I went to a Buddhist temple and was the only black person there

I went to a Buddhist temple two Sundays ago. In finding myself and seeking God, I am drawn to nature. So, when I had a dream about visiting a Buddhist temple, I thought why not? Its alignment with nature, search for wisdom, and inner peace and contentment were attributes I was seeking. So I went.
The temple was simple, with yellow painted windows, yellow radiators, all gods were adorned in gold, and the altar was decorated with oranges and items that were yellow and yellow adjacent. I thought it was interesting that the Buddhist gods had this content smiles on their faces whereas the depiction of Christianity is a lot more solemn and melancholic.
It was an experience, and I do wish the service was in English :) Anyway are you religious or spiritual? Let me know what you believe and why :) #spirituality #faith
