My Dad was a grafter, a farmer all his days. Died at 53 of a heart attack, fit as a fiddle and a complete shock to us all. I have a son and a daughter now, I try my best to install a sense of metal and independence in both my kids. Hopefully I don't go at 53, but if I leave them with as many happy memories that I have of my own father, ill be a proud man.

    My grandad for sure.
Gave me my first knife when I was 8, and taught me a lot of life lessons. And whilst he was from an older generation that wasn't great at expressing affection, I know that the time and lessons he shared with me were his ways of expressing how a male role model should be, in his own way at least.
