Plein Air Painting Through Southern Arizona 🌵 Relaxing Art/Travel VLOG

- The Arizona landscape is so diverse and unbelievable. On this peaceful one day road trip, I traveled down to Madera Canyon, cut up through Box Canyon, and then finally ended up in Sonoita...maybe for a glass of wine or two. In the process, I painted two (time-lapsed) watercolor landscapes using my travel sketchbook/art journal and a handful of colors. My art supplies, materials, and color palette are listed below.
Remember, even if it is a bad day painting... it is still a GREAT day! Enjoy and thanks for watching!

@@michaeljohnnolan I was so scared and reluctant to try again the self cringe and force of inertia felt so strong but then I remembered how humbled I was in your class and you complimented my charcoal shading one day on this blob that I didn't think was anything at all. And you always give such valuable constructive feedback on how to do better because you've been through the struggle to become a master! You always speak so honestly and because of you I believe in myself a lil more every time I sketch without judgement but just feel....I do love doing those lil thumbnails so freaken awesomeness thank you for this and everything you taught us. I have no idea what I'm going after but I know the journey brings out the lil creative kid in me and that is the best version of myself so I'll be ok 😀

@@michaeljohnnolan awww thank you so much 🥹🤗 well when I watch you very carefully in class study your movements (not in a creepy oogling way I promise 🙏) I can tell that you're essentially doing micro fine scale dancing with your hands/arms and eyeballs and your brain print lands on the page or canvas like sorcery. I swear you're a magician!! Oh btw one of my good friends/colleagues wants to learn to draw so you know which Prof I recommended to her ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Btw have you considered doing a Ted Talk, lessons on Master Class or Skillshare? don't know what I did in this life to be soooo blessed with the most amazing teachers but I won't embarrass you lol I promise to give it my best, mess up a bunch and know there is space for infinite delightful thumbnail sketches 👍 🖼️.
