St. Eunan's Cathedral, Raphoe

One of the earliest Christian sites in County Donegal, Ireland. St. Eunan's Cathedral in Raphoe is believed to sit on the site of an Early Christian monastery founded by the monks of St. Colmcille and dedicated to Colmcille's biographer, Eunan who was 9th Abbot of Iona. It was found in a ruinous state after the Plantation of Ulster. It became the Church of Ireland Diocesan Cathedral and has undergone many phases of restoration.
