Bracelets is something I haven't made since the late '80s, and back then all the source I had, was reverse-engineering bracelets i'd buy at the bazaar, and exchanging patterns among friends. I did have a book with 20 or so patterns, but all really basic stuff. Now I picked up making bracelets again and started browsing the web to improve my technique... i was blown away! I love information era. Thank you Masha for your tutorials, they enabled huge improvements for me.
wow this makes starting bracelets so much easier!! all my bracelets used to look really wonky and squished in the beginning, especially the thicker ones!!
Every damn time I make a bracelet I have to come back because I’m convinced I’ll manage to mess it up 😭 some day I’ll be able to do it without needing a guide.. some day

I’ve done this probably at least 6 times and I still forget how to do it and come back to this video every single time. I have no idea why it’s so hard for my brain to remember 😂 Great video! Thanks masha knots!
I'm a new subscriber, and I found you because you have a fan club. I was on another site asking some questions about how to learn this and someone sent me a message. I should have remembered their name I'm so very sorry for that. Anyway, I hope you have a great night.
Patti Araiza I’ve noticed it helps if you keep the tightness of your knots consistent. If you pull them too tight one line and then too loose the next line it’ll warp the sides. But it truly does come down to practice so just give it some time and you’ll improve ☺️
Backward forward and forward backward knots instead of backward knots and forward knots respectively just helps it look neater in my opinion. Hope this helps you improve even more!
Thank you so much for this video it helped me do #43913 with outter stabilizer threads whooo that was a hard one. I highly recommend doing that one for a double triangle loop!! No easy chevrons there!
Hey Masha, new fan here! I was just wondering if there was any way to do a triangle end on a bracelet with an odd number of strings? If not, how do you start/end a bracelet like that? Thanks!
For the V shape on the bottom, do BF and FB knots otherwise the halfhitch sinnet will make a spiral. Oh, I just realized that I'm thinking of a different method of making the V shaped end using the same outer string as the working end, making BF (left side) or FB (right side) knots over the bundle of strings (adding one thread to the bunch for each new knot).
im halfway through a bracelet and was wondering how to do a triangle at the end i have stuck down and now i realise i should have done it before i started 😂
How do you do this with even number strings that make it so there no set middle? I’m doing at 20 string project and there’s no middle. Does this not work with a pattern that’s primarily FB BF knots?
Masha what do you do if your pattern in the middle doesnt connect together like in the picture at 2:18 ? I'm doing pattern #36147 on Braceletbook.com and I don't know what to do?
How do I do it if I don’t use an online pattern? Because I just make bracelets off TH-cam tutorials so I don’t use the patterns so how would I do it because I don’t have it to look at?
Two questions: Do you completely ignore the other knots (the ones in black and white) after finishing the beginning triangle? Furthermore, what row do you start on once you finish the beginning triangle: the first one or the one that comes after the triangle?
I made the rainbow heart pattern bracelet and I started with a half triangle start how do I end with the same start so they connect if you put the tops together they fit well
Yes if you do that make a loop at the top and two braids at the bottom. When you are ready to tie it put one braid through the loop and tie both braids together like you would in the beginning of thing a shoe!
Hi Masha! Do you have a tutorial on how you made this Aztec Bracelet? I am trying to follow the pattern using segment knotting and it's a bit confusing 🤔 Thanks! 🙂

I am making a thin dovetail bracelet but there is no start to the triangle until the second row. Do I just start on that secon row, where the tip of the triangle is? Because I'm not too sure. (I have 16 strings)

Can this be done on alpha patterns?

You can use any triangle and you use however many rows you have from the triangle center to the edges

Ikr it's so easy and works perfect for adjustable bracelets!
masha, you are so powerful

THATS EXACTLY WHAT IM SEARCHING FOR :DD
Thank you so much for this! It makes much more sense now
You know this is old when she was doing the pattern freaking row by row-
Is there a way to combine the straight edge technique with the triangle ends?
Yes, just have the last string you knot onto (when making the triangle) be the edge string
What happens if the knot on the right is a left knot or a backward forward or a forward backward knot?
thank you, this really helped me make a half triangle end!
ayee this was posted on my birthday.
Thank you I love the way you explain things!!!!!
Two questions:
Do you completely ignore the other knots (the ones in black and white) after finishing the beginning triangle?
Furthermore, what row do you start on once you finish the beginning triangle: the first one or the one that comes after the triangle?
The Real Kenny G I always go with the row right after the triangle and follow the pattern as normal until the end triangle
Thank you so much very easy to understand❤️
This is super helpful! Is there a way to make the bracelet end in a single point rather than two points, though?
Yeah, just do one :) You can do a loop or something for the other one if you want
I made the rainbow heart pattern bracelet and I started with a half triangle start how do I end with the same start so they connect if you put the tops together they fit well
