I've been an expat in several countries, and find the closest friendships are always with other expats not necessarily from my home country, it's generally that these people have the same outlook and quest for new experiences. 4 Years in Switzerland, 6 years in France and 8 years in Ghana.
That’s what I like about you Paige, you always know how to meet people. I know you’re future adventures are going to be awesome, I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next. London will surely miss you but we are so excited to have you back!🇺🇸
Great video! I was having a bad day until I watched this video. Jessica from Chicago really cracks and had me laughed so hard when she called for someone to help her with air conditioning. I lived in England for several years, and when I once again heard someone say to Jessica on the phone: HI YA, I almost couldn't stop laughing. Thanks for making me laugh.
GREAT video and very interesting - as a Brit I really appreciate you’re being here because you enrich the fabric of our society - Americas loss is very much our gain 👌 - more please 🙏
I’m literally so grateful for this video , I have always wanted to live in London since I was a child. I’m feeling that vibe that it’s time for me to pivot again and this time out of the country. I’ve been praying on it and decided to check on TH-cam to find other professional black women who also made this transition from the U.S to the UK . I’m currently a PhD student and trying to find a job in London hasn’t been easy . Do you have any tips that could help me ?! Any feedback from you ladies is appreciated!
Hi Paige, I have been following you since Covid and actually have my mom following you. We love you but I'm sad that your London adventure is coming to an end. With that being said, so any of your fabulous friends have TH-cam channels? I'd love to continue hearing about their adventures but will still be tuning into your channel. You have been wonderful sharing your stories and life experiences. I have been to London several times and enjoy it. France is my main jam but London is very close. Good luck to you and I look forward to your USA adventures. Cheers
Thank you so much for tuning in!! I believe Olamide will be starting a new channel but they are mainly on Instagram and TikTok. You can find links to their social media accounts in the description box 😊
This was so good very eye opening, you picked a great group of friends to give us the real from all perspectives I really enjoyed this I can’t wait for part 2💕💕
Great video! It's so wonderful to see all of the beautiful ladies coming together. That is so cool to see the lovely community that you've created in London. I especially would love to hear more about the dating scene. I hope that Black British men are dating Black women.
I really enjoyed this London is on my list to visit soon definitely gonna visit during spring maybe can't go without A/C that can be true for many countries in Europe the no A/C so can definitely be unpleasant for us Americans who love running our A/C the minute its in the 70s
This is the first video of yours I've seen. I really enjoyed listening to everyone's answers. I'm a black Brit, not living in London. Now I must catch up and watch all of your other videos😊
This was fantastic. It is do good to hear the difference the ladies found here and the US loved this discussion very interesting and informative ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Hot summers are not a thing? Lol The weather in England is very random; but we have had many unbearable summers where you will need need air conditioning I’m buying a ac unit soon just in case we get one of those crazy hot summers this year
Hello I love your channel and have been following you for a while now. Thank you for this one too because I needed more information about London. I would like to go to college there but I feel like I’m too old. I’m 43 will they except me there at this age? Also if possible can you tell me what site I need to go on to apply to the university there? Thank you kindly in advance ❤
Oh gosh. The name Olamide is African. It rings a bell. Yeah, Koffi Olomide, a Congolese Rhumba musician! Anyways always love to see you Paige and your happy vibez...Will miss your London vlogs soo much. I'll still follow you everywhere you go, tho. Much love from Kenya.
What about health insurance while you studied in school? How was that covered? Was it expensive because you were a foreigner or was it the same as what the British people receive?
I feel like that is a very female perspective of being turned off because a foreigner wanted to date you for being an American. I feel like most dudes would not be turned off because a girl wanted to date them because they are American.
@@PaigeMariah 👏. That's part of what's so amazing about living abroad, it seems like expats are more open to new friendships and often you make long-lasting quality ones with people who have similar interests. Love that!
Paige just very interesting but lady in the middle with shaved head she was going to delete her dating apps before finally finding someone but is he American or English Just curious 👀?
All Americans complain about the lack of AC lol…..I live in a pretty high end apartment which unusually for the U.K. does have AC. Guess what, in 4 years I’ve lived here I’ve never used it, probably no longer works. Might change in the future, but I really don’t think the weather is that hot here that we need it….plus that thing sucks power like crazy.

Great video! How do you apply for jobs in the UK while living in the US? I would prefer to get a job first before moving.
You would just have to search online and apply I assume! It’s definitely more difficult to secure a job here when you’re outside of the UK though

So what about London Research Salaries?
Is there British financial aid for studying in London as a U.S. native?

Does Olamidé have any advice for moving there with a dog?
What US careers can be used in London? I want to move to London too but I want to be able to afford it.

You should understand that black men here won't get into a relationship so easy. We have to be very sure. Dating sucks phewwrrr
Go outside of multicultural London which is another city in itself leave London and see real racism in other UK cities and towns.
I cant make out if sound is really bad or i cant understand the accents they are so strong. I cannot make anything out at all.🥺 Un watchable.
Really??
