Some people seem to be confused with this sounding “jazzy” and not “bluesy”. This is still a blues. It still follows the whole 1-4-1-5-4-1 yadda yadda business of a blues but it’s going to have extra spicy chords and extensions and jazz phrasing.
@@micoveliki8729 I want you to tell all the great black jazz musicians that the blues they played was some white ass Jacob collier shit. Jazz history is black history bro. Please educate yourself.
Hey Foe, can you do a short walkthrough on how you set up your DAW for livelooping stuff like this? I've been trying to figure it out lately, and cant get it to work seamlessly like you. Anyways, you sound great man, keep it up!
Maybe you could create 4 tracks and assign the midi instruments, set a 12 bar loop, and use sustain pedal as a remote control to change the track that is being recorded. That way all 3 instruments sound in a loop, and you could play the 4th indefinitely. In Reason 12 that should result in what you're looking for, but probably it's way easier than this. I've never tried but it's what comes to my mind
@@Hockey-pd7wd he might also just be recording the midi all with one instrument (like the e piano) and cut up the midi into the other instruments for the final product
Oh. My. Sorry to spoil it but I think this may have been prerecorded. I found a few places where I could hear something that wasn't played or he hit a wrong note and I couldn't hear it. And if this is the case, it's still very convincing.
As a bass player Im cursing a bit listening to that lets call it a gizmo playing the bassline. Im cursing cos its not at all bad lol. You're description of the cheat is more or less my goto for the last chorus. Sometimes start the first 8 bars of the first that way too. Just use the standard bass players way to come back in with the the last 2 or 4 bars and blend the groove with the end of the solo.
please keep doing these, not only do they slap but they're also really educational about these different jazz styles 👍 good work
Didn't expect to see you here, but as you are here, I have a challange. winning bedwars with blues
omicron is a jazz man? ayooo
I didn't know this was a hypixel gamemode

Was about to write the same😅 but for people who have noch clue, they maybe get confused when they hear a classical Guitar 1,4,5 Blues😜
@@Broccoli75 nah not realy, the blues was there before the jazz. Jazz ist heavily influenced by blues 😜 it originated from the worksongs :)
This is some white ass shit jackb collier shit "blues" (and im fricking white) this HAS NOTHING TO DO With the real old down south blues

this is literally the vibe in those roblox games like retail tycoon or restraunt tycoon 2
The chord progression is called Bird Changes after Charlie Parker’s “Blues for Alice” and “Au Privave” among other tunes.

Your videos always make my day
Phew, every single video of yours is irresistibly groovy!
Replace the ding a ling with a four on the floor kick and you've got all the elements of a proto-rave techno track.
I'm surprised there was no version of the lick in this one
it was very sneaky
Right at the end, friend

Good job mate!👏🏼
I like how keyboard dancing as you play
The beginning of that solo reminds me of the first solo from Moanin by art blakey.
Actually very useful. Thank you!
Quoting Moanin' should be illegal if the solo isn't at least 5 minutes long.
the lee morgan lick...
Everything except for the solo part reminds me of (hard) bop more than blues😄
Definitely need this done for boogie woogie and 12 bar blues
Blues jazz is spicy
E L L I C K I T O - Chan
That bass part just reminds me of something in a way.
So good!
This aint blues this is Jazz.
It’s a jazz blues
Damn you're good. Teach me!
His how to play series is helping me play guitar too 🤣

no lick at the end? Subscribed.

OH NOOOOOO WHERE'S THE LICKKKK😭
Was the beginning part of your solo the first solo from moanin' - art blakey and the jazz messengers?
bravo!!

Got it blues = jazz faster but whit harder chords and yes
Ding, ding-a-ling
You should do the boogie woogie next
You should do one specifically for bird blues
Nice!
Have you got a rock blues as well as a jazz blues?
It seems jazz
Accurate
