  • Looming #6 Needle Case & how to Fully Enclose the Back Tutorial
In this tutorial you will learn how to create a wider loomed piece, which can be use as a cover for a needle case, or with some modifications, a small coin purse etc. I will explain how the backing could be use in a jewelry application for covering the entire back with leather, or micro suede.
Thank you so much for watching! I hope this tutorial was helpful to you :-) if you would like to see more free tutorials, please like, share & subscribe.

You’d have a much easier time of it if you used a looming needle which is over 3 inches long and leave the beads on the needle as you push the beads up between the warps. Once they are spaced between the warps, pull the needle and thread thru and come back over the warps.

This is so pretty! I have never used a beading loom but I can get this effect with peyote stitch. It’s lovely and I like your design!❤️

Hi Lee, Yes you can get a similar effect with peyote but you would have to use 15/0 to square up the ends so you could finish it in a similar way. if you follow the link to Fire Mountain Gems Graph paper, they also have peyote paper. Have fun!

Hello Erlinda. You could make a front and back and then create square stitch strip for the book spine. Once strip is created you can go through them and several beads from the front and back connecting the 3 pieces. If you are using leather for the back you can just attach the back and front to the leather. I hope this helps.
