I really have to thank you, Nerissa Ravencroft. Ive been listening to both your's and also Kiara's music a lot these past few days to help keep my head okay. This last week, i got into a really bad car accident, causing my car to get fully unrepairable. It took me a long time, multiple years, to save for that car, and a lot of work and effort. In other's eye's, the car wasn't very expensive, but it was worth so much to me sentimentaly, and it was my only means of transportation. Losing it hurt me so much more emotionally and mentally than the physical damage i took in the accident. Ive been listening to your music a lot, and your voice sings to the soul. It's been helping me stay out of despair. So thank you so so much.

She wrote incredible lyrics for this song and I love the stylistic choices for them in this video. For instance, the last pre-chorus, especially the quotes around "expectations". It's a simple addition, but they convey so much meaning. I almost want to do a lyrical analysis on them alone. I haven't even talked about the art, which is so good! Love the outfit and the poses, particularly the "sleeping" pose. Plus, the setting of a rainy night, which was a great choice. I'm so happy this got its own MV. Thank you Nerissa!
