Hey bro, Harvard is about $54,000 a year tuition. That is on par with all the ivy league schools. I went to the Unviersity of California, which is the top public university school system in the US. If you can to the Bay Area, I'll show you around where I went to college. For UC, in state student tuition is about $14,000 a year and about $44,000 a year for out of state student tuition. Harvard is not only once the nicest schools in rhe country but also one of rhe oldest, that accounts for the European style architecture and the really grand student dining hall. The student dining hall at my dorm at my college was definitely no where not as nice as the one of Harvard. That one was definitely old money personified!
I thought the dinning hall looked like Hogwarts from the movies 😜. Glad to see a fellow California person representing. Hope you succeed in all you endeavor to do.
Harvard is in Cambridge which is slightly north of Boston but it’s considered to be in “Boston”. It’s the oldest university in America. It was founded in 1636. 2 of my neighbors went there and 2 of my family members went there.
Harvard is in Cambridge, which is right next to Boston. She's only one student and she might not be the norm, but she doesn't seem to have a very rigorous academic schedule. Most of her day seems to be exercising, hanging out at the coffee shop, her job at the student center, and meals at the dining hall. At first, I thought she was advertising those pill supplements because she spent so much time showing them and talking them up.
That vitamin part made me cringe. Americans have made the supplement and pharmaceutical companies billionaires by constantly buying and taking their products.
That's so weird to us Brits, for us its all done for us, its weird that you guys haven't moved to like a purely digital approach to it or like have a government body/agency that exists purely to do tax work and other government finance stuff
If you work in the US you have to pay taxes on all your income. Federal taxes and (depending on where you live) state and local taxes will be withheld from your paychecks. When you file your taxes in April you may be entitled to certain deductions and thus get a refund if you overpaid - or if you underpaid you may have to pay more. Some states and cities don't have income taxes but the Federal Government definitely does.
Most Ivy League students are "legacy students". That means a family member attended the school before them. The get preferential treatment when applying. It is kept silent, but it plays a huge role on "who's who" on Ivy League campuses. ......When Americans say they "did their taxes", it does not mean they are paying taxes. It means they are letting the government know how much money they earned during the year and the amount of taxes they already paid based on those earnings. The forms that Americans fill out will tell them (based on the government formula) if they paid too much or too little taxes. If they paid too much, they will get a refund. If they did not pay enough, then they must pay the unpaid amount.
Yale in New Haven, Connecticut was founded in the early 1700s and has beautiful architecture based on English/European architecture. It costs about $55,000 per year. I did not go there. I went to a nursing school that makes that girl's day look heavenly. It was boot camp for nurses or at least it felt that way. It was tough, I survived, passed my boards and became a nurse. I got a separate degree in science. College was easier.
Back in '96 and '98 I took RN travel assignments up at Yale New Haven Hospital, in their ER. The one think that gobsmacked the shit out of me, is how this beautiful Gothic Campus of higher learning and Ivy League education, known as Yale ... is smack dab in the middle of, well ... New Haven. Once you get outside the insular defacto University Homes in along Trumbull into greater NH, at least back then, as it most likely still does ... IT BLOWS My 1st assignment, I was housed up in Hamden CT, which was fairly decent area. The 2nd, I was housed IN NEW HAVEN. Where a month before I arrived, there was a nurse who was killed outside the building.
Wow. Such an exciting look into her life. She eats, sleeps, works for 3 hours, showers. *yawn* Wonder if the vitamin or essential oil diffuser company are paying her? I seriously had to turn down the sound. Her voice was piercing. She spent more time working out and meditating than she did studying.
Everyone in the US has to file income tax forms every year with the federal and state governments, and it can become so complicated many people hire professionals to do it. I just did mine yesterday. The forms show your income and what deductions you can get to adjust it as low as possible to owe less taxes, and get refunded however much was taken out in excess of that. Through the year taxes are taken out, but if too much came out it can be refunded by filing the numbers showing that on your tax form. Some people don't have enough taken out and owe money! Either way, filing the tax forms showing it all is required every year by April 15.
I wanted to mention that Harvard is just 1 of 8 Ivy League schools. Ivy League schools have that charm of being very old (for the US), very prestigious, and are all in the Northeast, so they have very European architecture. Harvard in particular is known for its red brick. A lot of the other campuses look like castles.
