Got the LS2 in last weekend and welded the new mounts up. waiting on new front radiator support to turn up then paint strip the engine bay and respray it. This vid gives me good motivation!

Great! loved watching your patrol videos. I'm also from Victoria. I have an 98 RD28 GU that currently has a missing coolant issue. Im thinking my head gasket is gone but need to get it diagnosed soon. I'm thinking of keeping mine diesel and doing eventually a TD42 swap on it with 12 ml pump. However, for the price difference, watching this video, a V8 isn't 100% off the table.

@@Marc180sx much better drive with them in man, you don't gain anything having them out to be honest. sort out the brackets try it on and off, you decide
mate i got an LS1 patrol completely stock engine and it doesnt pull anywhere near as much as yours. I'm fairly sure you have a mild bottom end cam i can hear the difference. Very mild but u can tell its got that little bit more grunt
That’ll definitely be a great option and appreciate that heaps mate, have gotten a few messages from some locals that have the diff I need but if they fall though I will definitely give them a buzz

Best thing I ever did in my old patrol was put a reverse camera on it. So handy for parking.

I,ve got a 92 GQ ti with a LS1 and auto with a 3 inch s,steel exhaust ,no cat and a muffler that does not much it sounds and goes wicked.
That’s tuff man I appreciate GQ’s with LS’s heaps
