About Munsiyari -
Munsiyari is the name of the sub-division headquarters, a conglomeration of revenue villages and it also refers to the entire region as Munsiyari Tehsil and Sub Division in the Pithoragarh District in the hill-state of Uttarakhand, India.
It lies at the base of the great Himalayan mountain range, at an elevation of about 2,200 m (7,200 ft) and is a starting point of various treks into the interior of the range.
Some of the more popular day-trip destinations are:
Khalia Peak (3747 meters / 12290 feet)
Meshwar Kund (A Small Forest Pond in Sarmoli and Shankhdhura Villages)
Thamri Kund (Another pond on the Betuli Dhar ridge)

And i don't understand why ppl always compare mountains with Kashmir & Switzerland. Munsyari has its own charm. And it is The Uttarakhand. It has its own beauty and identity.

Hm husband wife bhi apni car se Munsyari gye the. Nainital m rooke the fir Munsyari. Vapsi m ranikhet rooke the next day caps Delhi. Bhot hi romanch s bhara safer rha. Uski yaade abhi bhi taaza hn or fir vha jaane ki bekraari bhi. Manzil se jyada rasta khoobsurati liye hue tha.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The river which you mentioned Ramganga, is not Ramganga. May be localites also told you the same name. But it is Sarayu. Ramganga is the one which you might have crossed at Moradabad. You would see Ramganga along side while going to Lansdowne, from Kotdwar onwards.

Very nice, one thing for mountain driving always make space for one who is climbing the cliff. Usually, uttrakhand drivers understands this delhi num cars not aware of this pattern so they make space for delhi cars most of the time. But prob comes when trucks or buses climbing the cliff there is no space for them to pass your vehicles.

Do you drive frequently in hills? Was it really that tough to drive and reach munsiyari? Since many people told to take a professional driver for that route
