I'm 29 now could not imagine being told I have Parkinsons . I admire them pulling together and helping others incredible that 17 new treatments have come out of his foundation.
Parkinson's is dreadful, I had the reaction when being treated qr ith heavy medication for bi-polar. I take my hat off to you!

Im so glad Michael ended up with a wonderful woman who didn't take his shit (ie. Drinking)but was always there for him. She's strong with a sense of HUMOR and Love. I have been Michael's fan since 1984. May God continue to bless him and the other Foxes.

It’s a good loving person that stands along their mate through thick and thin that’s true love at its best.
Now he has the rarest gift of them all. An awesome woman that stands by him no matter what.
I was involved in a car accident and have nerve damage on my neck. I can not imagine what he has gone through. I have severe headaches they have completely changed my life. I can see a few things the twitching in some other issues with the nerves system that he asked that I've had to deal with. I'm not comparing myself to him. He is a very humble man and he is blessed with the beautiful wife. Most people wish they would be able to find someone that would love him unconditional and this is what I see when I see this beautiful couple. Never give up never surrender.
It's beautiful when a couple is married for so long especially in sickness like the vows. But it takes two and a lot of times one person doesn't do anything or enough. Problems come and go but a team is the best way to get through tough times.

Michael J Fox wow first teenage crush from family ties to spine city I remember when he left spine city and Charlie Sheen took over this was when he got diagnose with Parkinson's disease and I was so upset for him being so young and being such a great actor and I remember thinking how will he remember his lines ,but he has always had Tracy by his side and together they have fought tooth and nail to help Michael get through it they have been through so much and have come out the other side of it I'll always have that crush on Michael who couldn't love him he is a beautiful soul and such a inspiration thanks Rumour 🧃 Juice ❤️

I have loved him from the first time I saw him on Family Ties and I even remember when Tracy was on the show for the first time and thinking how much I really Iiked those two as a couple! Even to this day they are still one of my favorite couples showing us all that true love does exist and it can last forever!!! 💞

I was 27 when i was diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
So i have a little bit of sympathy to be diagnosed with an incurable disease in your 20s. Just when everything is supposed to fall together, you fall apart.
Michael J. Fox has always been a great actor, but he is also a great human being who inspires.
My grandson was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at age nine….his mom got busy reading and changing his diet to a simple carb diet and she put it in remission within a year! He is 15 now and has never gone off that diet plan ultimately he has never had any breakthrough issues either….but it is a struggle for him as he cannot eat anything with sugars additives or preservatives….I am so proud of him as he handles it like a rockstar!

Tracy has a heart of gold ,I take care of people with Parkinson disease and it hurts to see how family members don't care or even want to understand them,they are amazing people with a horrible disease and Michael is a true fighter who never stops fighting, they are an inspiration to all couples

It's hard to find a friend, Very hard to find in Hollywood, then turn the friends into a intimate relationship. Most would say that's not going last. Against all odds marriage came and Tracy and Michael became one . Being as one is what we all look for in life, even when Michael was diagnosed she was right by his side. It's amazing how great the two are together and still growing stronger than ever with kids and all. Keep it strong and life will make you stronger.
I had the biggest crush on Michael J Fox when I was younger & it broke my heart to hear about his Parkinsons diagnosis! But seeing his positive attitude toward life makes me believe that anything is possible if you set your mind to it!

My mom had parkinson's and it ravaged her body for 17 years. She fought hard, but people don't realize, it's not just a shakey had, she could barely swallow, couldn't poop and different internal problems. The muscles just stop working.
Oh, biggest side effect, depression and imagining things or scenarios. She kept telling me my father was having an affair and gave all their money to home nurses. No money missing and my father idolized my mother. Just part of parkinson's, but I felt so bad for him, we all did.
Thank you for sharing your story about your mom with us, we're so sorry that your mom has had to suffer for so long. We hope you know that you're never alone in your pain, there are always others who understand what you've had to go through.

Great story! My wife passed on August 5th, 2021 from Rapid Onset Parkinson's. She survived 8 months after the diagnosis. I'm in Tracy's shoes as I was the primary caregiver for my wife. We were married for 49 years and 2 months when she passed. You Never Give Up!

He had a cameo on Designated Survivor as a "get to the truth at all cost" investigative attorney and it was perfect! His Parkinson's was just part of his really strong character and added a lot of personal strength to go with the professional strength. It made the character awesome! Well played Michael!

How encouraging. And it shows that if someone loves his/her partner when that one voices the things wrong it can push him/her to sober up and do the right thing. The decisive moment for Michael was when his wife had enough. He had to decide to change thigns or lose his beloved wife.

I tried for 4 years from 2011to Halloween of 2014 to get my doctor to explain my shaking. I was 44 when my doctor noticed it. He kept sending in interns. I needed this video. Thank you for this video. It has given me hope.

My Grandpa had Parkinson’s. Their love story carried them through that experience too. My Grandparents were my role models for love, perseverance, humor and grace under pressure. I had a crush on him when I was in high school. This disease is brutal. My uncle died from Parkinson's. I really admire them from the way they are handling this. It is amazing how much money they have raised for this.
