The person cutting the cane for planting does it exactly the way that I do: no more than 3 eyes per seed piece. Gets better germination percentage. Very uniform stand of cane, btw! Very admirable.

I think per acre yield is higher here than in india because the sugarcane looks thicker and heavier. Also the extra foliage is being removed so that the entire energy is utilised by the sugar cane itself for growth.
In this way How much yield you get per Hector..per season .. Do you take Ratoon crop after first harvest ..please let me know these about ... ( A farmer ) ..thanks ..
