Excellent overview of this pretty awesome backcountry tipi tent ⛺️ from Peax. Aside from the price I like everything about it that I have seen on videos, mostly from the Gritty Films channel and those guys. Good to get your perspective as well.
I currently just have an inexpensive Coleman 4 man tent 🏕️ but if I ever get to go out west I wouldn’t mind upgrading to something like this or even just the Seek Outside Silex with a stove jack for a more economical solo option.
Thanks 🙏 for sharing and God Bless.

Not a thing wrong with a Coleman tent brother, and it's easy to cut out a little section of the floor and put in a stove jack if you want to run a stove in one. Been doing it for years.

The word on the street is Peax is coming out with an inner tent with a bathtub type floor like the Helleberg tents…I want this tent but will wait until they introduce the inner tent.

Dan - thanks for the video. Any intentions of a follow up video after a couple hunts with the tent?
That might be the extra push I need to get this ordered prior to Colorado this fall.
    Thanks man.

It doesnt look like there is a snow flap on the bottom edge to pile snow on to keep the wind out.

No flap. the liner is a bathtub style liner so it helps with wind.

I just had my cimarron light in 40+ mph wind and it was a brutal night. I think this solitude braces and has more tie downs for bad weather

the trekking poles and all the tie downs definitely help. If its really bad you will want a few extra stakes.

    Do I need the nest?

If you are going out at a time that bugs are a concern then I would get the nest. If not then no you don't need it. If you are going to use a stove you either need the half nest or no nest. You can't use the full nest with the stove.
