@@linux750 each monster part has a damage threshold, when you reach them it causes a flinch or a topple depending on the monster part and how many threshold have been reached on this part
he was stunned though, a thing that happens when monsters are hit like the example in the video, usually if a good hit in the head is given it will stand there drooling from the intense impact. proving even if the tigrex didnt fall over it was still in deep shock and suprise from the hit but like the fact it could handle that hit and still be standing is crazy

nah regular players dont do this. this are timings that comes with years of playing someone just getting world and MH in general is not getting this "regular" highlight

It’s also super neat that this was done with the twirling upswing, since I almost always end up getting the weaker version, since you have to wait a certain amount of swings for the full golf swing
I am slmost equally impressed with the timing and the animators ability on the physics of the hammer throw form the avatar used to make it seem as realistic as possible
The level of detail in this game is off the charts. From the tangible amount of force being wound up to the characters face showing the strain of the swing. To the spit being knocked out of the Tigrexes mouth. Every fight feels like a true battle to the death no matter how many times you fight a monster.

Inspire to do nothing but swing your hammer around all match, barley connect and only stun, please play solo don't play fill, hammer mains are useless mnd as well go great sword it's way better, or charge blade

It does stand on all fours though so its easy to stay “up”
