Brahmatal Trek | Winter Snow Trek | Uttarakhand Himalayas
Brahmatal Trek takes you to a staggering altitude of 12,250 feet through a trekking distance of 24 km. The trek commences at Lohajung, located in the Chamoli district of the Garhwal Himalayan region in Uttarakhand. The trek traverses from Lohajung to Bekaltal and then to Brahmatal. Brahmatal summit offers an excellent panoramic 360˚ view of several mountain ranges lined up perfectly quite close to it. The list of peaks that one can see from Brahmatal is endless - from peaks of Kumaon division to Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Hathi-Ghoda peaks and so on.
Day 1 - Lohajung to Bekaltal
Day 2 - Bekaltal to Brahmatal
Day 3 - Brahmatal to Lohajung
Due to heavy snowfall previous night and weather forecast showing heavy snowfall next day, we skipped camping on day 3 and returned back to Lohajung.

Can we self Drive our car through this road during feb mid... we friends are planning for munsyari trip by our car ... can we made it?? Or it will be difficult for us because of snow ❄️
February month will receive more snowfall. It will be highly risky to drive our own vehicles because of snow. The roads are also very narrow especially from thal to munsiyari. May be you can reach chaukori and based on weather condition at that time you can decide

@@amitkumarbaral5119 yeah till thal roads were good only after thal roads were getting narrow and some works were going. This was in 2019, I am not sure about current situation. Munsiyari is more likely will have good amount of snowfall in February than chaukori. If lucky sometimes you can witness it in chaukori itself

It’s a one day short trek. You can either return back the same day or you can stay up there and witness sunrise next morning

I reached kathgodam from delhi through train and used government buses and shared taxi to reach munsiyari

@@suvendupakui8895 there is no direct bus or shared taxi to munsiyari from naninital I guess. Kathgodam-almora-chaukori-thal-munsiyari. This is how I reached munsiyari. Stayed at almora and chaukori per night before reaching munsiyari
@@suvendupakui8895 you will get shared taxis or buses from nainital to almora. Shared taxis mostly was around 100 to 200 per person throughout our trip don’t remember it correctly. And it’s definitely safe for couples.

I think you are asking about the zero point. Due to excess snow we weren't able to go beyond the resort till zero point.

Can I use it in my vlog?
No I am not okay with it. Every video takes an amount of time, effort, skill and money to make it. After all this if someone takes and uses it in their videos it doesn't feel good at all. So try making videos with whatever content you have and that will give you satisfaction.

How was your stay at the rest house during Feb end? Did you stay overnight? since some locals told me that the conditions are extreme, water frozen and no availablity of electricity, toilets etc during this period.
Yes I stayed overnight. You will have attached toilets in rooms. Water alone we need to fetch it in a bucket from a tank in front of room. You will also have electricity facility. I strongly recommend you to stay there and enjoy the sunrise next morning.

In feb most likely you will find snow. In khaliya top definitely you can find snow even till march. Yes it's motorable. Kha liya top you can only reach by trekking
