You guys and those Ducati’s are inspiring! I grew-up in Colorado and hiked Schofield Pass about 50 years ago. Some of those rocky section look mighty challenging. I ride a DR650 these days and I think that pass would test my limits..
Just love it! I did a couple of passes in Colorado with my DesertX and it is a mean rock eating machine! I did 5 of the Dirty Dozen passes last September and I’m planning to come back this year to finish the COBDR and DD! Well done! BTW, got tired of of waiting for Spinalli and ended up buying TracTives. In the mail right now!
Well done, Cory, but what a heck of a challenge you guys chose for yourselves!! That is one pass I would choose to skip as my skills aren't quite there and replacing a bike is not so easy for me, nonetheless very cool to see you guys pull it off....made for a great video! Cheers to you both!🤘
Insanity, but enjoyed the series and positive attitudes👍. I am very happy with my DesertX as an all-round adventure bike but no way I tackle what you two did.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well it did in the more technical terrain. The motor screams up top but lacks the low-end grunt of some of the other bikes in the segment. It needed a lot more clutching than I'm used to in the tough stuff but it made it through just fine.
It has some suspension work done. The stock stuff doesn't have a ton of potential; not for rowdy riding anyway. The cartridges are quite small and they need a ton of work to get them to a decent level. The DX Rally is enticing with the KYB SSS set-up.
I'm sure there are places in the area that do. Also, check out Ready To Ride Rentals. They are in Arizona but do rides in Colorado, and they have a fleet of top-shelf bikes available.
Jeeee that was rough !!

Nice Cory !!!
How is that dessert sled, you liking it as much as the T7 on that gnarly stuff ?
They are different bikes for different tasks. The DX is a much better all-rounder; the T7 is much better in technical terrain.
Great ride! Reminds me of a track we have in Australia called the Bridle track in NSW. Not quite as rough as that but big drop offs if you screw up!
Pretty freakin awesome, that trail looks really challenging and you guys slayed it 🤘
It's definitely a cool area and I can't wait to get back there!
Good vid Cory. Great place to see, tough place to ride.
Riding up it has been on my hit list for a while; I just hadn't been in the area for several years.
I ride a Desert X …. But not like that 😎
Gnarly as hell!!! I'd try it with a 300cc enduro bike but not my trusty T7 or a DesertX... epic footage gents and thanks for the adventure!
A 300 is definitely the wiser choice!
Preciosa ruta y el video muy bien grabado, esas pistas de piedra, había zonas que tenían una complicación interesante. Gracias por compartirlo.
I'm glad you liked it 😀
ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT! Woaaaah, what a ride! Incredible video Corey! Hell yeah! Awesome to see you and Spencer tackle this. You guys killed it.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Whoop, that was gnarly. Just watching it had me sweating. That was a really great video and well done guys. Hell of a challenge. 👍😳
It was a fun one. Black Bear Pass was closed when we were there so we wanted to do something tougher to make up for it.
Holy moly! That had my heart in my mouth. 🙈
Maybe only if my mother was back there would I have turned around. ☠️
It's a handful ;)
That shit looked so fun! I really dig the language too. 😂 Reminds me of my brother and myself 😅.
There is a lot of sanitized content available... we like to be authentic ;)
@@CamelADV us too. So I really appreciate your authenticity and just being real

It's definitely easier to ride it on a 500EXC!
Fantastic video… Ducati owes you two some commissions for selling bikes 🤘
I'll just be happy if they keep putting together fun ADV routes/challenges.
Burly & exposed, potentially serious combo. Some great, up on the pegs skills demonstrated there dude, nice work!
I got a couple favorable bounces in there... some skill, some luck ;)
"Is that an adventure bike ?" Classic!
7:20 hey thats where that guy and his ktm took an unintentional dive in the basin
Yeah, it sure is!
Wow, that mountain pass is really rocky and complicated. Congrats 😉
It's challenging but a great time!

@@CamelADV - T7 definitely has more grunt but in terms of ride dynamics I find them somewhat similar. Keep in mind I have average skills at best :(
Impressive, is the Desert X still on the stock suspension? (other than the HD Eibach spring you installed)

man i would love to ride there, i am from England - is there a company that rents out EXC500 or similar in that area? Colorado looks sick

thankyou for the info @@CamelADV
Same. All we've got here is mud, chalk and slate 😅
@@6Twisted I do love my mud and slate though 😜🤣🤣
Schofield is ULTRA sketchy.
There's a bit of exposure in spots, but it's a riot!
BEEP! Oh Fuck!
Spencer cracks me up. Drops his bike in the creek, "That's ahhh... kinda bad", LOL
