- Munsiyari is situated in the Pithoragarh District in the hill-state of Uttarakhand, India. It is a hill station and lies at the base of the great Himalayan mountain range, at an elevation of about 2,200 m (7,200 ft) and is a starting point of various treks into the interior of the range. In local parlance, the name 'Munsiyari' refers to a 'place with snow'.

Can we self Drive our car through this road during feb mid... we friends are planning for munsyari trip by our car ... can we made it?? Or it will be difficult for us because of snow ❄️
February month will receive more snowfall. It will be highly risky to drive our own vehicles because of snow. The roads are also very narrow especially from thal to munsiyari.
May be you can reach chaukori and based on weather condition at that time you can decide

@@amitkumarbaral5119 yeah till thal roads were good only after thal roads were getting narrow and some works were going. This was in 2019, I am not sure about current situation.
Munsiyari is more likely will have good amount of snowfall in February than chaukori. If lucky sometimes you can witness it in chaukori itself

Snowfall in December?
Not sure sometimes you might get it. In february most likely you will get it.
Kisi gadi wale ka number hi dedo bhai, hame bhi jana hai next month. Delhi airport se pickup karte hai kya ye log bhai?
I reached kathgodam from delhi through train and used government buses and shared taxi to reach munsiyari

@@suvendupakui8895 there is no direct bus or shared taxi to munsiyari from naninital I guess. Kathgodam-almora-chaukori-thal-munsiyari. This is how I reached munsiyari. Stayed at almora and chaukori per night before reaching munsiyari
@@suvendupakui8895 you will get shared taxis or buses from nainital to almora. Shared taxis mostly was around 100 to 200 per person throughout our trip don’t remember it correctly. And it’s definitely safe for couples.