Princeton University is one of the Ivy League schools, and it has a stunning campus full of striking stone buildings. Even if you have no intention of going there, it's worth strolling around that beautiful campus if you're in central New Jersey.
@@PerthTowne Yeah I live in NJ so Princeton is pretty close to me. I still think it has the prettiest campus with actual ivies on its buildings. Yale's campus is pretty impressive as well when I toured there.

People usually don't go to Harvard unless they have a significant scholarship that pays for most of the 4 years or so that they plan on going. But it's usually around 70k a year USD.

This was a weird video. It felt more like she was just trying to show off herself being sexy more than what it's like going to Harvard. The sexy outfit she was wearing when she got out of bed, then the sexy sports bra at the gym, then the shower scene. Seriously, that first scene when she got out of bed in the half shirt and booty shorts, looking at her phone and running her hand through her hair was longer than any scene having to do with Harvard.
Well, it's not like educators and professors are going to allow you to film the whole class, most don't even let you use your phone to text let alone take pictures or videos
@@Sandman60077 - Completely agree. (Even her attempted flex with reading Woolf's "To the Lighthouse" didn't impress me; my class read that in high school.)
Harvard is in Cambridge massachusetts right next to Boston and MIT is next to Harvard this are two of the top University's in the world than you got Boston college Boston University Berklee school of music northeastern and many more.
I live in Somerville MA not far from Harvard, which as others have said is in Cambridge. Harvard Square where the main campus is located is a great and has many restaurants and shops (Tatte and Pressed Juicery are in the square). I also like the Smith Center, there are a number of places to eat in there. Used to run a board game group there. Also with taxes, as someone already said people in the US have to file state and federal tax return. And if you don't file them correctly, they get denied and you need to file again. It's currently tax season which means we have until April 18th to file.
So many haters in the comments here. I understand complaining about the unnecessarily long yoga and shower scenes (she even does a split just to show off lol), but some of you are already making assumptions on her based on her reading material, designer backpack, and diet. The food was an interesting part since not a lot of universities have a plant based section. Also a lot of the students who go to Harvard can afford it since they probably grew up with upper middle class education it so it's not surprising that she has money.
My routine was kinda similar in College. just the vitamins were lacking because of time. I didn't work out as there wasn't really time instead i just went into anime and learning about japan which i still do to this day. i needed space besides my Dorm was like right across the road from the hospital where i had frequent visits to (don't ask). I had a great time in college despite all the stuff that happened
Really interesting! I’m the same way, I wouldn’t be able to study or work on anything outside like that where I need complete concentration, way too distracting!
How did this woman get into Harvard saying 'just' & 'so' every other sentence? LOL!! Maybe I'm overly critical & she isn't a public speaking major. 7:09 I don't think I can repeat numbers that high. 😀 It costs a lot to go to Harvard. 9:30 Taxes are automatically taken from your pay. You file a bunch of deductions to get some (maybe even a lot for a student) back. Anyone withholding your taxes, won't have your best interests at heart. You (or you and a tax preparer) are you best options to do your taxes. 13:37 Just guessing here. To someone so politically correct, I would say Aroma Therapy?
@@hardtackbeans9790 I was only halfway kidding. Something like 43% of Harvard students are legacy admissions. The rationale is that the children of alums have grown up in an environment that would make them a “good fit.” Also, alums’ children likely have the the money to attend and continue donating to the endowment once they leave. That’s the real issue. It isn’t just Harvard either. All the Ivy League schools have an absurd number of legacy admissions.
@@ashleymeggan I know about some of it. I was thinking about Dartmouth many (MANY) years ago. 😀 I will have to tell a famous Texan-Harvard joke when the video is right. This one was close.
Some students do their own taxes because if they file for themselves and not as dependents on their parents’ tax returns, they can show a lower income and hence qualify for higher tuition assistance.
Vanderbilt university is the area I live in Nashville, it's a top tier private university which it's top programs are medicine and law, they are the ivy league school of the south lol they should leave the SEC
Harvard is about 70,000 a year with room and board. But most students get a lot of financial aid. Most Ivy League schools try to get their students to graduate with little debt and Harvard has the biggest endowment in the world. And all people who work must file taxes by April 15th unless they make below a certain amount. Many people will get some refund back depending on deductions, etc. I’m surprised at how much free time she has, but that’s good that she is taking care of her mental and physical well being.
