  • *EDIT*: please note that I made a mistake and said "2000 meters" when I meant "200 meters". It was my fault and since I don't edit the videos, it remained in the uploaded version. The light reaches more than 200 meters, but waaaaay far from 2000 meters. Sorry and thaks for understanding!
This video shows some beamshots comparing the Olight Javelot Mini with other "thrower" flashlights.
The Olight Javelot Mini was sent by flashlightgo.com/ store.

Sorry, I was meaning 200 meters, but sometimes when recording I mess it up between hundreds and thousands :x It was my fault and it should not be seen as brand mistake!
Please accept my apologies concerning that mistake. I will edit the description!
Thank you and sorry for this!

It surely reaches a long range with a defined beam, but it is not 2000 meters and I said in the video. Please be aware that it was a mistake!
I really see it as a "pocket thrower" and when I go to my village I use at night to spot things in a long distance!
      Thank you!

Do you know of any spotlight with NO SPILL whatsoever? I want to use a spotlight to shine down the street but I don't want the spill light to reach into my neighbors windows.

Hum, I don't have any light like the one you describe. For that you probably need a LEP (not LED) flashlight or a zoomable flashlight while zoomed in (tight spot).
The Javelot Mini, despite the strong hotspot, has some spil.
Check the 1lumen.com website where they have lists and tests of LEP flashlighs, and maybe you can find something suitable: 1lumen.com/lep-flashlight/.
Also, check some of these videos:

      I hope this helps ;)

Has the same exact led as the spot emitter in the marauder mini, literally identical specs too. Buy one and have 5 different lights instead of a one trick pony in the Javelot

Thanks for that information about the LED. This was the first time I saw one of these, hence my lack of knowledge about it.
The Marauder Mini is a different flashlight, more complete and more complex, and surely can be used for different purposes.
The Javelot Mini serves the single purpose of a "small" pocket thrower, although underpowered due to the 18500 cell.
An 18650 or a 21700 in this format would be better in my opinion. Still, the price of the Marauder Mini and the Javelot Mini can weigh in the decision of buying one or the other, which is why this one still has a place in the market, despite the cons.

The Marauder Mini is a $200 flashlight. I just got this Javelot for $65 on flash sale.

Marauder is much fater and cost twice the price and has a tricky button.

      Marauder is less focused !
