I have an idea for a new Entity: An Entity that spawns in caves, But It only spawnes When the player is in a dead end in the cave. It spawns behind the player and watches it blocking the way out, 1 out of 3 chance to attack the player and ofc it crawls throught 1 block gaps, But its slow not like the other entitys, it slowly approaches the player and makes it more scary that way. Would be Cool if you Would make it. Great Video by the way Keep up the work🔥🔥

I always thought of making a dweller associated with water, like The Sunken or some crap like that. Honestly, if I took some lessons on all this programming i might be able to make it
@@Percival_W yeah my plan was more based on La Larona (a spanish legend) that would try and drag you into the water making being near bodies of water dangerous as it could pop up in any body of water big enough. but i do not know how to do the hand thing i wanted to do so im sort of stuck. if only there was a tutorial on this sort of stuff

this was really good, I actually thought of an idea; and since I know I probably don’t have the skill to do this, what if you made a creature that transforms Into a tree and stays a tree until the player tries to break down the tree as the player breaks down other trees that are not the entity the entity becomes stronger need to get attacks harder and has more health So I would say to use a tree texture pack for the creature and maybe also have it be able to transform into any tree at the player is destroying trees by solar player will be on edge with whatever trailer braking because the thing to pretend to be any tree and I know most players break trees with their hand and that’s like the first material they get when they have no armor so it would be an interesting idea for a dweller trend, I would probably call it the man from the forest
this looks like it has a ton of potential if i'm being honest, maybe make it less of a boss like the one who watches is and instead make him more of a stalker or like the ghost variants.

Yessir! I'm making a mod like that currently, which will add a Wendigo into Mc. And it's completely custom and doesn't use any logic or code behind the cave dweller. It functions like a predator being less programmed to scare the player and more so to kill anything in its sight and try to feed it's neverending hunger.

looks good but the damage and duration of the chase could be lower so people won't die every time and mostly get spooked (old enderman chase behavior and the low spawn rate of witches would be very good and spooky) ^^
If you plan to continue anything with this boi heres a idea When he sees you he can only move when you move, when you walk he is a bit faster, and if you run he is bit more faster So main idea is to try to get out before he gets to you, but if your already being chased by something, well your prob dead

ok so idk how to make mods so I'm posting an idea that's free for anyone to steal lol An entity that will spawn in the world at a random time after the first night. Could be immediately, could be a real life hour. once it's in the world, it's always there. It slowly moves towards the player, taking the form of any mob, an moving at their base speed, making just a b-line towards the player, like the movie It Follows, but without the random nudity, and also actually good. Wen it gets close enough, it enters a chase mode where it takes it's true form, the less sense this form makes to look at the better. Once it's in this form you'll be lucky to survive as it is relentless, possibly even breaking blocks like the Wither. Also, as a failsafe, if it's pathfinding is broken for too long, it will respawn somewhere else, and start it's hunt over again. I like the idea of the player seeing a zombie, and going to kill it, but as they approach, a tree breaks their line of sight for a moment, and when the zombie is visible once more, suddenly it's a creeper, and the player goes into panic mode as they realize they're just a few blocks away from the entity. The idea is to instill trust issues into the player, and just the thought of something aways hunting you, never stopping, that always knows your exact location, is inherently creepy, like old Gmod nextbots. Maybe it could also change it's behavior depending on what mob it's taken the form of. If it's a passive mob, it will stop every now and then, maybe move a bit randomly, if it's a sheep it'll eat grass every now and then, to try to trick you, but always move closer. If it's an aggressive mob, it will do more of a b-line. Maybe if it's taken the form of a skeleton it'll move more like a skeleton, and if it's a creeper, it will transform into it's true form upon exploding but the idea of a villager making a robotic b-line towards the player, never stopping, staring directly at them no matter how far away is also very creepy, so maybe it can switch between more of a b-line and a more inconspicuous approach. That's all, like I said this is basically free real estate in terms of mod ideas, idk how to make Minecraft mods and honestly I can barely run it so I'm not in much of a position to make the mod myself even if I knew how If someone does make this idea a reality, lemme know, I wanna know how it turns out if/when it's done

good work but try to do something very terroising instead of running in your face and screaming very loud, your previos projects like the one who watches is scary the first 3 times, but then he gets annoying, since the same thing happens over and over again, no matter what happens. it is gonna be tricky, but it is still possible. try something terrorising that wants to torture you, instead of dismatling you in 4 seconds thank you for reading!

I'm trying to make my own horror mod, the 3d model and texture are already working in mcreator, I have solid ideas of what kind of behavior the mob will have, but the problem is that I understand absolutely nothing about ai entities or programming, Do you have any tips on how I can start learning?
Imagine a creature that it looks away at you all the time until you get close then it snaps its head and neck back to look at the player never moving its body, then twitchest slightly as the player get forced to look at it if the player walks to far away after it has seen the plauer it will run like a jet aircraft attacking the player, however if you walk towards it itll laugh and disappear like some sort of joke or game

How do you get the purple set to block? I have the variable but can't find the block.
once you create a procedure there is a Custom Variable tab and in that you will find the block of code you are looking for. Hope this helps!
