Power your arms down while Forcing your head back at the same time quickly! Your arm and backhand Lat. and neck muscles will be stronger than their grip will be! 😉 when powering out, you'll headbutt their nose or cheek causing them pain too! 😉👍
And for the first one if they don't let go you fall flat on your stomach and they fall on top of you while still holding your neck. Prepare to have neck damage while now having a big guy on top of you either punching you in the back of the head and neck or getting a rear naked choke on you. I don't want anyone holding my full body weight off the ground while clamping onto my neck.
I had a friend in high school that liked to go around and put people in full Nelson's for fun. He wouldn't hurt you, like he wasn't being a bully, it was just like "he got you" but he tried it on me and I just threw my arms up and dropped before he could really get a grip on me. Obviously being on the ground at the feet of someone who is actually trying to hurt you isn't a great strategy, but this video just reminded me of that whole thing.
It's the perfect position to do an upper cut between the legs (men and women). Don't hold back, aim for their kidneys! They'll soon be back at your height again ;-)
It is really much simpler to ram your heel into the base of their patella. Doing this hard enough will dislocate their kneecap, after which they are not going anywhere fast. Other techniques to use in order to break their concentration on the hold are slamming them back into a wall, taking them backwards to the floor using a ko-uchi-gari technique, or spinning your body to create a form of hip throw. In each case, you start your escape from a more advantageous position than doing the shown technique alone.
I don't see the patella thing working. Judo will work. I've done it. Harai goshi while trapping his right arm to your side will have the attacker stuck along for the ride. Place side (corner) of shoe on shin, press down and back. Shin scrape is more likely to be remembered and enacted. bonus they are less likely to want to run on said shin when you flee. Or while they are trying to lock your head let most of your body go limp, a limp body is very heavy and they are unlikely to be able/expecting to hold that. BEST defense if someone unknown is coming up that close behind you turn to them before they could grab you. The absolute number one self defense technique is being aware of your surroundings.

I don't think anyone will come up from behind and put you in a full nelson. If you're practicing attacks from behind I suggest you train on getting tackled, or shoved to the ground, things of that nature. Situational awareness is a huge help that's true. Eventually it becomes second nature and takes little to keep an eye in the back of your head so to speak. Saying this just to add it. With a lot of the videos I see on TH-cam they teach "do this, do that, move here, do this thing" in rwal world situations people are apt to forget anything past step 2. The three main goals should be defend, attack, escape. The less steps in each the better. Focus on 1 or 2 step vicious attacks that can be done in more than one position. Eyes, throat, groin, knees. If your hands are above theirs go for the eyes, if their hands are above yours go throat, if they have your arms go groin, if they have you pushed down in some way attack the knees. Their are a plethora of single motion attacks that you can learn to damage each of those.
Do people not get that the whole point of this video is to show something better to do than not doing anything at all? Ofc the chances of you escaping a full nelson from a bigger guy is slim no but it ain't 0 percent. You gotta do what you gotta do when you can't gtfo
Sorry friend but your superiority attitude is uncalled for. In a real street fight trying some fake Bruce Lee shyt only irritates your aggressor. I have been thinking about this scenario and you explained it very well, thank you!
Excelente gracias
If someone has you in a full Nelson just get your new best friend and former rival Piccolo to fire a special beam cannon
I didn't know Piccolo and Raditz were friends
Place side (corner) of shoe on shin, press down and back. Shin scrape is more likely to be remembered and enacted. bonus they are less likely to want to run on said shin when you flee.
Or while they are trying to lock your head let most of your body go limp, a limp body is very heavy and they are unlikely to be able/expecting to hold that.
BEST defense if someone unknown is coming up that close behind you turn to them before they could grab you. The absolute number one self defense technique is being aware of your surroundings.
A better way to do it is to flip the attacker over your front. He's left on the ground and your on top now.
Make a 90° with your body, he loses footing and you use your shoulders to push him to ground and you can either run or stomp teeth
Yeah, ok John Wick. You’re not flipping a 250 lb man who has you in a full Nelsn 😂
@@aburningbear3138 john wick would just murder the guy. I'm just saying using momentum to throw them off balance works well. It's probably different if your a girl but I can't really comment on that.
@@aburningbear3138 Actually you can, if you manage to put someone off balanced it’s really easy to use his own weight as a weapon, that’s literally the whole principle of wrestling and judo
@@FyXeeu I actually saw a really big guy do this with a Bjj girl. She was a black belt and literally couldn't do shit lol. The dude was like 6'5 and like 230+ lbs and she was 5'6 and maybe like 130. As a lady in most cases best thing you do is run and scream😂😂😂
@@sageart4771 With that much difference in strength he probably could have rear naked choked her with one arm and actually threatened a real submission. This isnt a submission its something you do to your little brother
Hey nailed it situational awareness is key always look around and turn around frequently I do
This technique is locked and unlocked I did it 25 years ago, at that time there was no TH-cam, today I feel great at least today you are showing the correct one how to unlock💪👌
Unless you're surrounded and they all attack you at the same time
Yuh gotta hand it to Bruce and his choreography 😅.
This explains the full Nelson in the prison showers
😊
Or getting the hooks in on the rear mount!
Yes, the full nelson is considered to be a restraint and control move. Good video.
Wow 👌🏼 👏🏼 👍🏼 Gracias señor
Not sure if that’ll work if Bobby Lashley has that “Hurt Lock” on you lol
😂
Situation awareness 😮 if Bobby Lashley is coming over..retreat...
This is not the correct technique for a weak, untrained person against a larger, stronger opponent.
I only stopped just to read the bullshido comments of, Great Technique, Master!!!
As a smaller, weaker person; trust and believe that if I am grabbed from behind this will NOT be my go-to move 😜🤪🥴
@@Durttar695your go-to move seems to be to seduce the attacker with your homosexual ways.

My original remarks were accidentally attached here. I was attempting to comment on the video in general.
I don't know, nor care who @pandacruiser is. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, I rarely randomly attack people's views.
Perhaps @bollock mistakenly assumed that I was attacking his BFF @panda!!!

Priceless advice- would have been great to know growing up.
Awesome! I love learning simple tricks that work, especially when I would never think of it on my own.
Very helpful Thanks
Thanks for sharing! 💯💯💯
Thanks brother I keep learning this technique 😊😊😊😊
I have had a lifetime of experiences.. this guy has wisdom
Thank you!!
Thank you for showing us in slow motion because a lot of people show it too fast and I don't understand it but thank you but thank you for going slow❤❤😊😊
Master Ken has a better idea. It’s called the reverse thrust of freedom. That will break the grip. Then drop down and slip under your attacker’s arm to maneuver behind where you can disable and take down. Also (if you know it, say it with me) don’t forget to restomp the groin!
For the ladies...you can set this move up perfectly with a heel stomp to the foot, shin scrape, or heel to the groin.
Thanks brother!
always a good demonstration
I had three older brothers, safe to say I'm self-taught in this method.
When I got big enough I would step on their foot and hit them back into a wall.
Excellent 👌🏽 great technique
Just say "Abracadabra!" and you're free.
Thank you sir 🙏
