    About me:
I’m a queer, non-binary, 40-something from Portland, OR USA. I’ve had eczema my whole life and developed rosacea in my 30s. I went a long time feeling like my skin issues were hopeless, and new products never seemed to work. So I’m here to share what I’ve learned! I hope it will connect with people who want to know what products and techniques can actually work for their own skin needs.

Wear notes: as expected, this isn't my first pick in hot weather! It held up better than I expected outside, but instead of setting down the rest of the way it became more sticky. If I were to repeat the experiment I would sheer it out and use a little more powder -- also I think that staying inside the A/C longer after application would help so you have a drier environment for it. I was impressed that despite all that, the coverage kept up! Check my Instagram for more photos of how it turned out.

Super educational. As someone who keeps foundation past the time I probably should I appreciated your info. I have never seen you before on TH-cam but you showed up in my feed and I had to check it out. Nice job!

This was really helpful. I have a couple of their miracle balms but haven’t tried the foundation.

I just started trying this, I did not realize just how much my skin needed this. I really like it. It feels so good on the skin. My skin also feels so good when I clean my skin at night after I take it off. My skin drinks it in. I have gotten to, when I don't have to be out and about quickly, I put on a little more than I would if I was needing to leave quickly because it soaks in and dries down quite a bit. I will use a bit of loose setting powder on it and then put on my bronzer (if I use it), my blush, and other make up. Even with some powder over the top, I still see a bit of glow coming through, which looks nice. I am really liking the face pencils, those are actually why I ordered items from Jones Road first and added the WTF foundation just to see what it was like because of the diverse reviews. I have found that there really isn't much of a scent, and what little there is, goes away quickly. The WTF foundation is one product that has been the best positive accident in trying I have ever used. Will it replace my "going to work" foundation items from another brand?, not yet. But will I wear this often?, definitely. This foundation also "plays well" with other cream products from other brands. The face pencils and neutralizer pencils are great. The lip products from Jones Road are great as well. So glad that I tried this. It is going to be a hot summer, it seems. I am doing wear tests. If you do the miracle balms, a little goes a long way. I love Miami Beach! I also have Flushed. With these products, start with a little and add a little at a time. These products have a little of oils in them, so they are not meant to completely dry down. Face pencils need to go over a little moisturizer or WTF foundation. This makeup / skin care line is not for everyone. The eye shadows and lip products can be though. If you are wanting to try the WTF foundation and face pencils there is a little quiz on the site, you can also email them with a makeup-less photo and they will provide recommendations for you that goes with your skin. They do a good job with that.

I suppose the same “this stuff breaks down over time” goes for mascara and lipstick too? … i should probably go through that drawer and yeet some of the stuff from 2017 😂

      Mascara from 2017? Yikes!
Bullet lipsticks might be ok after the listed 24 months - check whether the texture has changed, or if it smells like crayons or play dough. Unless it’s your absolute favorite color though, easier to toss it and start over.

The only foundation I ever liked was discontinued years ago. I'm 41 and I have always had a hard time getting foundation to sit well on my skin, and I don't like the feeling or the process of putting on multiple layers of stuff. So I gave up on trying to make foundation work for me and have just used a bit of mineral powder to even out my skin after I heavily moisturize. This stuff looks promising though, so I'm definitely going to give this one a try at some point. Thanks for doing this video!

The makeup looked nice in the end 😊 I wish I could try something like that, but my skin is super oily even with matte foundations 😅 but yeah, this sounds like a nice product for people with dry and/or mature skin.

Great review! I’ve been looking for a review of the alabaster shade. I don't know if it is just me, but the photos on the website for this shade are odd. I cannot tell the model's skin tone; the foundation looks not as good and less natural than the other models with different shades. Thanks for this :)
