You are totally wrong ut commute times to Charlotte. First of all, it takes about an hour on Hwy 74 to get to uptown Charlotte. It takes 30 minutes just to get to 485! P.S. the Monroe bypass is useless as it just drops you farther along on 74 - doesn't take you directly to 485.
I've commuted to those areas it just depends on time of day. I do like the bypass as it it faster and it will connect you right back to 74 and into 485 which is convenient :)
@@livingincharlottenorthcarolina it’s a beautiful area. We are closer to the Unionville side and have a short drive to restaurants, Lowes, etc. ❤️ I honestly love it.
I had coffee at Sorella and it’s beautiful inside but dang they need to use stronger coffee beans for their espresso. Also please for the love of God quit mangling the pronunciation of this town.

Just moved to Monroe about 4 days ago and I've realized without transportation it's hard to get around
Yes the smaller towns certainly do not have the same transportation as the city. Best option is to stay closer into town so you can walk to everything

Love the locally owned shops and being able to walk everywhere. Never knew about the aerospace industry.
It's a great little town. And I didn't either! That was news to me. Manufacturing is a big industry here as well!
