Great info. I too have been following for a while and found the journey fasinating and informative. Always a ah cool moment when I see you have posted a new video.
Hello everyone on TH-cam. I'm not an expert. I would like to know if we could do a polyembrionic tissue culture in the laboratory to produce a superior mango variety ? Thank you from Philippines
Keep going with the video at ten years will be another milestone. At that point the trees will be fully mature and more vigorous. I see some are already touching. Interesting you have gone to 10x20 feet. If you decide at 10-20 years you need more space just remove 1/2 and you are at 20x20.
It's possible that ants are farming the scale and mealy bug. I've seen people use a product called tanglefoot at the base of the trunk to prevent ants from getting up to the tree canopy. It's sticky and the ants can't crawl past it. Also, you can use flagging tape to wrap the trunk first and apply the tanglefoot to the tape so as to not constrict the growth of the tree.

Definitely possible and i know i need to deal with ants as well especially in my citrus. I can't imagine using tanglefoot on thousands of trees
