Love this Video !!! I have been collecting since the late 70s growing up in Oshawa at Starr Records He had the greatest connections out of Montreal and now as a 53 yold I'am addicted in collecting only Zeppelin memorabilia !! I love it and have a room dedicated to displaying it......love watching others showing off their Collections. Its a labor of love for sure !!
Love collecting the Led Zeppelin picture sleeve 45s also !! I have now over a hundred different ones........incredible for a band who was dead set against releasing singles !!
A couple of years ago, I went to a used book and record store, in the last bin I cheched, I saw a white sleeve, I looked at the record and it was Pure Blues Live, I paid 13$ for it, I couldnt believe it!
Hey Dylan, what a collection! What can you tell me about the June 2 1973 concert in San Francisco, at the Kezar Stadium, day on the green concert? I was there! And I was a bit gone, if you know what I mean , I was 16 years old and with a group of friends, some wild memories, but never knew of a Recording, is there one? And not my forte anymore, but so interesting are you and the Vinyl community. You are terrific, thanks for sharing and making day. So, do you know much about that particular concert?
Well Zep "borrowed" a lot of their music from other artists and didn't credit them so they can hardly be offended by entrpreneurs putting out illegal bootlegs. Peter Grant is unable to do anything about them now is he?
The first pressing of the Immigrant Song/Hey Hey What Can I Do single has the entire phrase, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law". I have it.
Jonathan Hathaway I’ve got one or two of those packed away in storage along with one that says “So mote it be”. That’s the only one I ever found with that engraving.
At Zep '73 (my first concert) in Seattle... and then twice in one week in '75 (Mon. and Fri.), and Kingdome show in '77. There is '73 Seattle, and 3-17 Seattle ( I have full tape) and then 3-21 show in '75. That's a good one. But in '77 Zeppelin filmed the entire Kingdome show with 8 cameras. FULL show on TH-cam ! 3 1/2 hours.
Great video! Zeppelin is my favorite band too. Such a deep, winding rabbit hole they have. I love watching Zeppelin videos on TH-cam. You gave me some good stuff to keep a look out for too. Thanks!
Way late seeing this video, but I have all these bootlegs updated remastered low gen recordings. Plus a whole lot more not seen here. Collecting 'em is fun, just like listening to 'em. LedHed Pb 207.20 🎶 🎸 🎹
About 12 minutes in you show For Badge Holders Only. I had those and Page is audible but extremely buried on the recording. I took them to a friend who had a small recording studio and tried to get Page louder in the mix but the improvement was minimal. Keith Moon was at the show but the only drums he played were the tympani alongside Bonzo for part of Moby Dick/Over the Top.
Do bad you don't have the Final Option box set. Mega rare and very expensive. Jimmy Page has one in his collection. Outstanding collection I'm jealous.
There are replica sleeve, mono promo stickered pressings of Led Zep l, ll and lll available on the net. Cool boots, some have foil silver instead of white on the sleeves.
Great video and wow that's some collection I noticed you have no Knebworth 79 bootlegs I gave a couple not great sound quality but i have a cassette bootleggers an it's an amazing sound quality best Knebworth I've heard
I used to have a copy of a Zeppelin bootleg called Flying High. I believe it was a very early recording, maybe even 1968. I was wondering if you have ever heard of it,sir??
As I'm watching this, theres my 10" copy of 'The making of friends' looking down at me. Exactly the same as yours.I've got what you might almost call a complete Zepp boot collection, well catalogued and in date order, plus all the outakes and rehearsals. Difference being, mine are all CDs. Got about a dozen vynils going back a long time. To me, some of the cover artwork outshines some of the performances.
Im lucky enough to have a near mint "The Can" and a colord vinyl "Strange trips from the road", Both 10 lp sets, , Do you have either of those?? I do a have a good amount of the ones you showed, Awesome Zeppelin videos and collection
Nice! Got me about 20 zep boots on vinyl.. Southampton 73 is great sounding, cool university small concert ...if anyone is into boots check out TH-cam for some great shows by just about anyone u wanna hear
I honest to God bought a sealed copy of the Blimp Records Live on Blueberry Hill at the Pasadena swap meet in the early 90's. There was a sketchy guy who sold boots wholesale to some of the record vendors there. I eventually realized I could just buy directly from him and avoid their markups. He sold out of his trunk and one day he had a bunch of older stuff, because he was hurting for money. Among that older stuff was the sealed Blueberry Hill on Blimp. I think I paid $20 or $30 for it. Eventually, I also had to sell it, because I needed money! I think I got around $150 for it.
Dillon, you must already have one of the best Led Zep collections on the planet. Bet that you will keep finding more rarities of theirs in the future! Cheers, Paul from England
Enjoyed this very much Dillon.I don't have any Led ZEP bootlegs. They are hard to find where I live. I'm content with the studio lps. I have. Good video!
I was at the last Chicago show . Jimmy was so f-- - - up he was unable to stand. They played two songs last song was No Quarter. I believe they said it was food poisoning. Keep your tickets they were to come back and do another concert. Never happened Plants son passed away and then Bonzo. I did see the Unleaded tour and it was Excellent !
Dillon, despite my previous warnings to your viewers about collecting vinyl bootlegs, I still have a soft spot for those and will buy older ones on occasion, especially original Trademark of Quality ones with cover artwork by the legendary Bill Stout. I'm very impressed with some of your older titles, particularly the Rubber Dubber LA '70 which came out just before Blueberry Hill and is a different audience recording of that same show, only better sounding. That's great that you got such a great deal on it! A few of those old titles are well worth picking up because they are still the only source for the recordings of those shows, as the original tape source was never located or circulated. The magnificent TMQ Going to California (Berkeley 9/14/71) is a must-have, and that vinyl is the only source, including cd boots of it. LA 6.23.77 For Badgeholders Only is another (not actually recorded by Mike "the mic" Millard. He did tape that show, but his recording isn't the one on that vinyl set. He didn't manage to tape the first few numbers in his version. FBO is definitely as good quality as Mike's though).

