We are actually shopping for a new bed frame. A while ago we said bye bye to box spring. We noticed that more companies make platform beds nowadays. Securing Floyd's headboard looks very simple and easy. I will check their site to see if they make matching nightstands. This is very interesting. Thank you!!
Seems decent enough, especially for all foam mattress where you might have some concern about the slats in some bed frames being spaced too far apart. That said, at $650 on sale for what amounts to 3 pieces of plywood and some legs, the price is pretty darn steep.
This is why millennials are poor. They spending all their money on cheap/ok quality things with high end marketing. Second hand market would probably be a better option, I bet you could get it for 3-400 second hand which at that price ain't that bad.
I am a single momma so no tools is awesome ! It looks easy to set up and would hold up to. I like that you can find the instructions online cause my instructions are always disappearing !
Very sleek looking and setup looks super easy. I am used to sleeping on a higher profile bed with box spring and mattress plus I have 6 storage boxes under my bed, so this would probably not work for me but I am sure would for many.
This is an awesome looking frame but for sure too low in profile for me. I love the natural wood look but need a higher profile. Thanks for the great video on another product i wasnt aware of.
The set up is ideal for those of us who hate assembling things and then get frusterated with the directions on how to do it..... Oh wait that's just me that feels that way🤷 I love this platform and wouldn't dread the assembly way to go on this design.
It seems like an interesting design without using anyscrews. But i don’t think its for me. I like a frame with a little more height. My frame with the mattress on it is 26” and i think its perfect. Still a great quick video👍

Hahaha, I like the ingenuity that went into making the frame with no tools etc. It would end poorly for me and my pupper though. She would chew through those straps in one night and so I don't think the Floyd bed frame is for me.
i really need a new bed frame. mine is metal and it was made in the 70s. really old. been around the family . this bed would be nice to have. i know it would be better than mine.
WOW - This is a lot easier than trying to put something from IKEA together. lol. Seriously, It is looks like a nice time saving alternative to screwing nuts, washers and bolts.

Hi, from your experience: are the panels more resistant than a door panel? I am thinking of by the metal pieces etc but not the panels. And I also find the plywood they recommend too heavy. Would be nice to hear from you. Thank you!
This would be good if you moved a lot and needed an easy set up or take down, but it is really not my style at all. I also would prefer a bed that is further off the ground so it is not so much trouble getting up in the morning.
I didn't notice any slippage but some mattresses come with a little bit of grip on the bottom to keep them in place. Along with that you can also try some double sided tape if it becomes a problem.
Hello! Just wondering if this is strong enough to support a purple mattress? my current bed frame is sinking. Also, I read some comments about Floyd not looking like it has the best air flow or something? Is that true as well?
I want to build my own bed like this but connect the panels with hinge. With hairpin legs. Do you think this would support me and my nectar mattress? I weigh 170. Unless I need to put some support in the middle?thanks!
I have this bed and putting the ratchet strap on was a complete pain. You have to get your body under the middle plank to tighten the strap, and as you can see, that’s a low clearance. I’ve had the bed since October and I honestly can’t stand it. As you use the bed the strap and brackets start to slide up and down the planks, making the bed frame unstable and planks move individually. Great video, but In my experience this bed is a waste of $700 plus.
@@Sleepopolis thanks! was all set to buy this but I heard that retightening the straps is required. The last thing I want is to have to do regular maintenance on a bedframe.

How often do you hit your shins on the corners
I can not seem to find any information on weight limits. My husband and I are 300lbs and am uncertain this would be able to hold us.

It is an absolute nightmare to set up. I'm watching TH-cam videos on how to use the tension strap ratchet and it's going on two hours. I hate this.
