PROUD PINOY CHEF Inside A Cooking Competition In Italy | Gino D’acampo & Fred Siriex

- As a promise this my journey from the cooking competition "Gino Cerca Chef" on Italian Tv with English subtitle. The video contains some video highlights from the contest.This was a great experience indeed, first of all because it was my first time and I was the only Filipino inside the competition, from thousands of both pro and amateur chefs that signed up and gave their best in the competition. The show was hosted by Chef and restaurateur Gino D'acampo and Fred Siriex.
The show was about traditional Italian cuisine, you might want to have a wide knowledge about Italian cuisine in order to make it inside the competition. Luckily I live and work here in Sicily as a chef, my experiences in the kitchen helped me a lot during the competition. The grand prize of the competition was a three year contract to one of the restaurants of Gino D'acampo in UK. He needed only six chefs, It was not an easy competition as many of the contestants are high caliber chefs and aside from that who would imagine a Filipino would win a traditional Italian cooking competition?
From the interviews and a lot of cooking trials from different places in Italy, there were only 56 participants left, from fifty six they divided us into six batches that means each episode has nine chefs that will compete. From the start I kept on telling myself, I will do my best, and see how it goes. I want to win and have this life changing opportunity! In life nothing is impossible, just believe in yourself!

Morris is one of the example that Filipinos are clean and organized in different aspects thats why a lot of employer wants a Filipino worker and even in short period of time even we are in hurry we are still calm and manage to finish on time...thats the fighting spirit of a Filipino's. Most of Filipino knows lot of language.me as a Filipina I know how to speak German,Arabic,English,Spanish ,Basic korean and Tagalog because of my work in other country.I learn some spanish because most of the elders in Philippines knows this and aome part in my country speak this, English is the second language and usually use in everyday life ,I learned German and Arabic because of my work, Basic korean because of some friends.
Imagine you joined cooking competition in Italy. It's like you are cat and went to Tiger den. Italian dishes Is one of the most popular dishes in the whole world. You can see them in every high street in Western countries and majorities were high class. You are very brave man! Well done! So proud of you🏅🥇
It’s true, it wasn’t easy as there was also a bit of discrimination because I was the only Filipino in the competition..but it was a very good experience

I came from a video I first saw about a Filipino Norwegian chef who judged a TV show and said that Filipino food is very bad. Then I saw and clicked this. Grabe Sir, salamat sa pag Bandera ng watawat ng Pinas sa Italy. I know it was not easy but I'm sure it was worth it. ❤️

So this is what happaned? I just noticed it now. This is why MOrris lacked salt because Fred borrowed his Salt and gave it to the sitting contestants. He left the salt with the 3rd contestant and did not returned it to Morris. So thats what happened.
