Thank you SO MUCH! I took the digital PSAT in October, and struggled with the math section. I didn't even try to use Desmos, foolishly. I had no idea about all of the hacks-those are really going to be a game changer! I feel so much less stressed.
It’s only adaptive between the first module and second module. If you’re below 70% on the first module, they’ll give you the easier second module. But that means your score gets capped because you get less points for those questions. So it’s not dumb
You are so awesome I've rewatched your SAT prep videos multiple times because they fill me with so much joy and hope for the future. Not only are your videos funny, but they are GENUINELY HELPFUL. I have not found a single other video that helps me with SAT prep whatsoever, they all just go into example problems in the most boring slow way possible. If I had more time before my SAT retake perchance I would even book a tutoring sesh with you. I have my SAT retake in three days so if I don't get a good math score on it I probably will :)
Hi, online SAT lab rat here (int'l student, took it in March 2023). It was a lot easier for me than paper tests, especially for reading and writing. The long passages killed me. Math was about the same difficulty, but then again, Desmos. Good luck you guys.

Very curious info. To be true the last time I took SAT was in November 1995. Yes, it was paper and pencil. It was done it was gone, now it’s really fun to remember.
Just to clarify something regarding how each module is scored: Within each module there are 2 questions that do not count towards your overall score. I forget the exact phrasing, but CollegeBoard is testing whether or not they are fair questions for use on future SAT tests. Think of it as a trial run before the real thing. So for R&W, of the 27 questions, only 25 of them count towards your score. The problem is, you don't have knowledge of which count and which do not. Same for math, of the 22 questions, only 20 of them will count. This explains the inconsistency in his scores when he was doing his experiments. You don't need to be perfect necessarily, but you can really only afford to get the 2 "tester" questions wrong.
Test Format Changes: Shorter test: From 3 hours to 2 hours and 14 minutes. Reading and writing sections combined. Two math sections combined with a Desmos calculator available throughout. Section Structure: Each section has two modules. Module 1: Same set of questions for all test-takers. Module 2: Adapted based on performance in Module 1. Scoring Implications: Module 1 performance sets a baseline for the test. Missing easy questions in Module 1 can significantly impact the score. Perfect Module 1 performance allows some leeway in Module 2. Content Changes: Shorter reading passages and more isolated questions. Reduced emphasis on word problems in math. Removal of imaginary numbers from math section. Geometry and trigonometry focus on basic concepts. Desmos Calculator: Provided for the entire test. Enables graphing, solving systems of equations, and more. Offers advanced features like calculating mean and median. Score Reporting: Scores available immediately after submitting the test. Transition to digital aims to speed up score delivery.

Hello sir ! Hope you are doing well. Firstly, thank you so much for helping me in my SAT prep. Yesterday, I took my digital SAT as an international student. My bluebook scores were quite good. I scored 800 two times and a 770 on math on bluebook practice tests. In yesterday's test, the first of English was good. I expect 23+ answers to be correct. The second module was very difficult. Standard conventions, transitions, rhetorical synthesis, and vocab questions went well, but the core reading questions like inferences, central ideas and details and command of evidence were not that good. I mean there was an element of guessing while I was answering them. The first module of my math was perfect. I finished it 9 minutes earlier and rechecked all the questions. Again, the second module of math was comparatively difficult and I think 17+ answers were correct. How much score should I expect given the context and that my average score was 1460 on bluebook practice tests?
