    The Fiido L2 is a great eBike as it features a 4.5:1 planetary gear reduction built in the motor with a one way clutch system, a big 20Ah 48V removable battery and provides great comfort by having complete front and rear suspension along with a big cushioned spring saddle. In this video i will demonstrate what happens when the stock power is increased by using a big 25A controller capable of up to 1200W peak, 500W nominal sustained continuous power.

    Hello, how are you, my name is Jose, I follow you on TH-cam, I don't miss any videos. The ones I like most are those of the FIIDO L2, which I have recently acquired, and to which I am going to make the same reforms that you have made, and which you explain in your videos. The problem is that my level of English is very low, and although I activate English subtitles while viewing the video, I miss many details. It would be very good if you could activate Spanish subtitles, if that were possible. Or if you can think of something else that would ask me to help, "other than going to an English academy" ☺ I would appreciate it. A hug, and keep sharing. I really like the little one to collaborate.

    • @TechTronic9000

      I've did a test and Spanish should work. Try this: first enable automatic captions (CC button) which enables english auto-generated. then press settings (gear button) and then choose subtitles/cc and you should have a new option for automatic translation, then you choose Spanish and it should work.

    • @joseantoniomartos7610

      Thanks for your answer. I have followed your instructions and I have not been able to view subtitles in Spanish, and I think it is, because my Android device does not give me that option. Do you know how to check the voltage on Fiido L2 ebike hall sensor wires. I have learned that if there is a 6th wire which is usually white. That it is either a thermal wire or a speed controller. If the voltage goes above 5v then it is a speed controller. Will you please let me know ? Thanks a bunch. But this I read about and not in a school.

    Hello again friend. How are you. I have finally been able to translate your videos on Fiido L2 into Spanish. Your work is magnificent. With all that wiring. Wow. Too bad you have not been able to limit the speed, although it is interesting, to have achieved more power. For me, a maximum speed of at least 45 km / h would be ideal. Have you been able to find out more about it? I want to share a modification that I have made to my Fiido L2 in the rear damping, since due to a bad design, in terms of length, or placement of the same, they do not work properly. What I have done is the following. I have replaced them with longer ones (21.5 cm), and in this way you get the swingarm to be positioned at a better angle 90 ° or so. and get to work correctly. I have used Honda vision 75 scooter front shocks, I think Honda yupi 90, and Peugeot sv 125, carry the same. I have used these, because they are quite soft, and with my weight (80 kilos) they go quite well. They do not stop, as if the front suspension does. The Chinese sell shock absorbers of this measure, and at a good price, but the problem is that they have a very thick spring, and this will cause them to not get to work. with what you would stay the same. I had to increase two links plus the chain. I hope you continue to share more videos, especially from the Fiido, to see if you can limit it. a hug.

      @TechTronic9000  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      TechTronic9000 Hello, how are you, I am very glad to be of your help to improve the suspension of the Fiido. You help us a lot with your didactic explanations. Thank you. As for the issue of motor change, what do you recommend? We are limited in size, since in 14 "rim there is no big deal, I have seen engines up to 1500w, but they are very wide, and do not enter the swingarm. There are also engines to radiate, but the minimum measure is 20" . Another option would be to place 36v and 250w motor, in the same way and size of ours, and the 500w switchboard that you have installed, but I don't know if the motor would be damaged, since it has more voltage, and more intensity. I hope you can help us with the best choice. Thanks again for sharing. A hug

    Top speed is only affected by the voltage. You can change the battery for a higher voltage one to get more top speed. Some of these motors are just built to run at 24-25 kph at that voltage. It could be a speed limit, or it could just be the KV of the motor. Best way to test is put it on a VESC or similar (borrow one) for a second, and see how fast it spins with no load.

    • @TechTronic9000
      @TechTronic9000  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's exactly what i'm thinking because the motor on the Fiido is a in hub 4.5:1 planetary gear reduction motor so probably the motor is already spinning at it's KV limit. Probably a regular hub would be able to run faster on 48V.

      The bike has a 350W planetary geared brushless hall sensored motor and a 25km/h limited controller. I've replaced the controller with a 1200W one that has no speed limit, but the motor with all that power is not able to spin faster especially due to it's reduction rating which is ~ 4:5:1. This also demonstrates the myriad of fake videos of "how to unlock Fiido speed" which is not electrically and physically possible without replacing motor and controller.

The second opinion might be more expensive because of the battery price.

I have also found the producer of this motor and they confirmed that the motor is designed to give ~25-26km/h at full battery voltage. That is why the original controller of the L2 actually does ~23km/h so it keeps the speed constant as the battery voltage decrease. To get faster speed you need another motor designed for speed.
