Installation of the Xiaomi Yeelight Meteorite pendant LED light to replace our old and worn out lamp. This video is unboxing and installation. Will upload the second part of connecting it to the Yeelight app and integrate into Google Home. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments.
Additional notes: hanging wire length can be adjusted from 0.5m to 1.5m.
Warning: Please be careful when dealing with electricals and be sure to turn off the main power supply from the breaker box.

I believe this supports 110v to 240v..but I'm not sure if there are regional versions of this product or if they're just the same everywere.

How is the brightness on this light? I wanna buy one but other equivalent lights have more lumen like the Philips Ensis.
Don't have the specs but I think the lumens is in the video. Personally, it can go from dim to very bright.. just about every level perfect for a dining area or counter.

Yes. once you have plugged the wires, try testing it before installing it on the ceiling
Hi when the bulb is burnt out after a long time , how do you replace the bulb? Or do you have to buy the whole new light as a unit?
Hi, usually these kind of LED technology last a very long time. In the event that it does, I don't think they sell replacements for these kind. These are using LED diodes in strips I would presume rather than the usual disposable bulbs. I have a Yeelight LED bulb with a estimate lifespan of 20+ years.. so I would think this would go longer - not discounting any electrical problems that may arise in the process.

Can you turn off only the main light but still turn on the ambient light?
yes you can do that via app
Did you connect the wire for the ground?
I only have positive and negative cables. Do you think it will work if I dont connect the wire for ground or if there is a workaround?
I don't think I had a ground wire either. I only had 2 cables to screw if I remember correctly. But please do double check or ask for an expert when in doubt.
Can you tell which size between screwholes in cm?
can you elaborate the question again? What do you mean by "size between"?

@@user-zh1om8db3l distance between screws is around 38cm... sorry can't get exact as I would need to dismantle the cover and the wires again.
When you were screwing the positive and negative cables did you places the ground cable afterwards? My eléctrico installation doesnt have the ground wire so is there a workaround solution?
My ambient light does not power on. Any pointers?

that might be the case becuase it should turn on on initially use
