Amazing potential! I followed this guy since he was twelve years old. The first time I saw him play I knew he was something special. Every Ajax-fan that watched him play frequently, did. He had the ajax-1 fans cheering his name before he ever made his debut. He was one of the biggest talents in the past decade we had upcoming. What makes it even more sad is that he, and donny van de beek formed a magnificent couple. They played together since they where little boys and they had a natural chemistry that was unmatchable. It was everyones dream to see them play together in ajax-1(Nouri en van de beek where our biggest prospects). They never started in a same game together though, in the season it was meant to be. This was supposed to be his season. Yet it ended before it even started. Saddest thing that ever happened to me football-related. I was, and still am so gutted by it .. Horrible just horrible!

I have been following this kid closely for 2 years. Happy to see he has finally become part of ajax first team set up. Other 'wonderkids' are ahead of him in terms of progress but that doesnt mean they are better than him. He is slightly built so It would always take longer for him to adapt to the physical jump from youth team to first team. He is the conducter, the orchestrator.. he pulls the strings, you run and his pass will find you. Vision, composure, close control, a d step ahead, manipulation of the ball. By the age of 23- 24 he will be one of the worlds elite central midfielders. A player in the modric/iniesta mould. He has a gift.