Going to Harvard doesn't impress me, your knowledge and how you apply it does. I've meet people with Masters and Doctorates and they are total idiots and could not apply what they supposedly learned in school. There is a huge difference between book smart and able to apply the knowledge smart. The girl in this video seems to have come from a very rich family and is fully funded by the parents and doesn't know how to have to work for what she is getting. You need to be careful with vitamin supplements, a lot of times are total BS and don't do anything for you. A well balanced diet is best instead. The big thing about the vitamin industry is they are not regulated by the FDA and can have nothing in them that does not help you. You should check out Dr Mike's channel in reference on vitamins, he has an excellent video for that. If you earn any money in the US you have to file taxes, now if you are full time student you can get a refund for all the taxes you paid.
The intricacies of the US tax system are beyond the scope of TH-cam comments but basically, if you earn taxable income you need to file a return even if you don't need to file a return.
9:30 Every American who earns an income has to file their taxes every year. April 15th is usually the deadline, but over the last couple of years, its been modified due to covid. If your taxes are simple, you can do them yourself. If your taxes are complicated, you're better off hiring someone. A good friend of mine is a CPA who runs his own tax return business. So he does our taxes for us. He tries to not charge us, but we pay him anyway.
Dang 9 thousand for college base like for a bum my state college say like university of oregon it’s like 20 sum thousand in state tuition then out of state and international like 30 40 thousands
What she is showing isn't any different than the life of any college student at any university in the US. All she did was show her exercise, that she's vegan and brushed her teeth. Not a big deal... every student at every school deals with a lot of stress. The average tuition at any Divison 2 school (for example the college football you like to watch) - average tuition per year, including room and board is about $28,000 a year before financial aid. College is very expensive in the US and we pay student loans for years.

She probably meant her tax return. I have to do mine too. Do they have that in the UK? At the start of every year you file a return and either get a refund or owe money. It just depends on how much you deducted over the past year and if you have any write offs.
Harvard is in Cambridge which is close to Boston but not on Boston proper. Your thinking of MIT which in Boston. Harvard is more business and law studies not medical studies. Harvard is really known for medical research not actual treatment. It’s a balance thing. MIT is the tech school you want to go to honestly. The university of Massachusetts is the hospital that specializes in treatment and added research. It’s similar to how the university of Florida uses the Shands name for their hospital but are world class in research and treatment. Every state has a university hospital of some type which is connected to a school. The schools make no money off the hospital but the medical students get a place to practice and research all sorts of things like cancer and Covid currently.

It's a day in the life video. It looks like other day in the life videos I've seen.
@@fad23 The ones I've seen they talk more about the school, academics, things like that. This girl was just trying to show off her body.
@@Sandman60077 - Completely agree. (Even her attempted flex with reading Woolf's "To the Lighthouse" didn't impress me; my class read that in high school.)
What are you talking about? She doesn't even show up in 90% of the video. Pull your head out of your ass and stop acting like a child.
Harvard Tuition & Fees is $51,925 and Room & Board is $17,682 per year, per 2022 World Almanac
Harvard is in Cambridge massachusetts right next to Boston and MIT is next to Harvard this are two of the top University's in the world than you got Boston college Boston University Berklee school of music northeastern and many more.
To avoid confusion lest others are, that is Berklee College of Music as opposed to Berkeley, as in UC (University of California) Berkeley.
One year at Harvard costs for tuition, $47,730. My granddaughter was accepted at several universities, and each of them was at least $40K per year.
Gender studies, possibly vegan, yoga -- could she be more of a stereotype?
I was shocked after the yoga and meditation that her favorite class is literally gender studies. Lol.
Every thing that she does puts her in the position to earn money. She gets paid all day long.
Btw great job i love watchin your videos brotha!!! I always get a good laugh for the day by watchin your videos!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK BROTHER!!!
Thanks so much bro :)
Really interesting! I’m the same way, I wouldn’t be able to study or work on anything outside like that where I need complete concentration, way too distracting!
The dining hall looks like Hogwarts, lol.
Legacy admissions. LOL..
@@ashleymeggan I'm sure she is extremely smart . . . Or a Legacy like you say. 😀
Technically, Harvard is across the river in Cambridge.
