You've got me as a new sub, I fully intend to either Solar/Lithium off-grid in an RV, or small homestead, or both if my health holds up. I'm on your FB group as well. Excellent information and very well explained. I am still learning after 2 intense years of self-study - and I am still wary of my foray into this wonderful tech. It's all good, anything worth doing is worth doing right.
Thanks for the kind words. I hope this information is helpful as you navigate the solar PV world. For the foreseeable future I will be sharing videos focusing on the requirements of the National Electrical Code (NEC); however, once I cover Article 690 (Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems), I will begin sharing videos about system design. If you have questions, feel free to post these to the FB Group; hopefully someone will be able to help.
@@solarpvoutlaws1674 I'm looking to put together either a 24-volt system for an RV with a bank of Lithium batteries (Battleborn 100 amp hr Lithium Phosphate @ 12 volts) maybe 500 amp hours of storage and a 2400-300 watt PV array up top. If a Homestead, then a 48-volt system with a 500 ah bank of the same batteries. I'll probably use 32 of the 60 cell PVs. Just a small mobile home here in AZ on land I own in the sticks. I am also following Electrodacus here on YT and he has a new Solar MPPT-type device and I am curious to see how this all works out in the end. This is an exciting prospect and my last and only chance to live a dream before I die, so onward bound!
