A simple but eye catching design, the colours and textures of the flowers worked so well together. What fabulous hydrangeas! It was a pleasant change to see they didn’t play second fiddle to the callas, peonies or roses. All the flowers were divine. Using the aspidistra to cover up the mechanics is a fast, simple solution which can be jazzed up if needs be. Thanks for the tip for holding the candles in place. 😀
Thank you John, that takes the scariness out of it. Wondered how it was done! I'll have to borrow mums candelabra now! A beautiful design, and love the colours!
A stem of pink rose was placed a bit lower than the rest. Was it intentional? I remember you mention the word "regress" quite often. You made it look so effortless. Thank you. So many things that I can take out of this tutorial. 🙏
Dear John. This Marion from Germany. I was the one to asked for that manual at your live chat of 12th July. I´m really happy to see, that you take up requests to show us how it works. But to put the floral ball to the top of the candelabra is not the challenge I was asking for and really need to know. Sorry, that I didn´t explain it better. I´d like to know your idea to put the flowers in between the 4 candelabras arms, so that the ball seems to hover and the upper part of the 5th middle candle holder is also visible on top of the flowers. I´m not quiet sure if I could explain the challenge now completely. If not, I can provide a picture. Beyond this it is necessary to prepare the flowery construction to be transported separately, because of there are a number of pieces of 12 to be delivered to the location. It really would be great if you could give us some support. Best whishes from Germany and a lot of joy in figuring out.;-)) A big fan!!
artattack38 hello Marion! A big hello to Germany! It is possible to do, but I don’t think it is possible to make the flower part, then take and add to the candelabra after construction. For me I think you would need to construct this around the candelabra itself, so you will need to either do it there, or have the candelabras at yours then transport the whole design to the location. This has a consequence for after the party - the flowers can’t be separated to give away! If you have an image then send it to us just to check we are thinking the same - flowerjoos@gmail.com I think it would be good to do this as a video also 😀
Rosemarie Walsh all you really need is a pair of floral scissors and secateurs for thicker stems and you are ready to go! I like a knife instead of scissors - we have a video showing you how best to use one, but that’s all really in way of equipment. You then need to decide what you want to make and what’s required for that item. So maybe floral foam, greenery and flowers - buts that’s the fun of it! There are so many choices. 😀
Hi john. I love every floral arrangement you made and subscribed your channel. I’m new in florist and learned a lot from your video. Do you think is that possible you can put down the flower name you use in each video ? I think it will attract more people like me who always like to learn. Thanks.
Elisa Hsiao hello! Thank you for watching. We try and list the flowers - if you click on the video title there is a description there. I think you will enjoy your floral journey 😀🙋🏼♂️🌼
Very nice sir , can you please give us the name of the flowers you use normally as I am new on your channel in one session thanks ....Mehnaz from london
I think the arrangement is too huge on that part of the candelabra. For that size of arrangement, it is more better to locate it in the middle part of it, more stable to carry, more safe also. Turn the lights on, and just bit of wind blows, the flowers gonna get burn.you can also put a smaller arrangement too the same place u use in the video for more extravagant look. 🙂
These you can get in florists , or wholesalers - this is provably an oasis brand one. But most items you can find online now on places such as Amazon if you only want to buy one or two
What a vibrant centerpiece. The colour combination compliments the silver candelabra. Mine never got in balance in a sense that it'll be more on one side😭. I feel so bad that I gave mine away few years back. Hope someone is enjoying it. Someone finally got a chance to go for a 💇♂️.
xj770HUN now there is a product that could sell 😀but you are right - candies can burn materials - with fresh material it will just go black, but the whole thing shouldn’t go up in flames 😀🙋🏼♂️
Using floral tape to secure the candles... Brilliant!
That took years to discover! But it works 😀🌼🙋🏼♂️
Beautiful, love this technique that can be used for any occasion.
Thank you 🤩
Absolutely Fabulous Design!! I get so jealous every time I see English Peony's, they are so beautiful!

J * we have tried everything to hold candles in place and this is the best solution we have found. It took 30years to find though!
Thank goodness for you making tutorials for TH-cam, saving us from wasting time and money when making ( well more like trying to) floral designs. 😀
Stunning colours and great tips as always
Thank you for de-mistifying about the candelabras. I wasn't ever sure how they got flower foam attached.
Fabulous, love your designs, thank you John 👏
mmalacria thank you! 🙋🏼♂️🌼
Congratulations on your win in Chelsea!
Carla Morey thank you very much! 😀

I think the hydrangea needed to be broken up because the arrangement was small and the colour so bold!
Hi, John, love the videos: relaxing and informative! Would love to make a start. What basic kit would you recommend please?

Sou do Brasil.
It's looks like as a fire hazard for me. :D
xj770HUN might smell like salad barbecue 😆
@@FlowerJoos I like you didn't take that as an offensive comment! :D Btw If you use bacon roses, then problem solved :D
