every creep to ogle is wrong on every level.
I still think it's the mother that did it.
The mother did it 😂
Investigators know the truth and thats the sad part 😢
To me, having followed this case for years, added to the absolutely horrific crime to their daughter, was the way the parents were treated by both the police and the public. The never ending accusations was a crime in and of itself. They were never given time to grieve their precious child. I can't imagine. I pray the father finally gets an answer someday.
Yall don't even let her rest in dignity or peace.
For me it all points to the theory that the brother did it, mother covered it up and told her husband half-truth.
If I found my 5 year old murdered I don't think I'd immediately think my 8 year old killed her.
Absolutely so
I think the mums interview sounds slurry.. like she's on prescription drugs, just saying. It just odd
No way. It was an intruder. They suspected the parents so the police did everything they could to cast suspicion on them. That poor woman never had a chance.
That accusation against the brother was proven false many years ago. Let's not repeat idle, slanderous chatter.
patsy just is so defensive it’s embarrassing, they suck at trying to cover up that they did it. all 3 of them smiling so much and showing no remorse makes it so clear that they had part in it. these are the stupidest people i’ve ever seen.
Parents are 100% guilty.
💯💯💯
You really think they did it???
Why???😱😊
I think they know who did though.
@ they are horrible actors for starters. The Mother and Father act almost smug when interviewed. It’s rehearsed.
Why don't you go public with this amazing info?! Congratulations on solving this case that has baffled experts for 30 years!
100 not guilty
I've never thought they did it. I think someone close to the family, or involved in pageants was infatuated with her. I think it's someone who had been in the house before.
Yes, I agree.
The intruder theory doesn't make a lot of sense. Someone in the family doing it seems more likely.
The family is responsible for her death.
This case can be solved. I don’t think the Ramseys had anything to do with it. It was either a stranger or someone with a grudge against the Ramseys set them up.
The amount of time they wasted on the family was just pitiful. They could have been using that time to find the real person who did it.
100% true.
They did it!!
@@gasmith7486 For what though? What reason did they have and why haven't they figured out where that other DNA came from? Tunnel vision is dangerous. 🤷🏾♀️
Would have helped if the parents talked to the police immediately instead of waiting 6 months.
Im so sick of all these same documentaries on her there's hundreds of children in America who cases are still not solved but everyone keeps making new documentaries on her every different year ..
What annoys me is the pro Ramsey documentaries never plays the original 911 call
@lisakaye3919 I'm so sick of this always getting coverage when so many people's children are still missing or the cases are never solved but some reason this particular child gets documentaries every few years and even tv episodes.
Not Jon Benets fault. It became famous because the parents were rich , the media plastering her pageant photos and videos everywhere and the bizarre ransom note
@JesW-x1b nobody blamed her wtf are you talking about ? It's simply the media who keeps making documentaries on this case when it's been done too death !
@@shawnhall9792 calm down bubba
I would really love for this to be solved because something shady is up with this one!!!!
She's six years old and blond? Why would the mom mention that she is blond? The mom was not asked for hair color..
Because she was crazy freaked out.
@@browngreen933 I don't think that's a reasonable answer.. She answered as if her hair color had something to do with being kidnapped.
@@Sparkypumps
Patsy was just weirdly describing JonBenet and blonde was the first thing she blurted out. If your kid was missing you might not be totally rational either. Think of the freak show that must have been for Patsy and John.
She hung up on her own 911?call!!!
@@browngreen933 You might be right..
Why has the Boulder Police Department not sent DNA to CeCe Moore at Parabon???
12/26/2024 we will see Justice for this little girl one day ❤ i hope 🙏🏼
“…we love this child..” While shaking her head no.
Speaks volumes.
I'm so tired of dolts thinking they are experts at body language. She could easily be shaking her head out of grief. What's scary is the thought of some of you people on a jury.
Always this child or that child, not my daughter and sobbing angry to find her killer, he knows!!!
I noticed that also! Every time she spoke, she shook her head in a no fashion. Instead of a confident nod😮
She's exactly right. They don't appear angry. They don't appear anything. That's why it seems so off. Normal parents would appear angry. They don't seem to have the real emotions one would have in this situation. They seem so suspicious.
With genetic genealogy this case could be solved !! What is the reason for the delay ???????
Smarter people have looked into this then internet people and 48 hours more evidence points towards the family then anybody else
How so?
If the mother hadn't written that phony ransom note, the parents would have a lot less suspicion on them. The note points directly to the mother with complicity from the father.
That sick. 😢
Something's fishy about those parents; that mom's smirk instead of tears when talking about her daughter's being killed and her lack of anger about losing her is just creepy! 🤔😬🤨 Something wasn't right.
Anyone saying her brother killed her is uninformed. There’s no evidence her brother killed her and the police have never considered him a suspect.
It was a taser. And the predator found her through the pageants she participated in. He stalked them. The brother was a child and unable to sexually abuse her.
You are the one who is uninformed, dear. Anyone who has gone down the rabbit hole of this case knows that Burke absolutely did it, and his parents covered it up for him.
@@SeanA5888 So people researching on the Internet know without a doubt, but the police haven’t figured it out in all these years? That’s nuts.
I honestly think that the parents are innocent
Me too
When Patsy got to heaven, the first thing she did was run for her beautiful daughter 🙏
Together again, RIP
That's a nice thought, thank you. 😊
How do you know she made it to heaven? It was probably she who killed her?
@Mint-kj9kw
Patsy made it to Heaven all right. You might not, but Patsy and JonBenet did.
If there were an afterlife, Patsy certainly wouldn’t be in heaven.
