Pontus played this masterfully, sat back and policed and waited for a window. Yuriko was unlucky with the flips, as Yuriko can be...Blue Farm forgot about the known Fierce Yuriko had. Mons had some opportunities but the interaction in hand wasn't really active so understandable why he didn't go for it.
Mons clearly embraced his inner Sherlock Holmes at the end there. Alternatively, he seems to have had a viable line to get the card he desired by playing the spire of industry to cast the sol ring, then casting his other commander (to turn on Flare of Denial) before using diabolic intent. It's hard to say whether the table would let him have it even with his flare available. But there would have been just enough mana left to cast dockside if he is able to search. Given how cautious Mons usually is, the clues were a safer bet. But he probably should have cast his other commander before completely tapping out on clues.
BearClaymore if you're a Blue Farm player you can't just get bored in the middle of the game and randomly play cards. The second your Dockside resolved you look like a merchant cause all you were doing was selling. I can understand keeping Jeska's Will over Ragavan with your hand. I personally wouldn't have, but it's reasonable in this pod since you have Dockside. But my brother in Christ why are we playing cards like counterspells just don't exist? You had a perfect opportunity to develop either of your Commanders off the Dockside and you chose to play an unprotected Rhystic Study instead of baiting interaction with the Jeska's Will that you kept instead of Ragavan. Then you proceed to do the most unnecessary Force of Negation (pitching a Force of Will btw) on a Snap when you have the mana to recast Opposition Agent. To top it all off your final act was casting an unprotected Ad Nauseum right in time to gift Tivit the win. If this was a tournament game I would have reported you for collusion
It is actually a combination of playtesting on moxfield and using OBS as a webcam to send that feed to spelltable. I have a video tutorial explaining how to creat that set up for free in this youtube video link. th-cam.com/video/3xYR639ZwDo/w-d-xo.html
The mental misstep on the sol ring was weird and imho a bad play. Why did he tutor Mox diamond ? He already has fish in play so tutoring rhystic or one ring to get insane draw engines going would have been my go to since he already has counter magic for other win attempts. How can you say you have no "great tutor targets?" A tutor is literally your BEST card at that point in the game.
@@nebDDa As they discussed later in the video. Pontus wasn't the threat because the other two players was fast turbo decks. Rhetoric need Pontus in order to stop them so letting Pontus fish go and counter Bears rhystic was a better choice 🙂
"If a triggered ability of another creature you control of the chosen type triggers, it triggers an additional time." - on the roaming throne card See "another creature"
Rhetoric I'd love to see you play my Yannik Nikara list! I've showed it to you before but I've tweaked it a bunch since then and even top 16'ed a (small) tourney with it. It's at moxfield and then /decks/elC-Z2u-bEenu8AMJa-uEA

I can't wait to watch, this is my favorite cedh channel 😊😊
thank you for that!
Thanks a lot guys for the episode as a present 🎁 ❤️
It warms this old mans hearth and dang what a crazy game this was 😀
glad you like it man. happy birthday
Was great to be back playing with the gang! I promise i’ll work on having a different deck next time! 😂
Love the games! Would love to see some Myra, the magnificent and Yusri, fortune's flame.
Mons weirdly reminds me of William Defo with his face expressions. It would have been fun if Mons would be in the “Lighthouse”
Hark Triton, hark! Bellow, bid our father the Sea King rise from the depths full foul in his fury!
Yeah Tivit!!
Yuriko forgot to make treasures off of the Offer you can’t refuse
I bet Pontus was thinking of casting a pact and using an offer you cannot refuse on it :P
I was at a couple of times yeah
GG ❤❤❤

Mons threw this by not casting his other commander and turning on his free spells
... but I did cast my commander ? I think. Ah no I was going to but snap got counterspelled.
7 Turns!!! Is this a battlecruiser channel now?
yeah ... we gave pontus a deck with counterspells in it :P
which app are they using to play?

Fish doesnt get countered but rhystic? Gotta 3 for 1 myself to stop this

Ya would have won if you called it Blues Clues 🤷♂️
DAMN! TRUE! I forgot!
Ward is a triggered ability so roaming thrones ward would've triggered twice. In effect, it has ward 4
"If a triggered ability of another creature you control of the chosen type triggers, it triggers an additional time." - on the roaming throne card
See "another creature"
it dose not target.
@@RDucardah, I missed "another"

This was a very weird game… so many wasted counters and poor timings… oh well! Take notes peeps, Pontus gets an incredibly free win by just chill’n
