    Ducks take 28 days and it can take up to 48 hours for them to fully hatch after they pip. I have also learned they require a little bit higher humidity then chicks.

    Did you Candle the duck eggs? That way you can see what eggs have an embryo.

    • @StephanieMoratto
      @StephanieMoratto  ปีที่แล้ว

      They wouldn’t have an embryo without being incubated for some time. We will candle them once they’ve been incubating for over a week

    I really like you. I know you probably think I'm unfair to you because I complain about bits being in your horses' mouths and I think the stalls should be cleaned more than twice a day...and other things I've said you did not like. I do believe and stand by what I say. But I know you love your animals. It's so obvious. I really like you and I think you are a terrific person.

  • @janienafsinger4605

    Title was "Incubate Duck Eggs to Hatch Out." There was no hatch out. What a waste of time. No information, just a bunch of chatter about everything but incubating eggs. She didn't even know what kind of ducks she had. Appeared she had no idea what she was doing, in fact she said that she had to "look that up" several times. You always calibrate the incubator. Never put eggs in a cold incubator. How many days? Gee I have to look that up.

    • @StephanieMoratto
      @StephanieMoratto  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Did you want me to lie and act like I knew what I was doing with it? lol would that make you feel better. No one ever said this was a how to video

    • @janienafsinger4605
      @janienafsinger4605 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To lie is never a good idea. I guess I totally missed what the video was all about. I watch videos to learn how to do what I do better and I was under the mistaken impression that your video had something valuable to teach. It is not about making me feel better and that is just plain silly to suggest such a thing. No, I guess you never did say you knew what you were doing so maybe a better title would be "Watch me learn how to incubate ducks."
