finally a reviewer from Malaysia! Love ur style and I subscribe.
I just got mine and doing a basic use of it I can say that it's really good. It boots in seconds. Has an awesome sound quality and more. Highly recommend :)
@Duckface927 the NFC chip is located at the back of the device just below the secondary mic (middle section of the back panel).
If you're talking about the Sony NFC SmartTags, that's sold saperately

guys just a little notice: the version he has is a pre-release version which is why the sony ericsson logo is at the back by the time you buy it it will say sony instead, also in the other unboxing videos i whatched even pre-release versions came with HDMI cable i dont know why his didnt have one. finally when you buy it off the stores the appropriate charger for your country will be in the box not allways gonna be the european one
@BBss19 thanks for watching. Sorry we have no idea on European release date but we don't think it will be far off from the expected March release in Malaysia.

I really love how elegant Sony/Sony Ericsson phones are. This XPeria S is even more. I just hate how cheap those Samsung phones are but the Wave 3 build is what I like. Too bad its Bada OS.

I bought this one. Only problem is some bugs/freezes. Android 4.0 also made the battery last longer.
Xperia s I belive is a awesome phone runs smooth with its 1.5ghz dual core processor I can play high intensity games with absolutely no lag and nice review
You'd have to take it in to a Sony Store probably. But that shouldn't happen in a long long time, unless you don't take care of the device.
from what i've heard, NFC tags are shipped together only in some countries
@TheKilerMan755 In Malaysia this will be below RM2k, that's about US$660 but we don't think that is an accurate indication

Looks like T-mobile's not getting any xperias. AT&T got Sony xperia ion meaning you can get it through AT&T contract. But for other xperia phones like xperia S, you can only get it unlocked to use your sim card on it.
@AlohaBiatch Megapixels only don't make a camera good. It's the lense and the sensor that play the big role. I'd prefer any 8mp cam with good quality over any 12mp bad cam. importand for me are points like: Noise ratio under bad lighting. blur while slightly moving. sharpness. My old SE c905 had a good cam, compared to my current Wave2, 5 mp yeah, but the quality of the cam looks like if it was a phone from 2005.

i've been using this phone for a week and and for all those who are looking to buy this phone, DO NOT hold it with wet hands.. apparently its screen is moisture sensitive and i had to clean it from the inside... its a design flaw...

as i see the ''sticker has removed '' which mean you opened the box before ,then its not the first time that the phone started !!

@dharkbizkit the camera is better than the iphone 4s. The HTC ONE X/S also has an excellent f 2.0 camera from what ive heard.The Xperia S is 12 MP instead of the usual 8 and knowing that all Canon and Nikon DSLR's actually use Sony Optics, I expect the Sony XPERIA S to have a great camera. Phones like the iphone 4s actually have a sony lens.
@SynthEnslaved Sony Ericsson doesn't exist because Sony baught of the Ericsson shares so now its the normal sony company. Its a good thing because it will integrate with sony services better

@eumakant I know it is nothing related to the video but I think he is a malay. he has a darker skin and malaysian chinese accent doesn't sound like that. :D
When will it come to the U.S? And will it be on T-Mobile? And how much will it cost on contract?
I have it, I feel regret to for it, so I bought Iphone 4s-32-W, I will never believe any create announcement any more, iOs runs smooth and its camera is the best, I don't know why Sony made Xperia S camera 12 Megapixel nothing to compare with Iphone 4S. pls test it before you decide to buy.
I love the new branding! prefer the sony Branding as opposed to the sony-ericsson.

No, but you can on the Sony Xperia U (I think it's U, it might be Xperia P)

4.3 In is exactly the same size as Droid X love the desighn but I REALLY WANT 5in DISPLAY LIKE SAMSUNG NOTE
sd card slot isn't really needed, since it has 32 GB :D I don't care about the battery since i can just recharge it every night.
I think this phone is perfect, but you can choose yourself what you'd like the most.

Why you so confused that it takes ages to start its the first boot everything needs to be built and cached....After the first boot it will start up fast ;)

After the update xperia S is a top phone! It's as good as Z anf better then S3 and S4 which are laggy trust me
