I just bought the game for the switch and I am halfway through my first year. I’ve watched so many of your videos. Your hilarious and I love your content man. If I’m unsure what to do I start watching your videos and I’m right back at it, I love this game and thank you for being you. Ps. I got a dinosaur egg from using a hoe on worms mid summer. I couldn’t believe it.
He's wrong about the clock. Clearing the entire field each year in summer is the difference between being able to get a whole field plowed and planted in two days and not, which is the difference between one harvest and two, which is the difference of about 7.5 million gold. If youre an elite farmer, it is worth it, but most people have no idea what I'm talking about, including DF
Summer is the only season worth farming, because Starfruit is the only fruit worth planting, because it's the only Wine you can mass produce. Farming the other seasons is completely wasteful as far as real time to money ratio is concerned. So a golden clock goes a long way, preventing overgrowth, and wasting time every year.
My year long Ancient Fruit farm would like to have a word with you. But if you really want to speed up planting in summer, you can always plow and water your field at the end of spring, then plant something cheap like parsnips and let them die on the first day of summer. Then all you have to do is scythe the dead plants and plant your new ones. I can plant my entire forest farm in under a day this way.
if summer is the only season worth farming, than why do sweet gem berries grow in fall and ancient fruit supposed to be planted in spring (to make the most out of harvests) And how will you complete the bundles Finally, if you want to lose the grange display with only starfruit and minerals, BE MY GUEST IF YOU HATE STARDROPS
Maybe not for 10million gold but I grow trees on my farm for wood and grass for my animals, i would love to have my fences not decay and no debris on the farm in the beginning of a season. But i do love the idea of options you can toggle for what things to stop from showing up on the farm. we should message the creator that haha
I'm playing this for the first time on the Switch and I can't make money for the love of me. I'm at the start of summer and I have absolutely nothing to show for it. I think I have around 1500 gold on me and not a single structure to my land. Everything in this game is so dang expensive!!! Everything you want always have five-figure costs!!
You aren't far enough in to be making insane amounts of money... hopefully by fall of year one you have enough saved up to buy a shit ton of seeds to make as much as possible (spend all of your money on seeds if you have to, you'll earn it back quickly)
this was a list for what to buy for me (after I discovered a duplication glitch and duplicate starfruit wine and have so much money that it can’t fit on the counter)
The ginger island and desert obelisks are actually pretty useful, but of course these are pretty new, especially since this video came out. But also with the new update, you need all the obelisks to get the statue of true perfection, which is a statue that gives you a prismatic shard a day.
I never realized the statue of endless fortune gave presents. I just thought it occasionally gave random food... I never correlated the item with birthdays.
I don't mind the lack of mods. I like being forced to play the way you're meant to play, after I've finished I'll fire up my PC version and mod the crap out of it.
you can build a house for Pam and Penny after completing the community center, for 500,000. doesn't do much for you, i think, it's just if you enjoy the social part of the game
Grass and trees will always grow. But the debrees and the leaf piles will not spawn anymore. And the fences doesn't decay so you can at that point have whatever fence you want without having to do any upkeep of it :D
I don’t know if this is a glitch but if you mine up a broken fence (I normally use stone) you get the fence back in full working order and you can place it down fixed

E. Zachary Knight I'm pretty sure every elite farmer has ancient fruit in their greenhouse year long
My whole farm is ancient fruit right now. I am making a ton of money each week from the harvest plus the wine I make.
if summer is the only season worth farming, than why do sweet gem berries grow in fall and ancient fruit supposed to be planted in spring (to make the most out of harvests)
And how will you complete the bundles
Finally, if you want to lose the grange display with only starfruit and minerals, BE MY GUEST IF YOU HATE STARDROPS
Maybe not for 10million gold but I grow trees on my farm for wood and grass for my animals, i would love to have my fences not decay and no debris on the farm in the beginning of a season. But i do love the idea of options you can toggle for what things to stop from showing up on the farm. we should message the creator that haha
Broken Throne Yes. An option to toggle on/off for Gold clock is really necessary.
Have you been mining and foraging?
This video really helped me out. th-cam.com/video/OwVJuEXT1XM/w-d-xo.html
Thats normal LOL
You aren't far enough in to be making insane amounts of money... hopefully by fall of year one you have enough saved up to buy a shit ton of seeds to make as much as possible (spend all of your money on seeds if you have to, you'll earn it back quickly)
Justin Calitz I'm playing the game now on my channel. The key to making money is just planting lots of crops.
I'd like him to revisit this premise now that a few updates have happened and items and places have been added
Haley is number 1
heck
definitely not worth it.
and no, she's not worth it.
Cmd56000 bdum tshh
Here's a little lesson of trickery
When you first said divorse papers i thought you were joking but turns out it really worth it!
Imagine putting the beach obelisk in the beach
Wait is that possible
this was a list for what to buy for me
(after I discovered a duplication glitch and duplicate starfruit wine and have so much money that it can’t fit on the counter)
“Earth Crystals are hard to find!”
Uhh... when I find 3 in a casual, incomplete play-through, I doubt
DF i feeling nostalgic after watching this.... pls come back to stardew there are more content creators now
I always love how he begin his video: Hellloo everyone
The ginger island and desert obelisks are actually pretty useful, but of course these are pretty new, especially since this video came out. But also with the new update, you need all the obelisks to get the statue of true perfection, which is a statue that gives you a prismatic shard a day.
Your videos are awesome!
AH! I FORGOT HOW AMAZING THIS CHANNEL IS!!
"It takes your wife, out of your life"
Subbed
I never realized the statue of endless fortune gave presents. I just thought it occasionally gave random food... I never correlated the item with birthdays.
i have the switch version, i can manage my farm on the go. Unfortunately, no mods.
Alfredo Venturina I don’t think so...
I don't mind the lack of mods. I like being forced to play the way you're meant to play, after I've finished I'll fire up my PC version and mod the crap out of it.
Nanimator
what do you mean?
I love it
I have the Switch version as well. Can live without the mods.
I love that he does stardew valley corruption but also helpful guides XD
Furniture Catalogue? 200,000 gold lmfao
I was worried that I was gonna be on too many years, but then I saw his years and I figured I was good
“...A divorce! :D”
I was so happy because when Stardew valley came out on switch it was my birthday, so I could finally get something I’d play all the time on switch
I feel like he's smiling throughout the whole video
in a very passive-aggressive way
you can build a house for Pam and Penny after completing the community center, for 500,000. doesn't do much for you, i think, it's just if you enjoy the social part of the game
and after that you can pay robin to make shortcuts throughout the map for 300000 gold
The earth crystal was the first mineral I found...
It's only common at the start of the mines
As always, thanks for making such great content.
As always, Zoe
The Gold clock needs to have an option to disable grass and/or trees too
Grass and trees will always grow. But the debrees and the leaf piles will not spawn anymore. And the fences doesn't decay so you can at that point have whatever fence you want without having to do any upkeep of it :D
Stardew Valley belongs on the Switch, because it's like Animal Crossing combined with Harvest Moon and The Legend of Zelda.
I saw a wierd morman missionary ad on this video so this is proof that YOU CAN NOT ESCAPE THEM !
Year 107 are u crazy?
I don’t know if this is a glitch but if you mine up a broken fence (I normally use stone) you get the fence back in full working order and you can place it down fixed
You just threw an iridium bar into the pond....
his brain turned up missing at that hour, thats sure
Fun fact! Because they are tall, the kegs are more efficient if laid out horizontally rather than vertically.