Some students do their own taxes because if they file for themselves and not as dependents on their parents’ tax returns, they can show a lower income and hence qualify for higher tuition assistance.
How much is tuition for Harvard a year? $54,000 USD.
Vanderbilt university is the area I live in Nashville, it's a top tier private university which it's top programs are medicine and law, they are the ivy league school of the south lol they should leave the SEC
So from what she said she’s paying almost $50k a year to at best be a translator.
Or an international businesswoman.
Tuition 54.000. with room and board 74,00. Many opt to live in apartments and cook at home
My mom worked @ Harvard for a while.
This is the most cringe day in the life video, some vegan, meditation girl😅
A year at Harvard will run you $75,428 if you are like this girl who lives on campus.
Harvard Tuition is 72k a year including room and board
I googled the tuition. And its saying around 54,000 usd
The intricacies of the US tax system are beyond the scope of TH-cam comments but basically, if you earn taxable income you need to file a return even if you don't need to file a return.
One year for tuition only is about $47,000
9:56 Coffee
so funny Harvard is in Cambridge,MA I think but it’s part of the “greater Boston area” if I’m wrong please someone correct me
9:30 Every American who earns an income has to file their taxes every year.
The Korean writing, loosely translated:
"I will not talk in class" over and over again. She was doing write-offs.
Lol
About 46 thousand a year base
Iced coffee, not tea. Good stuff.
Harvard tuition is $54,000 a year
Give me MIT.
Yeah, this was a weird video. It felt more like she was trying to show off herself being sexy more that what it's like going to Harvard.
@@Sandman60077 by doin yoga?
Division 2 football? 😕
@@RandomFandomDragon so thats how we girl stretch in the morning you dont know if she does that daily you are assuming ik i do all of that to wale myself up plus she says she works out so she’s probably still sore from working out u just assumed she was showing off her body like she dont know or care about you to be showing off her body like my girl goes to harvard affording that is a flex its self
@@pimpcesstee_4108 That first scene when she got out of bed she was literally just posing for the camera, or the shower scene that went on for an abnormally long amount of time. This video is just her fulfilling her narcissistic ego, or thirst trolling. If you can't see that then you're just a simp.
Here in America you have to do your own taxes.
If you need suggestions for music by BTS (either their solo work or work within group), I have tons of suggetions
The dining hall resembles hogwarts. 🤣 I attended a junior college and had a much harder academic schedule. Not sure what her major is, wish she would have explained her major.
We do tax returns every year. The state and federal governments give you money back plus benefits.
She probably meant her tax return. I have to do mine too. Do they have that in the UK? At the start of every year you file a return and either get a refund or owe money. It just depends on how much you deducted over the past year and if you have any write offs.
From what I've heard, taxes require less paperwork in the UK. I don't know the particulars.
MIT is in Cambridge
MIT is in Cambridge also. I live right next to it.
harvard tuition was $54,002… interesting fact is that they don’t get full scholarships so all the athletes picked harvard over a free education.
Hey Kabir , off topic but I'm curious ... Have you ever had chilli ?
About 55,000 a year. If you work you have to do taxes every year. BTS has the biggest fan base, last year it was 90 million
Their dining hall looks like hogwarts!!! 😂
Tuition at Harvard $54,000 US dollars.
Yep another accurate depiction of life in america, all college students are good looking blondes(blondish) that go to harvard.
If you have income you have to file taxes.
About $80,000 a year if you do not receive any aid or get any merit scholarships 😬😬😬
Day in the life of a FEMALE* Harvard Student.
We file taxes in the US so we can get back some money every year
Kabir, Why is one of the plaques on the wall behind you covered up. Please tell me what it says. Don't be shy. I think I've heard it all. I promise not to tell anyone.
Parents must be rich if she has a kate spade backpack. And this is a joke isnt it???
54K tuition
"women and gender studies class"
How embarrassing LMAO
What a hard-working, dedicated, and intelligent young lady...she must really make her parents proud. I did find something surprising though, every thing she does is very mature except the way she talks. Hard to understand how someone that intelligent CHOOSES to talk like a 16-year-old valley girl.
Horseshit
Her yoga routine is clickbait, same for her "stretching regimine"
As a gay man I'm nonplussed, and can offer an objective assessment
