Amazing what you can get done with that old machine. It’s good you feel well enough to get out and fix up this crossing. Of course we know heavy rains are going to wash that crossing out again and again. It’s good too your wife is able to do the video and narrative. And ding it very well.👍👍
If you have land your always got something to fix up or do something on and I guess my creek crossings are one of those things. Gives the Allis something to do and opportunity to take video. So win win 🤔😂😂
@@mountainblokemoments yes sir, I’ve got about 2 miles of old old fencing of cedar posts that have seen better days. @@timbow50 yes I’ve owned an Angus bull myself, thankfully all our neighbours are commercial stock breeders as well as they got quite a few “free” services from our bull. That old AC what a machine! When you shut it down I thought I haven’t seen a flap on the exhaust I hope you have a cap! You sure did! Great stuff Rob! 🍺🍺
Kell “give it a little shake”and Rob still dribbled on the seat🤭. Poor Allis😍 being mistreated 🥺 At the end I thought you were going to do a triple back flip in the piked position🩲🤸🏽♀️ 👍🏴
Looks like the perfect place to install a bridge, or does the creak flood out during the year. Would make for a good couple of videos. Not that you don’t have enough on your plate now. Anyway love to hear the Allis purr 👍🎅🏻
I might end up putting a causeway in that crossing. As a lot of water comes down out of the mountains, carrying a lot of debris that would take out any bridge that I could build.
@@RJ1999x I hope the harvest is going well and your yield is well up. Some issues here in Aus with it being too wet for lots of farmers to get on their country. Video is a couple weeks old we have had considerable rain since then. We didn’t get the crazy falls that have been to the south of us but good rain for this time of year.
I enjoyed watching the track take place , but i think you guys should put a few 30 inch pipes threw the creek bed to prevent extra damage to the track , plastic poly i,d say , then you can carry them to the farm
Yep that’s what I want to do eventually but I will still need to stabilise the road as that much water comes down there at times it would wash over the road still.
Hey boss, have you got the service manual for this old sob? Just thought i'd comment that the finals on these get a bit of slack in them, and to tighten them up you pull the outer cover and remove some shims or something similar its been a while. You probably already know but if not might be wise to check them out, its free to tighten them up to spec and very much not free when a final shits itself 😆
Thats why these tractors have a bad rep for finals, some people never adjust them and they fail. If you adjust them periodically they last just as long as a caterpillars.
Thanks Rob... Diesel here yesterday $2.54 p/l western NSW is rediculas good job on turning the pigs ear into a silk purse .. come up a treat.. mate you wanna be careful .. someone from QLD RTA sees this vid they will have you out upgrading the Bruce hwy 😂😂😂
Hahah no chance of getting a job on the Bruce they don’t seem to want to get that job done. Might be able to get a job putting out more speed limit signs or road hazard signs. Plenty of that happening. I go for another run down the Bruce tomorrow to lay in a machine for half an hour to scan my liver. 9 hrs of driving do 30 minutes of medical stuff😔
Friend of mine had 3 all is Chalmers scrapers that had been thru a lot. When he got them the oil looked very beat. They changed oil and one by one blew them up on the first job. He paid about scrap price for them and they finished the job so he was happy. I was disappointed. That they got ruined. They were very cool.
So many good old machines get turned into scrap 🤷 I guess that’s just the way it is people can’t justify spending the money on them to keep them going or get repairs done. I’ve got an inter tractor that I’m not sure what to do with. I can’t justify spending money on it at the moment🤷🤷
@@mountainblokemoments that guy with the scrapers started on one engine but stopped. He said he couldn't get the parts. When he changed oil I recommended runing them for a while with no load and then changing oil again but they didn't do that. I can't be sure that would have helped but the oil that came in them was unbelievable. That they ran and got the entire job done also unbelievable but their demise got me. The engines were their only failure. Every thing else functioned very well.
@@mountainblokemoments also on your inter tractor try to lube down the cylinders and whatever you can so you can work on it later. And on parts don't give up too early.
