    This was me a few weeks ago with my cub, didn’t have any landing issues but the wind made it more challenging for sure, I love float flying but my flying buddy’s aren’t into it like I am, maybe one day they’ll come around to trying it out. Well done Rich!!

    Beautiful plane! I like to add a little rudder aileron mix on a switch to these cubs to get rid of the adverse yaw. You can turn it off if ya wanna rudder it yourself in the turns.

    Nice handling again Rich-that wind really was beating it around-to get a couple of nice landings too with that much dirty air across the water is good going especially with a plane that size👍👍

      Yea... your right about the floats, the wind really grabs them & these floats are a bit large on this model... However, it did well for the conditions:)

    Beautiful plane and great flying my friend. I wish that I could get some FMS birds in my country but its so hard. Iam searching all over. I have found and bought giant Corsair in Germany a few days ago. I was watching your video of that bird ever since you posted and I just saod to myself a few days ago what the hell I will buy while I still can find it. Cant wait to unboy it and try it. Thanks for posting this video and big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert

    Hi I know I'm really late to this vid. I just bought this plane and I'm concerned about the servos getting wet. Had this problem with E-flite Maule M7. Ruined 2 servos. Any advise you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thanks fron Canada

    Nice plane. Shame you can't easily remove the tailwheel assembly when flying on floats though!

    Hey Rich. I find my Control Throws are to Low/Short. Ailerons for example. Theyre Centered 90degrees. And Manually Trimmed. But on 100% Weight they dont reach even the 14mm Normal Throws. only 10mm. By moving it to the Upper Horn hole i got roughly 14mm. But no Clue to get The high rates. Even worse are the Rudder and Elevators. The Rod Pins were not good so i glued them on Standart Peek holes of the Horn. Is there any way to increase the Throw with the Radio Above 100? The servos move like they are okay. Could you please give ma a advise?

    Hi Rich, Can you tell me how you set up the knob with rudder mix?

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Remove the Y harness from the rudder and the nose wheel steering servo. Then plug the rudder into the rudder channel and plug the nose wheel steering servo into an auxiliary channel (You may or may not need 1 or 2 servo extensions). Next, assign the auxiliary channel with the nose wheel steering servo to the knob for control. Then use the reversing menu to make sure that the knob is turning the nose wheel in the correct direction and that the rudder stick is moving the rudder in the correct direction. Now you have to re-combine both channels electronical by going into the mixing menu and create a mix where the rudder is the master and the auxiliary channel is the slave. Within the mix menu you have to adjust the left and right rate parameters to be either both positive or both negative.... Adjust them both accordingly so when you move the rudder stick to the left both the rudder and the nose wheel steering move left and then when you move the stick to the right both the rudder and the nose wheel turn to the right. This essentially turns the knob into a trim knob now.

    Floats are installed wrong...lol you got them swapped left for right....the pronounced chine goes to the outside...

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why do you think the chine goes on the outside?

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The chines go on the inside to divert spray away from the engine and forward cockpit window. On the outside, they could snag a float and roll the airplane over in the water.

    • @crashalexander7232
      @crashalexander7232 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1