I got a copy of III To Get Ready today. I gotta be honest, I am glad it was only $2. I respect what it is-a document of the creative process-but DAMN, it is like 90% strumming chords on an acoustic. The one I have has brutal sound quality, so maybe I am just not hearing all of what is going on. At least it has a cool photo of Page. I had to come to this video to see if you had it. You did not disappoint. I want to find some of these other ones! The one with Keith Moon must be a trip.
Wow, you have a serious collection, but I was actually looking for a few that I have. One in particular, a kid in High School was always trying to trade or buy from me and I always refused. It's called Sweet Jelly Roll and is a 4 album set. I also didn't see Bonham's Last Ever Gig. The Pink one from April 27th; I have one with the same picture, but it's Orange and I think 71' and just has a paper jacket. I just moved and almost didn't take about 40 or 50 LP's i had when I was a teen. I've got to pull them out. All of mine are from the 80's. Mostly late 80's is when they were being sold.
Hey bro--alpha/omega is true. The show in Denver WAS in '68 and was the first gig in the states. Then next gig was is January (9th?) in California. Oakland '77 was the last shows in the states.
Chris Potter I have a bootleg reference book that’s says the “68” Bootleg is from Spokane Washington, not Denver, and that the date was wrong. The last show is the last US show but not the last show ever. The date on that one is wrong too.
Very awesome collection!! I was waiting for you to show the boot I have but you didn't. Mine is a double set, blank yellow cover with no print and is the Trademark of Quality with the pig. Do you have any Led Zeppelin albums from the illegal First label a Taiwan label that made the GI's bootleg copies of albums for a fraction of the price of the originals? I do. If you want it im listing it on Ebay soon. Look for it.
I used to have bootleg Led Zeppelin- Yasguir's Farm!..Not very good sound quality but it was interesting and just really bizarre!!! Short of getting an original Sgt. Pepper for a quarter that was the luckiest find I've had. Immigrant Sons??? WOW!!!VERY COOL! Thanks for sharing!
How could someone throw a Zeppelin bootleg in the trash? How much do you estimate that your Led Zeppelin vinyl collection is worth btw? I am green with envy as they say!
Hey Dillon, I just purchased a bootleg of Led Zeppelin off of eBay that sadly doesn't have much info so I went to Discogs to see if I can find out anything I managed to find out it is from the Berkeley Community Theatre Sept 14th, 1971 in California but I don't know if it a good sound quality soundboard or audience and I watched your video to see if you had it but I didn't see it, can you help with any info?
Great video. Serious obsession! One time I was flipping through the Zep section in my local record shop and they had this weird foreign bootleg of Zeppelin II and III in the same gatefold jacket. The first is a japanese Vinyl 2Lp Set from the eightees and the other one a megarare expensive japanese Metalacetate Set... Two Lp's named... Live in Germany 1980 Part one and two ( only 30 Copies exist) from the Magic Market Label Japan
Love that you highlight the cover art as well as the actual vinyl itself. Such a big part of the experience 😎
Great collection. Led Zeppelin is my favorite band too! 😁
Fascinating! Great collection!

WOW Dillon. Thanks for letting us share in your excitement and giddiness over your wonderful collection. Cheers.

Of course when I went back to the store it was gone. Now I kick myself in the head. Have you ever heard these Antrop pressings? Are they any good?
The audio quality is good, not great. It's missing a lot of dynamics. But because of the quirky imitated covers they are highly colllectable.
The theft of Soundboard and outtakes was by a couple who were caretakers of Jimmy's property when he was out of the country at the time.
